That’s one bad arse build!!! Love all the little details and mucho travel.
Gotta be one of my favorite trucks on the channel so far. So many rad little details on this one
Exactly how i wanted to build mine 4wd and 6sp
Dude sitting in the trunk should have been the vid thumbnail.
That trunk!!!!! And the parker pumper AC!!! OMG f**king LOVE THIS!!!
Best build yet on your show. Sorry Alex Navarro. Your to the moon is #2 now
Nah Alec is a friend of mine and his truck flat out just rips!!! My truck is a slowpoke lol
Love all these Toyota videos!! Keep up the rad content!! 🤙
Dude that's sick!! Love how he built that bed box/trunk space! Super rad!
Chinese Blue print 😂, awesome truck, dig it especially cause it’s 4x4🤘
HOLY MOTHER OF TACOS
This is an awesome truck!!
i have a question for travis. will you swap trucks please.
i have a 08 UK standard factory spec. single cab toyota hilux.
2&1/2 ltr d4d engine, 250,000+ genuine miles. some dents, scuff's &
no yield scars:). but an all round daily driver working girl pick up and
:). she has limited slip, 2, 4wd. 4hi & rear locker as stock. when she's not working she goes to the local super market, off pavement trailing, drifting etc. but all stock factory.
i'd hate to lose her but, you girl is so much prettier, has 4wd and looks more
fun hahahahahaha :) cool truck amigo do you wanna swap for a huey ?
please. :):):)
That's one Awesome Build & all the Cool accessories (chainsaw holder, tail gate with Paracord straps, storage box). Thank you for sharing
You had me at chainsaw mount.
Oh shit I'm in love with that rear trunk.
Freakin sweet thanks guys
I never get tired of taco builds and ranger builds im a taco guy but all taco guys know rangers mean business
Hercules Tacoma
Love it, please put the Toyota in the center. Lol my eyes keep moving it back. Hahah 🙌🏼🏁
Watched a second time...this is one of the greatest Tacomas done right.
Thanks! Learned ALOT building it over the years
Of course the helicopter mechanic is using safety wire for stitching his truck back together 😂😂😂 my dad was a helicopter mechanic and if you could put safety wire on it, he did lol
Lol heck ya! I got a ton of it kicking around and way more solid than zip ties
Woah. I'm in love! I'm curious what the plans are for the future. He said it needs more horse puppies so I imagine a LS or something? This guy doesn't seem scared of trying something new, so my vote would be a diesel! Maybe a OM606 or a R2.8? 😛
LS is gunna be the best bang for the buck i feel cause id like to keep the 4wd. Or a boosted 2L ecoboost
Very good Tacoma guys. I love it.
So rad
That's a second gen tacoma... its a rad buggy though.
Best taco build! Most entertaining 🤣
More Toyota’s 🏁
Awesome truck
Great video. 👍. Wicked build man. Out if control, So.. when can he build my 2nd gen for me...lol
Please do some shots of truck in action
Sick!
Well Done Travis! It was such a blast riding with you in that beast two years ago, some really serious dreams came true for you in the never ending build! We were hopping around the hills near your parents place on the roads after the fires was awesome! not withstanding something in the front suspension "Popped" up the mountain! But that is what zip ties are made for. greetings from Oz!
This is my favourite truck yet, great truck, cool builder, thanks for the video guys
how do you get the wheel alignment to hold on these trophy trucks? I have a 02 ranger and the alignment wont hold, but i also hit speedbumps at 60 km/h
All the factory adjustment cams have been removed and replaced with solid bolts and adjustments are done with hiem rod ends in some of the pivots...the only way the alignment gets out of whack is if something bends and or breaks basically. But gotta keep an eye on those hiems and uniballs as they are a wear item and need to be changed when they develop slop which translates to slop in the steering
Lol I've jumped my stock ranger and it's held alignment just fine
What did you mean by one of his racks? He makes upstaged racks?
