Night Market And Bicycle Tour In Nan - Thailand Motorbike Tour Episode 5
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 лис 2024
- It's time to take a break from the motorbike and explore the small town of Nan, Thailand via bicycle and check out their night market. Welcome to episode 5 of the Northeast Thailand Motorbike tour. Today I ditch my trusty Honda ADV 160 motorbike and explore the city of Nan on bicycle. It was great to get some exercise and to get off the motorbike for a whole day. The Nan old city wall was very cool! After about 2 hours of riding around, I was hungry. Fortunately one of my subscribers recommended a great Khao Soi restaurant. It was delicious. Later that evening I take you to a spectacular night market. This was one of the best night markets I have ever experienced here in Thailand. Time to pedal and explore!

In my opinion, Nan is the most unique and most special city in Thailand. People of Nan are just collected and calm. At least once a year, I need to go and recharge myself by visiting Nan.
Trips to mountains around Nan are breathtaking. Don’t miss it.
Nan is the ultimate Thai as the way people around the world think of Thailand.
Yes I loved it there. The mountains are really nice as well!
That beautiful sky as your background, it's so beautiful! Love your video as always 😊
Yeah, that sky was absolutely amazing!
That’s 765 miles! Wow! I’m loving your latest videos. So glad your back😊
Oh yes. More to come.
Wow, that night market looked so peaceful and the weather looks amazing. Love those small town type of events, without the huge crowds and noise. This is my type of night market!
Yes, this is exactly the type of night market. I enjoy. Not those markets in Bangkok that are just overrun with true groups.
Great footage as usual. Tks Serge
Glad you enjoyed it! More coming soon!
This was one of your funniest videos yet, and cool views. Loved it.
It was nice to get off the motorbike for a while!
What a wonderful city, wish I can visit that night market too!!!
It was definitely one of my favorite cities. I’ve been to in Thailand.
Love some of the witty tee shirts you see in Thailand. The Mountain Dew one was funny as hell.
Yeah, that was a really funny shirt.
Loved "the brick in the wall comment".
You’re the third person that caught that. 😂
Nan Nakara has the most unique and great traditional northern thai breakfast I have ever encountered. Many dishes I have never tried before and they will bother to explain to you what it is. Highly recommended. I stayed there twice, once w my family and they all loved it.
I rarely eat breakfast so I didn’t pay the extra for it. Glad you like that hotel.
Nan is amazing quiet little province with amazing mountainous view. Its districts of Pua and Sapan is very beautiful. If you go to Yasothon in May you can participate in the rocket festival, it is amazing, the people is nice and lots of Thai moonshine to pass around.
I really loved it in Nan.
I remember very well Nan it's was a very good discovery peaceful and many beautiful temples and also in the same spirit Phrae 😊
Man was great! Loved it.
Love Khao soi also ❤ with onion!
Yay BB, Bears on Bicycle! Loved this video guapo 🐻🐷
BB on a roll!
small and beatiful city :) love the city like this :)
Yeah I really loved it there!
Thank you so much for these trips. Another great episode
Glad you enjoyed it. I’ve got more to come.
Top tip, never watch a Serg video when you’re hungry 🤤. Really enjoying this trip mate, hope you’re getting the rest you deserve.
Glad you enjoyed it. I’ve actually spent the last two days in two different cities in two different hotels, relaxing, and just doing some editing. Back on the road tomorrow.
@@LifewithSerg Great stuff, take care mate.
I just ate and now I'm hungry all over again.
Nan is super recharged city, everything nice / slow and calm. Also Phrae province, the slow walk city.
P. S. View of the mountain in Nan is stunning especially Sapan.
Yes, I really love that area very much.
Love the cute bicycle. Great for "buffalo" viewing 😂
Except it turns out those were all cows. What do I know. I just eat them. 🤪
@LifewithSerg haha! I had to double check if buffalo were different in Thailand. All I know is that you steer clear from buffalo here in South Africa. They are aggressive
Nice video Serg! Looks like a nice town. The food looked good
It was a great town, definitely one of my favorites that I have visited in Thailand so far
Beautiful trip 😍
thanks for sharing that 🎉
Thanks for visiting
I'm so glad you went back for that garlic bread, it looked great. If it's not too difficult to get to will put Nan on the itinerary for our next trip. We usually spend a couple of days in Chiang Mai and will see if we can make it over to Nan.
