RIP to those brave people who lost their lives in the rescue of the lost boys in the cave ♥️🙏🙏♥️
Bon Voyage Thai people love you ❤️ 🇹🇭
As sad as this was, fortunately only one rescuer, Saman Kunan, lost his life then. RIP Saman!
The youngsters are Thai Yai ,who recently received Thai citizenship.
@@WanderlustReports Actually 2 have died now. Petty Officer Beirut Pakbara, a Thai Navy Seal, contracted a blood infection during the rescue at Tham Luang cave. Beirut was under medical supervision but his condition worsened and he died in December 2019.
@@WanderlustReports that’s incorrect, in the aftermath 1 Danish rescuer did short time after. 🙏
One of the older boys from the cave, the one who spoke English and translated for the rescuers, is now attending high school in upstate New York, staying with a host family. He has 100K followers on Instagram.
WHOA!!!!! That boy has great potential on life.
What is his Instagram
I just saw a news story about that recently. Nice story. Amazing young man.
Sadly one of them passed away. He got a football (soccer) scholarship in the UK which was his dream. But had some kind of ongoing medical issue and died suddenly. Was not ruled as suspicious.
🇬🇧❤
Holy crap! This video has only made us want to visit Chiang Rai even more than we already do 😳 We still get amazed at just how green Thailand is, but this is on a whole other level. And those epic shots of the clouds rolling in? COME ON! Amazing.
This is your best vid ever including the petrol dance !!! Thanks for letting us live vicariously through your videos until we can soon travel to this wonderful country. The views are spectacular and visiting the cave was a great reminder of such a heroic feat that we held our breaths every day wanting and hoping for a good outcome that seemed so impossible and unlikely!
The petrol dance was superb
Wow Omg that was amazing Paddy. The amazing views and the history of the cave made a fab movie and the dancing at the gas station made us giggle 😃
Thanks Mark!
Amazing,beautifully narrated
Really enjoyed this video Paddy! And it is true...how can you not love Thailand, they have it all!❤
Love the list of all the things Thailand has, and this list is all the things we love about Thailand. Lovely.
Traveling in north eastern thailand myself right now, and I agree with you, it has some of the most amazing scenery! And the quality and quantity of roads in thailand is fantastic
Endless praise to Paddy Doyle for his beautiful sense of fairness! He focus on the goodness, highest civility and sweetness of the Thai people and the top quality of infrastructure and services in amazing Thailand - truly a 1st World country with 3rd world salaries. Paddy Doyle and Thailand. What a team! And what a channel too!
Ohhh wow such heavenly views !!! The way those clouds rolled in to envelope right where you stood.. incredible !!! As was your disco fuel pump so fun I was laughing and wowing so much in this blog Paddy... So thankful I've found your channel 🙏🙏♥️♥️
I was up in that area when the rescue happened. It was buzzing with excitement. People glued to the television like they were when man landed on the moon. Thanks for taking the scenic routes, opened my eyes to other parts I have yet to see. Those Honda Cubs looked sick. 🧘🏻❤️☮️
That was epic Paddy! Drone shot was gorgeous with Great music, your dance at the gas station was awesome and thanks so much for sharing this wonderful video 🙏 Your content keeps getting better & better all the time! Keep it up….your vlog is definitely next Level 🥳
The musical gas pump - BEST THING YOU'VE FILMED! Safe travels!
Wow... The cave, the mountain and especially the Gas station.... "NEXT LEVEL!!!"
Omg 😆 that petrol ⛽️ station scene cracked me up. I love your positive attitude and humor Paddy.
Lake Louise has water of that colour, but it's from glacier runoff, I think. Great video, great music. That cave rescue story was so amazing. I feared the worst for the boys, but my Thai wife refused to give up hope. Thanks to all the volunteers who rescued them, the Thai Navy SEAL who sacrificed everything for them. Thanks so much as always for sharing this video.
Your Thai wife is one of those people who uplift this world. People with utmost optimism, hopes, faith and dreams. And these qualities too make the 13 boys alive after 17 days!!!
@@jomontanee looking forward for the release of “The Rescue” in the next few days. Even the rescuers thought there would be multiple fatalities trying to get them out. What an incredible story.
We really enjoyed the movie “The Cave” about the rescue. Many of the people involved played themselves in the movie. It was incredible how they brought the boys out one by one.