Yes I modify late model tundra racks to fit into tacomas
@@basikbiker well shit!
I want to send you guys some pics of my real budget prerunner from Montana
Learning curve on a pie cut. No pun intended 🤣
Love ❤️ 💕 the rear bumper sticker👍🏻😍
Who tf dislikes this stuff
Nerfed hippies.
Dude 😮😮😮 like wtf 😮😮😮 This build is by far one of the coolest ones I’ve ever seen. It just has so much character and obviously the fact that he did it all is always an instant cool factor as well. Love that it’s a 6sp 👍 It def could use a bigger motor but that’s the only thing it could use. This guy is just a badass fabricator and his attitude towards his build and life in general is like super refreshing to see. Usually guys doing these builds act like they’re such a hard ass. Life is short, smile and mess around. That’s how I act too so it’s cool to know I’m not the only one. That tail gate and the way he can sit in the back is totally one of a kind and again just one of the lil things that makes the truck this truck so freaking badass!! The interior is also just perfect especially with the way he has his air hose set up with the stock air system. Also his front bumper, to engine, cab cage and bed cage look meticulously done and more than just done right. Just wanna day again super sick jerb bro 👍👍 I’ve got a 2000 AC Tundra that I’m slowly but surely building and seeing builds like yours just motivates me to keep going and also inspires me as well, so for that thank you bud 👍😎 Also f&cking badass job you have too! I grew up off the 166 more towards Pismo but as a kid we would go up to Pine Mountain in the winter to stay at this cabin and go sledding. Love that area in the mountains all around Mariposa 👍👍 Thanks for showing your build bro. Maybe I’ll see ya around until then. Drive safe and keep crushing those damn Hippies! 😆🤣 🤞
Awesome vid Ryan.
Thanks for the kind words brotha!
Son was brought up right! Usa baby!
Thanks I owe alot of knowledge from my dad rubbing off on me over the years applying it in my own way.
What’s up with that rack you didn’t get to explain?
So its a rack out of a 07 and newer tundra that I tear down and machine down to proper width for a tacoma and accept tacoma tierods...some minor fabrication of new mounts on the frame and it makes 37s feel like stock small tires...much stronger
@@basikbiker Do you happen to have a build thread anywhere? Your truck is awesome dude.
@@osktom7508 i do...over on tacomaworld.com if you lookup basikbiker on there you should find the thread
Love the vids
Can see you guys changed the camera, looking good, also nice taco
Had to use my big boy camera for this one. Not really ideal for vlogging, but it works!
Travis is a good dude. Always down to chat and does some mad scientist shit!
Thanks brotha!
25:37 The snickering sounds like Muttley the Dog!!!
This a bad ass build
Killer video of a Bad AZZ Truck….Nice going
🌪👊👊
I'm not really a tacoma fan that much but damn the stuff this guy has come up with are awesome, killer build!
Thanks dude
good shit yo
whats up with that white tundra in the background ? We need a episode on that!!
Thats Blackhat Studios future build
Awesome truck
Wow! That is one of the best builds I have seen.
2nd gen Tacoma?
That tow hitch receiver looks like yoda 🤣
Years of abuse - foos gone wild
The Tacoma owner is a true American.
What's the overall vehicle width, sidewall to sidewall?
92"
toyota guys and their manuals haha
Sweet ass ride……💪🏻🏁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
On lunch keeping up with these videos! 😎
This truck is siiccc.... I like all the innovative ideas. Keep it up.
Yo terra crew! Im iso a fiberglass glass front end for a 86 pickup.
Ivan iron man style if posible if anyone have a source for it.. central California.. cash in hand
I should go back and count all the air quotes. Lol
Badass truck!
Hah I like this guy
Homie needs to work on that front coil preload 😂
Yea...dont have coil slider stops on there...so it smashes the tender spring flat...really there isn't much preload on the main spring...is the setup ideal? No but it does what its supposed to....I'd like to go to a true dual rate setup ideally.
