Beautiful example as to how you can make a 10 minute long video captivating with actual sustenance to it. You do such an amazing job at balancing being informative while also being creative; something that feels like is "either/or" from this community. Every bit of this video is gorgeous. Nothing feels repetitive, nor boring or lackluster. You bring the creativity, the originality, the ideas-- and you present it in a way that is so refreshing to see. I hope you'll continue to be inspired and to inspire. x
Honestly, with the ingenuity of the ideas you're presenting, along with the nice set pieces you made for this video (like with the ink blight trio demonstration), it's such a shame this channel isn't as popular as it should be, because this is (imo) Don Gianni level content. Keep it up!
You have no idea how much it warms my hearth to read a comment like this one! Thank you so much and i'm glad the effort put into my videos don't go unnoticed ^^
It's a really satisfying synergie! I showcase this effect at 04:13 in this video, if you meant the brambleshade armor though, then yes this is definitely an upgrade to what I showcased.
Such great content on this channel, and I love your thumbnails they're so cute! The aesthetics of your farms in the videos are so pleasing too. The void rift one looked so beautiful! ✨
Another great use for it (paired with the helm if you can) is quickly dealing with crawling horrors and terrorbeaks. Playing maxwell & using and abusing the bone helm is really strong, but if you don't to deal with having 6+ creatures running around your screen blocking your clicks you have to get sane again often, and fighting them can take a bit each time. With the staff, though, you just stand still and hold f for 10-15 seconds and they are all dead, and your sanity is high. Found a lot of use for this prior to getting a sanity station/access to myriad sanity food.
@@thepiemonk8 one of my good friend does this exact strat! Always makes me laugh when I see him on top of his beefalo with a bone helm shooting in all directions and seeing all the projectiles hahaha
Damn, such and amazing video once again! Hope your channel grows fast, you really deserve your time in the spotlight. Im thankful for having finding your channel, ill for sure be sticking around. Keep up the good work!
Its kinda funny to see dst actually start to move toward the devs original intent with combat in don’t starve, with indirect approaches to combat through traps and what have you being taken instead of melee.
Great vid! Gave me some neat ideas on how to use one of my favorite items in the game. I used the brightshade trap this one time to defeat the Bee Queen. I believe I used 3 separate traps of 3 brightshades each to beat her. It was actually a pretty fun fight! 😃
Hey, dropped a sub. Starting my own DST channel and watching this video helped me see what can be fixed in my own videos, like 1 thing I learned is to make nice/easy-on-the-eyes builds for each little segment. I hope you do well!
For the unnatural portal I just use two gunpowder and blow up the docks directly below the portal, the monkey spawns but immediately falls into the water below leaving you to be able to collect the resources in peace. I saw it in on a stream and have loved it ever since! The streamer called it the shame hole lol 😂
That name made me laugh hahaha, how do you use moongleam on the portal though using this method? Do you still have access to it or you just have to wait for the portal to spawn the ressources naturaly?
I think crown is a better option to kill brightshades. With sanity food, you use only half of the staff durabilty to kill all the infest of brightshades.
Oh if you intend on killing the brightshade, the crown is indeed better. It would be a waste of ressources to use the helmet instead. What I was showcasing though was that by using the staff you can trigger a trap to kill other mobs!
For armored bearger, why would you use the lunar helmet when as a solo fight, you don't make use of the additional pings? The enlightenment crown would simply just cause more damage in the fight, which, correct me if im wrong, is also lunar damage whether you can do it in 1 hit (plus gestalt) or 2 (since the window is rather small)
@@courierz9451 That's a good question, here's my reasoning behind it. -Enlightment crown doesn't deal planar damage, so it's damage would be reduced against an entity with planar resistance. I don't have the exact number but the damage most likely is pretty close to the buff the helmet gives to the brightshade sword. I would think the dps would be pretty similar. Yes you'd do more damage with the crown if you were extremely optimal with it, but for that fight i appreciate the consistency in damage that the helmet procures. -Armored bearger has an insanity aura of -100/min. You'd have to manage your sanity constantly to keep your enlightment crown active. This is a minor issue but it's extra things to do in a fight where making an error can be extremely fatal. Though to counter-argument this, you could use a void robe and some soothing tea. -If en error does happen, i'd rather have at least a little bit of defense over me than not at all with the enlightment crown (though once again that won't change much against armored bearger, if said error is to big). The head gears are only a suggestions though in the video, if you do feel like the enlightment crown would be better, do feel free to use it!
@warlockadamm ah okay. Yeah no i figured if you were suggesting the helmet over enlightened crown, youd compare and give reason, but i didn't see anything as such in the vid so i was curious. I completely overlooked any sense of insanity aura since its lunar mobs, and berger specially.
The one in front of the build is the "moon dial", you can craft it at the any of the magic station (the prestihatitator or the shadow manipulator). If you're talking about the structure behind Wes, that's the Brightsmithy, it's a really end game item that you can craft at any of the lunar altar. Hope this helps :)
@@warlockadamm Thank you so much!!!! I mean the moon dial. Love your video with the setups, information telling and edit. Hope you will glow up one day

Is nobody gonna say how beautiful it looks 7:35
I watch the video pausing to Pay attention to the details you put in the building you made, very cute the two gnomes together at the end!
I love how you decorated the ares so nicely. It looks so cute and inspired me!
This is one of the best DST videos I've seen and I've seen a lot! Keep up the great work. As an occasional Worm wood main this is very intriguing!
Bramble husk procs very often with the staff too

Amazing video in every aspect possible!
the wagstaff method is such a smart use of it, i always found it so annoying to kill the bird’s one by one

Can you do an entire video on Worm Wood battle techniques? I feel like you would come up with some wild strategies.
I might consider it once the next beta comes out! There's going to be some tweaks to his arsenal that i want to test out a little bit first.
Gestalt per bounce is broken. Spiders, hounds, any grouped mob just dies