The garlic bread was absolutely worth it. So delicious. I would highly recommend you come and check this place out. There’s lots of great little areas outside of Chiang Mai.
Nice video serge , thanks for this video , will be a guide as I am going there on December, anyway if I am not wrong those are not buffalo but farming cows
Yeah, shows how much I know about agriculture. Lol.
😎👍🇺🇲
It's almost 6 pm here in the stormy PNW.
Definitely made me hungry.
Great work brother 👍
Cheers 🍻
Go eat something. Lol
@@LifewithSerg
Unfortunately I had oral surgery a while back and still won't be able to eat anything solid for a few more months.
Anything I can eat is pretty soft and bland.
Nevertheless I enjoyed the video 😁👍
Loving this motorbike tour… 👍🏻
Happy to hear that!
Love the video as per usual. One question I have was when you first moved to Thailand, did you get food poisoning a lot while your stomach was adjusting to the various types of food? Haven’t been to Thailand yet but one day I’ll go.
No, I only got food poisoning once, and it was actually at an Indian restaurant. However, I’ve always had a very sensitive stomach so I would say for the first four or five weeks. I had quite a bit of diarrhea. I think this is common for a lot of people while adjusting to the food and the climate.
Just come back from there. Been with the motorcycle from Lampang. Very nice city
Yeah I loved it!
How beatifull Thailand!
Yes. Very nice
As usual very enjoyable video
Glad you enjoyed it
the wall is the same architecure as Ayutthaya's style
nice quiet city, the temple blend in with the city :)
the river is Nan river.
it is a cow NOT a buffalo :) like you travel with loss the way
Loei Province is really nice too
Yes Loei will be up next. Stay tuned.
I love street food evereywhere in Thailand
It’s good, but so very unhealthy.
Like these small town videos ! I'm no expert( don't eat them) lol but those were cows I think not water buffalo 😎😁😎
Yes, many people have corrected me on that. I’ve just never really seen cows in Thailand, so it was a surprise.
ดีใจมาก คุณทานอาหารไทยได้ทุกอย่าง แล้ว บอกว่าอร่อยด้วย😊😊😊❤
Most of is delicious!
Very nice hotel bet you did not turn them tvs on at all 😂 now nan look very nice and that night market wow very good and the food look good as well
I really love that whole area, definitely one of my favorites that I’ve been to in Thailand so far
@@LifewithSerg that good to hear looking forward to your next video
Another great lost with serg video 😂😂😂
Ha ha. Always getting turned around.
Those buffalos look pretty skinny! No good burgers from them! Maybe three of them.. 😂
He he. Turns out they are cows. Ooooos
So cool..thanks Serg
Loved this town!
Nan should come between December and February, the weather will be cool and comfortable because it is in winter.🤗⛄️❄️
Yes, that’s a good idea, doing this trip in rainy season is not something I would recommend. 🤪🤣
They were cows not buffaloes😅
You know, I was wondering that. They were just strange looking cows. I’ve never seen such skinny cows. 🙃🤣
cebu!
They are cows..not water buffalo. Just to clear 😂 my husband who is Laotian kept yelling at the tv 😂 it’s a cow! A cow! Still cows!! 😂😂
Yah lol. My mistake. 🤪
Pu ka nan pha is hotel that you stop to drink orange juice. I've been there long time a go.
Ah ok. It looked quite old.
❤❤สวัสดีครับ ยินดีต้อนรับครับ
Hello!
More car shows please and I might join you there... (If I can bring my cars.. from Oz)
I love car shows, but my subscriber base doesn’t seem to like watching them. So I’m waiting for the very interesting ones.
You got to hit the ROAD TO NO WHERE from Nan to Chiang Khan
Oh yeah, Chiang Khan is in one of my upcoming videos.
