Theses games were my childhood I would always use the cheats to get the pink elephant and rainbow zebra every save.I use to bring my favorite lion to the first area every time I got bored and just chased the zebras around I had a strange hatred for that zebra totem

Hearing the ds music makes me so nostalgic omg and watching it unlocked memories I forgotten. The moving in music made me giggle I remembered it. It is pretty catchy isn’t it? I love SimAnimals, I spent ours on these games! Once on the SimAnimals for DS, I've got this pink bird, an "happiness bird" that spawned because all the animals in one biome were super happy and I just kept it in the backpack 'cause I didn't want it to got away anymore. I've never got something similar in other games, I can't find it on the Wiki (I'm italian and it's been years since I've been active in the community so I don't remember if it was still called "happiness robin" in english too and it seems like it doesn't find any info with other keywords) and I'm still wondering if I had just hallucinated😂
I only knew SimAnimals Africa on Wii. However I couldn't finish it myself (I only had the pirated version, so saving didn't work to start again from where I left it). Thanks to you now I know how it ends. Thank you so much for this video!

32:42 NOOOO NOT BABY ZEBRA. There is actually way to stop animals from eating each other (which would have been useful before-). If you rapidly move your hand on the fight cloud it'll separate the animals and no one is hurt. I have no idea how I discovered this as a kid but I'm glad I did, way too many close calls...
I played both games on DS and these were FIRE ! I remember always having a cloud ready for any wildfire, and strugling like hell to blow to shake trees but being too stubborn to just use the tactile way lmao

I only had SimAnimals Africa, I loved it. I thought that one berry that changes an animal's colour to be unnaturally coloured was so cool, like a shiny Pokemon, I wanted to make it my goal to change all my animals' colours. Also I named my raptor Yoshi.

The Wii version of SimAnimals Africa was everything to me as a kid!!! I was so disappointed that the DS version was different. I struggled to get through all the levels on the regular Wii SimAnimals game -- it seemed glitchy or just kinda busted. And my files on Wii SimAnimals Africa always got corrupted right at the end of the game and I couldn't continue playing on them, but that's ok cuz I restarted the game many times. You can collect a bunch of species of bugs. :~)
I had cracked versions of SimAnimals Africa and Forests on my Wii when i was younger and i loved it haha. I would play it again today, just for the sake of nostalgia (and also because i wasn’t able to figure out some stuff about the gameplay and the story back then and I need to take my revenge on these game and figure it out)
In Sims Africa I always liked throwing them into the water.. and whenever you put in codes to make your zebra rainbow or your elephant pink you would never be able to use that save again 😶
It's a percentage thing I think, I've been able to play with the cool colored animals but if i unlocked too many insects or fruits my game would stop loading at like 60%. At first I thought it was from unlocking the meat from that tree in the giraffe place.
oh and when i can play with the pink elephants and such, when other animals keep getting born or spawn in they have a chance to get the special coloring. so cool
When I was a kid I got the SimAnimals DS game, and I got so far into it. I became obsessed with this game! It made me feel very satisfied as a kid. Until I realized I had to begun farming squirrels to feed my wolves. Then it became more... of a cool science experiment.
Freaking loved these games (DS ones I never played the Wii ones) man. They were so good. Might be nostalgia based on this video 🤣 but straight out the womb I loved grindy games that take ages to progress. I would totally play these again now and I remember collecting everything in both games. Every fish and bug in Africa and there was some cool color changing things that were really rare and you got an achievement for it or something (you discovered one accidentally) The first one for some reason was a bit harder for me than Africa
oh god i cant remember off the top of my head just had to google it again lol but i was using the beta version of dolphin, and it was under graphics settings and changing the backend to direct3D 11 ( or u can change to vulkan but direct3d 11 work for me) hope this fixes it !!! xx