@@basikbiker it’s a sick truck, I was just joking around. The rest of the truck is pretty damn clean. I’ve got a raptor with a bedcage and some kings and it’s just not enough performance especially up front so I really want to learn some fab skills to go turn something else into a dedicated prerunner
@@IISevv no worries man! Truck was built on a budget on what I could and can afford at the given point in time...just trying to be informative to the comments is all...raptor is a good platform to build from! At the end of the day its about the smiles and thats what matters
I live on triangle rd seen this truck a few times and had questions I'm building an 02 tacoma
I'm over in lushmeadows off Pinetop dr.
@@basikbiker we should talk trucks sometime
@@michaelclinton349 ya sounds good
I love the 4wd
Good job 🎩
What's the owner's Instagram handle? Couldn't understand what he says in the video.
Basikbiker
How safe is it to daily a caged truck without helmets
Depends on cage layout....if your head can't hit a tube when your strapped in. Its fairly safe...is it the safest? No but same goes for driving old cars without airbags
@@basikbiker Thanks man. Looking to put one in my FJ. Have a fair amount of headroom. Need to find someone who knows what they’re doing to fab one.
@@user-ii8fz4sf6h yea tube placement is really important especially if your gunna daily it...cage saved my bacon a lil over a year ago but I wasn't belted in all the way and bonked my eyebrow in a rollover(rolled3 times) if your gunna drive fast highly reccomend a cage...shit will save your life
He makes his own steering racks?
Its a modified Tundra rack, solid setup
@@BrianReynolds84 Do you know where I can find details?
@@BrianReynolds84 I found the details on TacomaWorld. Are there any options for a 1st gen Tacoma or a 4th gen 4runner?
@@sam_s_ unfortunately not at this time the racks i modify only fit in 05-15 and with some more work the 3rd gen tacomas....was running into clearance issues between the rack and oil pan on the 4th gen runners
@@basikbiker Thanks for the reply.
How wide is that thing!?
Its about 92" outside of tire to tire
@@basikbiker that’s sick! How is it fitting something that wide through the trails/streets? I’m waiting on a long travel kit for my Dakota that’ll be 90-92” as well!
@@Al.Venture ah it fits most places...dont get me wrong tho its tight...rub both sidewalls on trees on some trails...but for the most part she fits
where can I purchase a front bumper, that's on the 4runner for 206 tacoma?
Great logging Heil
Love this truck
Is that Dwight
😳👍
Anyone know his instagram?
Front suspension build by " janky fab"😆
lol it aint "janky" what you build bud?
What's weird about terra crew followers and all videos.. every video put out never has the same people posting.. completely different people every video!! Is it fake?
Huh?...aint fake...
Our main hosts are James(obviously), Evan, and some times Morgan. We are all friends and each do our part to find guests and film them. If you’ve been watching our videos for a while then you should know that it’s mainly James that hosts the episodes.
Is their a echo?? I keep hearing the same thing twice 😅
Why do you have rock sliders????
4wd dude....for rocks...use em quite a bit...saves the rocker panels and helps reinforce the frame.
15:36 look at that jeep
Why bother lazer cutting?? It looks sketchy. Deffenitly back yard
Truck with lots more travel in rear handle incorrect
you have no idea what your talking about lol
You want lots of rear travel so the rear axle stays in contact with the terrain. It allows you to maintain traction and maintain speed
@@sebastianmuglia7451 exactly
lol have you ever seen a prerunner or trophy truck before ? They always have more travel in the rear, usually about 6 to 10+ inches difference from the front. They do so for the reasons theyve mentioned, basically the complete opposite of your comment lol. It keeps the ass end planted, and puts the power where you need it. Watch some more videos on vehicle suspension or prerunners and try to learn sometihng before commenting your assumptions.
DREAM TRUCK!!! HOLY SHIT!
This thing is sick
