0:39 No no no... Its not a "Lamborghini engine", stop calling it a Lamborghini engine! Audi Sport division constructed the current 5.2 FSI V10 engine on the basis of the older 5.2 FSI V10 from the C6 S6, which is directly derived from the 4.2 FSI V8 and shares a lot of its parts. It was meant to replace the Lamborghini-constructed 5.0 V10 for the facelifted version of the Gallardo in 2008. Pretty much the only thing they have in common is the V-shape layout, the cylinder count and that they are both petrol engines.
The 5.2 engine from audi has been redeveloped by Lambo, so the orginal one it was made by audi (r8 untill 2015), the new variant (huracan and r8 plus, the lp610) is a development of the Audi one. So technically the project started in Audi, but it has been upgraded by Lambo. It's called "Lambo" engine because the new variant was made for the huracan. I used to think the Pre facelift R8 was better then the Huracan, but after driving the new EVO there is a considerable change between the R8 Performance, The new EVO is insane and shoots pretty crazy flames stock
This is my favorite sports car 🏎️
I remember seeing the R8 in iRobot with Will Smith back in 2004ish and thought it was the coolest car ever!!
"the new r8 is ugly"
What the ***? IS seriously goodlooking!
"Vegeta, what does the scouter say about this car's redline?"

Nsx is overpriced. And i agree with yuri, 1st gen ftw! Love the red interior, it reminds me of my buddies audi gt coupe back in the day.
NSX all the way tho
In my SQ5 (and even in my old 2014 Tiguan) the exterior mirrors moves with memory seat. I did drive the R8 V10 plus last year and yes it is AMAZING !!!!
Maaaan! I was rewatching some videos yesterday and I was wondering when there was gonna be a R8 video! You’re the freaking best!
My dream car, I love the engine, exterior and interior
Bring on the RS6! WE LOVE WAGONS!
Discovered this channel because of Andie the Lab. really glad I did! Hope to see a crossover episode with Andie, probably the two best Auto channels on youtube right now! totally subbed
Andie and Rex will meet one day
Gotta miss the V8 and the gated manual, though.
V10 gated is much better

1:51 i got a 1996 A4 2.8 Quattro and its nice, definitely not zippy like the R8 but still an Audi and ready for Quattro season. 18,600 miles
It's the underdog subtle supercar. And I love it. Might wanna Trade in my Stinger for it one day 😂
Got 2012 R8 few months ago. Get constant looks and compliments on the car. So don't agree with reviewers that the car doesn't get attention.
Good looking car, excellent transmission, incredible motor...
I would take a 911 Turbo S all day over this thing all day.
The business class hurucan and I’m not even annoyed 😂😂

I think performance wise for the price I prefer the McLaren 570S and their sound. Styling wise, the 1st gen R8 and Acura NSX look even better.
I do love this vehicle and if money was no object I would have one in my garage
I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but that transmission is seriously great.