Excellent! One of the doctors involved in the rescue - Dr Richard Harris was the anaesthetist that played the crucial role of sedating the boys - Dr Harris is from my home town - Adelaide! Very proud!
25:40 - the best part of the video! I laughed so hard 🤣
Forget the view. The Fuel dance is hands down the best part haha
haha!
@@PaddyDoyle. shagging Dreamy
Ha ha. i like it
I couldn't agree more. 👍🤣😆
Thank you for this video. I have just recently discovered your channel and now watching to catch up. Seeing inside the cave where the boys were trapped reminded me of the miracle that they were alive and rescued by the brave men. Prayers for the diver that lost his life. The area around there is just beautiful and a true paradise. Wasn’t expecting music and your dance at a gas pump lol. Awesome!
Nobody can believe Thailand has this great place. Thanks Paddy. You did it again.
25:45 Love the dance break during fuel time!
That was simply amazing. Beautiful country. Can't wait to come back to Thailand.
awesome episode Paddy, love the view and that cave must have been a tourist attraction for sure. Let’s not forget Saman Kunan R.I.P Hero 🙏🏼
When the boy trapped in the cave found the first rescue, he asked where you came from, the rescue replied England, he turned to tell his friend that this cave is as long as England?
This was my favourite video yet, something about the way you made this video made me really wanna be there. And how amazing were those views with the clouds pouring into the valley. Perfect ending to a video about the Tham Luang cave rescue.
Oh and that epic dance made my poorly self smile at 4:30am so thank you Paddy 👍🏼🍻
The clouds rolling in..you timed that really well .amazing landscape..
Awesome video mate, this one had it all. Probs my fav of yours so far on this journey. Your skills with all aspects of content creation is truly fantastic... but to be honest, the gas rave was the highlight - fully cracked me up! Thanks for doing these vids. 😃
I am from Chiang Rai. Thank you for making great vlog about my home province.
This is the best video yet❤️❤️❤️. How do you outdo this one? I know you will delight us all again. Over and over. Thanks Paddy Doyle
Wow, thank you!
How did you already see it?
@@AmericanInThailand They are members.
@@nanmarkandlandmarkfoodshor609 OH, ok. Thanks!
Thanks for Going to the Cave The Rescuers are Real Heroes With Vision I Have Been involved in Quite a Few Underwater Rescues But what they Did Blew my Mind
One of my favorite scenes was the shot of regular Thai folks at the long table overlooking the view, they were chatting and laughing drinking wine. Such a great peak into day to day life.
Paddy I like the CBR 300, need a little power for those steep hills and a little easier on the engine on the highways. Anantra Hotel is great but expense. Love the elephant camp. I remember the boys and cave like yesterday. sad that that one diver died. Nice video Paddy. Don't forget you promised me a coffee video. 5555
lol
Really amazing scenery and the village on the mountain top was absolutely a place need to be visit..great video thank you Paddy..
Stay champ! (Love the shot with the clouds sliding over the mountains 29:37
Hahahaa🤪 it’s a tough one!
I rode a bike all around this part of Thailand in 1988 it was one of the best memories of travelling around Asia.
Remember the story well. Never thought they would get the kids out alive. Only the amazing work of the rescue teams saved them.
Such beautiful views again. A must see. 🙏🙏
Excellent vlog! Just loves those mountains (beaches as well). As for the 'gas groove'....5555, they should be everywhere!
Wow simply incredible . What a beautiful part of Thailand!
Another great one Paddy. And all of us still counting. Thank you so much for all your effort. We all love it. And then, now we have new places wish list in our pocket😉😉
Amazing video Paddy. Best one to date.
After 17 years of traveling to different parts of Thailand , Chiang Rai is in my top 5 places its a wonderful place to visit
There was a recent US news story about one of the boys that was rescued, who could speak English with the man who finally found them (who spoke English), and he just graduated from some school/college (can't remember which one) who was given a scholarship in the US. Some representative of the school was so impressed by him in the news that they offered a scholarship for him to come to the US. Cool story. Amazing young man. I think it's really nice that they created such a great memorial to the rescue. Thanks so much for sharing that.
One heck of a video Paddy, thank you, the cave scenes are incredible, stay safe x
RIP indeed. Incredible efforts to save the boys, sad to lose heroes as well.
Regarding the bikes, Dreamy look like she was blushing. Beautiful new bikes, but your adventure would not be the same without the vintage veteran that Dreamy is!