Nan and Mae hong son province that place that people most intention to visit due to they are the edge of the country.
Yes, I really enjoyed both
คุณนี่เก่งขับมอเตอร์ไซค์กับปั่นจักรยานสุดยอด👍👏
I love machines. 🙃👋
Nan so beautiful and unique city 🤗😊🫰❤️🎊🎉
It’s definitely one of my favorites
Wonder how many people caught the Pink Floyd remark ????? food looked delicious....Matt & Lucy....only 107 today.....
You’re the first to mention it. 🙃 107?! Oy. Only 89 here this week.
I ave soo Much fun ❤
Happy you did!
🙃✌️👍
I went to a more food oriented market near the tourist information building not sure if its this one
Not sure.
This river is Nan river run from the north of THAILAND to middle of THAILAND and Nan river is the most one important of Chao Phraya river
Ah yes. Now I remember.
❤
🙃✌️
Those are "cows" not buffaloes and the boat isn't longtail river boat but a "long" racing boat(paddling with about 30-40 paddlers)
I can’t know everything. 😬
Looks like the breaks are working this time…😂
Ha ha ha. They had 10 different bicycles there. Many had flat tires or bad brakes or messed up seats. A few minutes of quick work and moving some parts for one bike to another, and I got this one working well.
Lol, usually people are saying there's no trash cans so that must be an anomaly.
I was shocked, literally shocked, to see that many trash cans. It’s like I went to another country. What’s next? Common sense and critical thinking ability? 🤣🤪
4:00 Aug 18th, 2024. Good Morning 🌞. From Gilbert AZ, USA 🇺🇸. Really enjoying your bicycle tour in Nan. The Calsoy looked really good. Sorry for the high sodium content. But I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Great hotel 🛏️ 🏨. Nice price. As well as your Night market adventure. Great selection of items at the market. Food galore. Great selections, the garlic 🧄 bread 🍞 was definitely yummy looking looking. Kebabs looked amazing too. Mangos seem to be very very popular in Thailand. Great work 💯. Awesome 😎 video 🎥. Stay safe and Healthy Blessings and Happy Adventures always. See you in your your next 🎥 video. 21:29
That’s probably one of my top five towns that I have visited in Thailand, really lovely
❤❤❤
🙏✌️👍
Hope you didn't get caught in the rain and flooding
I did not. Fortunately, this video, and the next few videos were all filmed about a week before the flooding.
Hello Serg
Hello
@@LifewithSerg welcome back, enjoy Thailand.
Bebeb 😂😂😂
Ha ha ha BEEEEEEP
น่านบ้านเกิดผม
Love it here!
Hello
Hi
That's cow not buffalo 😅.
Yes yes. I’ve just never seen such odd looking cows. Thanks for the correction.
Hi Bro...
Hello
They are cow not buffalo.
Yes, many people have corrected me.
@@LifewithSerg They are breeding local cow with american brahman and Indu-Brasil cow.
Cows, not buffaloes.
I’ve never seen cows like this before. But yeah, I thought they looked a little strange.
It's a Cow, not buffalo !!
Thanks
No helmet ????
On a bicycle, in Thailand?? It’s a miracle if one out of 1000 people in this country where a helmet on a motorcycle. 🤣😂
Dude, wear a helmet
Yes dad.
👍♥️💖🌺🌸🎉🎉
😃👋
Pink Floyd fan?
That was the first English song I heard when we moved to America in 1980. So it has a special place for me. You’re the second person to catch that reference.
@@LifewithSerg where you from originally? The first Pink Floyd lightning that struck me was: Shine On Your Crazy Diamond. I am a naturalized US citizen too.
@radical9er born in Russia, but grew up in America.
Nan to Phetchabun is too far. You should stop at Loei. There are many beautiful tourist attractions. Then go to Phetchabun. You will get more value for your money. Trust me.
Keep in mind that these videos are about a week and a half behind. I did go to Loei and Petchabun. You’ll see in the next videos.
