- Since fitting these Continental trail attack 3 tyres, I've used them in all the different conditions I'm likely to come upon. Real heavy rain a tiny bit of snow, blistering hot melting roads, mud, and some mild off road. Long day trips out and short blasts with mates on the sports bikes. These tyres have never made me feel wanting for more grip.
Hi. I totally agree with the last comment. My Trail Attack 3s are wearing much better than any other brand I've had on my various GS/GSAs. I was also amazed at how well they performed on that muddy road - I'd have turned around!!!!!
Hi will have to check the mileage on the front tyre see what it's done. The back had to be replaced as I had 6 or 7 punctures all at the same time. Only thing they and l don't like is wet grass.
I have them on my GSA and find the the same. Similar wear too. Great report and you are a braver man than me. Those roads looked very sketchy 😊

I wasn't expecting the lanes to be that bad, but they keeped me up upright. They don't like muddy wet grass, but other than a enduro tyre. I don't think anything does. Big thanks for watching.
I bought them a few weeks ago and will mount them on my Tenere 700. Hope I will feel a difference in handling on the street compared to the Pirelli STRs.
Hope you find the new tyres OK. Felt the bike turn in better. And felt more confident on them.

Great post, thank you. I’ve noticed my fuel consumption has deteriorated slightly since putting these tyres on. Have you seen the same?
Been told it may mean I need higher pressure than ‘normal’ for these tyres. I am interested in your thoughts.

I stick to the BMW recommended pressures 2.5 front 2.9 back. Have found my mpg has improved more confidently holding my corner speed not braking, then accelerating.
Im a little dissapointed how they square off for me after 3k miles but other than that the best tires Ive ever had for all around use
I did get 5000 miles before there was a noticeable flat coming. I'm not sure what sort of roads you use. Here, around where i ride, we use lots of the smaller twisties. More fun and less time on the middle of the tyre.
@kengsadventure1806 the bike I have this on is exclusively used two up with my wife, so I think that's the contributing factor. We are both fit, but it does squat somewhat beneath us. I still love the qualities of the tire.
I live near the dragon if that means anything so twisties are a common occurrence however we like to roam and that means long distance. Happy trails friend thanks for the reply
great vid ! do you have experience with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II Dual Sport Tires ? they seem to be rather similar?
I have never tried then. Some of my friends have them on their bikes and like them. And have had good mileage out of the dual compound tyres. Again, like myself, mainly light dry off-road use.
My bike came with the Michelin anakin adventure. What is your opinion on those tyres?

Had no problems with the factory fitted Michelin tyres, and they looked as if the mileage I was going to get was good. But all of a sudden, the back got a big big flat in the centre. And tread on the front went on both sides. I was a bit disappointed with the rear wear on the Continental but had to change it due to multiple punctures. But I replaced it with a Continental. And I'll have to check the mileage on the front.
What is the tire index?(W or V) I have W one and after 2500km half of the rear tire is gone(the front is almost new)
The one I had to change because I had so many punctures was a V, and the new one I replaced it with is V.
Both W and V are speed ratings and. I don't think it would be a problem as both are rated at a higher speed than the R1250GSA or GS will do.