Chiang Rai looks gorgeous....
Oh, you dancing, filling up Dreamy with fuel.... will not erase for some time.... 😂😂
This is the first clip I opened. I search Phetchaburi but came across you. I watched your clip until the end and followed you successfully. I thank you for liking my Thailand. Thailand has a lot of beautiful places to visit. Thank you.❤️
One of the best vlog-style videos I've seen. Usually I don't have the patience for it, but you do it very well.
Truly Beautiful Caint wait to return back to the “ Land of Smiles 😀” As always we look forward to Vlogs you bring Thailand to our homes 🏠 …🇹🇭 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
Thanks 👍
This is definitely one of my favourite videos of yours!
Paddy dancing at the petrol station was comedy 🤣 had us in stitches!
From 27:15min to 28:00min ❤️☺️ Thailand is just amazing!
OMG ~ Paddy one of the Best Entertaining Video's & Beautiful Scenery & "YOU" Dancing was a +PLUS+ Loved it~...⛽🎼🎶🎤🕺💙
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow! Paddy you surpassed yourself with this one. Very very interesting, poignant and moving Absolutely stunning scenery. Keep them coming. I never miss yours videos. Stay well and stay safe. X
.... and 7/11's 😂 I followed the Thai Cave Rescue avidly and felt really emotional watching your video of it. I've been to Chiang Rai, but you are showing me so many places I want to visit, particularly that cliff top village with the VIEW!
This is so beautiful. We left Thailand 2 months ago. We missed the opportunity to go Chaingrai.
Oh My Budda!
This video can compete with some of the very best on BBC.
Mindblowing beautiful - my thai wife and my two children and me, we can't wait to go there ASAP.
Hello Paddy! I love how you enjoy exploring the province alone and living your life. I’m from Chiang Rai but you’ve been to more Chiang Rai than I will ever be! Ride safe and cheers!
I have lived in, and loved, Chiang Rai for 11 years. It is a truly amazing place.
Good to see you cheerful again! Love the low hanging clouds in Chiang Rai. Make us want to go again. ( We are based in Bangkok..we travel all around during the school hols, usually road trips with a rental car )
Right mix between a documentary & vlog. Scenic & cinematic all way long!
Wow Paddy in chiangrai ... so amazing my wife love you ( she from chiangrai ) and Thanks for bring us to see new landmark of chiangrai ..That's unbelieable
That was awesome son. Your new camera us a bit iffy! When your on moving close facd shots. The ending was mega and i actually got quite emotional. Love u son 🥰🥰
Go up to Doi Chang. Drive past the Doi Chang coffee farm and head leftwards on the ridgeline road and look for Sirinya Coffee. Coffee with an epic view. Doi Chang is accessible via Highway 118 on the way down towards Chiang Mai. You turn right at Ban Tin Doi (opposite side of the road) at around the 25km marker to go up Doi Chang. If you find yourself driving past a prominent T-junction that turns right into Highway 109 towards Fang city, that means you have missed the turn off into the road that leads you up Doi Chang. You will have to round back at the said T-junction and go back towards Chiang Rai. This time, the turn off at Ban Tin Doi will be off your left shoulder and is not more than five hundred metres after rounding back at the T-junction.
I did this a few years back on my bicycle. I tried going the opposite direction (north to south) once before but it is way too steep.
I'll have to check to see if Paddy braves the road from Fang to Doi Ankhang. My missus nearly had a seizure there. That road Paddy traveled behind Tam Luang cave is rough too - the boss made me turn back. :)
Beautiful video Paddy, thanks for taking us up the mountain for that epic view!
That little gas station dance is the best I've seen in a long time 😅 Great video.
This is one of my favourite episode on your Northern Thailand 🇹🇭 series no doubt. Nice one Paddy. 👍🏼
I love your show Paddy Doyle. Excellent work, your positive attitude is your finest quality! I'm hooked!
Absolutely fantastic video. Thanks for the tour.
Thank you so much for the great effort, feeling so good so happy and the natural beauty that comes with it. Great vlog.
This is the mood paddy, this is the mood! 💪
That view in Pha Hi: 😍❤😍.Yes, Paddy , you are definitely lucky to be able to travel on these roads and discover these amazing views...
Good VLOG from Thai People.
26:01 THE GAS STATION THAT PLAYS RAVE MYSIC. Lol. 🤣🤣🤣
30:50 Jesus the wine bar in the cloud and mountain!! The most beautiful thing in the wide wild. ♥️❤️🌈🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
1. Your cave tour makes teary for reminiscing.
2. GOLDEN TRIANGLE is the old name. Our great King and Queen rama 9 taught tribal people there to grow crops and find the market for selling crops to change tribal people old lives of drugs to decent farming which gave them good income.
When you started gassing up I was think “this is the most awkward fill up 😂” but the dancing redeemed you 😍
I have been to Chiang Rai twice, beautiful place.
Just saw the movie “The Rescue” about the 12 boys stuck in the cave. Fantastic movie!!!
Please all go to see it if you can.
I've gone back three times to watch you boogying to the beat while filling up. Great fun ... and the views are epic.
Well done on the videos, this is the 4th I've watched. Your doin a great job, I hope it keeps going well for you!
This is easily the best best UA-cam channel!
Another great trip Paddy. I fully recommend listening to the podcast AGAINST ALL ODDS Season 1 all about the cave rescue - absolutely amazing background that you will enjoy whilst driving dreamy
Best video yet! Well done Paddy, you're getting Quite good at this :)
Once again amazing view to die for....simply awesome Northern Mountainous Thai
Thanks Paddy for capturing these magical moments.
Great video Paddy! Love the drone footage.
We moved from Bangkok to 10 Rai of land just north of Chiang Rai city. Boy, am I glad we did! Yes, we do have to deal with weeks of burning fields, but the burning is somewhat controlled. The winters are dry and wonderfully cool! Perfect motorcycle riding weather!
Just a great video !! That was such a dramatic rescue mission and so sad for the 2 rescuers that passed away 😢.
What a fantastic trip you took us on in northern Thailand! Thank you so much!
Oh my gosh! That view… I’m heading to Chiang Rai in Aug 22 and you’ve just confirmed my choice was spot on… Also thanks for the dance 😂
The cave rescue story is amazing! While watching it unfold on TV news I suddenly realised I'd been there....back in '87!
I found an old pic of the entrance. I would love to revisit and pay my respects.
Re Thai ice cream: have you tried the Thai brand 'Boran' (ancient/historic), Paddy? It's only written in Thai script, has a yellow wrapper , and the Sweetcorn flavour is absolute incredible...! Aloi mak mak...! ( I saw some in the ice cream cabinet while you were buying your choc one)
Wow, dude! The most informative and quite short video about solo traveling in Chiang Rai 🎉 thank you
Of all of the places I have been in the world this place is my absolute favorite.
The king statue that you have seen is was
Phraya Saen Phu was the third monarch of the Mangrai dynasty and was the first son of Phra Ya Chai Songkhram. The king who built Chiang Saen City...
The reason for the name Saen Phu Because he was born on Phu Doi, he was born at Wianghirat, Nakorn Ngoenya in the early 19th century.
Such incredible images in this video! Can't wait to explore this region. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Very nice video as always. I'am living in Laos. It is indeed a terrible long lasting lockdown (LLL), even between the provinces. But compared with other countries very few 'cases'. However, where you have been before the golden triangle on the Lao side is Houayxay, the capital of Bokeo province. It is actually quite vital and people keep on with their 'normal' lives. Still I miss crossing the border hitting the perfect roads in Thailand. Keep the fingers crossed... until then I enjoy being entertained ;)
I was up in Chiang Rai 4 years ago. Wish I went there again last year when I was there!!! Hopefully we can get back soon! Great place.
One of your best video's Paddy. Had it all!
Great video, mate. Very interesting. You had me in fits of laughter filling that bike haha.😂😂😂
Hey Paddy. Came over from Chai Travel. You have a great channel. You guys provide us poor saps stuck in our home countries a great service. Keep up the good work!
I miss out this area during my last trip, would surely explore this area on my next trip. Thank you for the video
Chiang Rai is by far the best place I have been in Thailand. My intention was to live there, but the ever increasing smokey season was just too much for me. I miss it there so much.
Lately I've seen them very strict rules and law at setting fires in the north part of Thailand as we can see through satellites report of red dot when they got smoke. They have very very few in Thailand side but the most red dot occurred in Myanmar side and the North of Thailand affected.
Hi Paddy, Chiang Rai is a province with lots of interesting places to visit. Could you take us to White Water Rafting with accommodation and visiting Hill tribe villages. This will take adventure Thailand to the next level. Cheers.
