Tiffany, honey PLEASE stay off the internet searches. If you have questions, please ask your doctor. I’m a retired dental hygienist and can tell you that you do not lose teeth because you’ve had a baby! You might, however, have your gums bleed or be extra sensitive, but just keep your teeth clean and you’ll be fine. Don’t brush hard, just often with an extra soft toothbrush. Better yet, use an electric toothbrush with a soft or extra soft head.
Oh dear. I’m sorry to tell you that my aunt actually did lose all her teeth when she had her baby, and she was only 17 years old. It was the most bizarre thing I ever heard of. This was way back in the 1940s in Oregon. I always believed it was because she didn’t take prenatal vitamins and had no prenatal care, but maybe the pregnancy kicked off some kind of undiagnosed autoimmune condition. Whatever the reason, her teeth started getting loose during the pregnancy and started falling out during postpartum. She had to get a full set of dentures by the time her baby was a few months old.
My grandma lost her teeth after pregnancy, but it was 1950, and surprise twins.

Says a 'technician' from the same Industry that encourages teeth stripping/cleaning by technicians in house, and/or the latest very harmful trend of, Teeth Bleaching . Obviously, one does not lose a tooth for each baby birthed.
The are having a baby .not going to the dentist!!!!!

Yep, I even stopped wearing jeans because I was afraid of putting any pressure on the baby. It was always a relief to get to 20 weeks
@beckyboo1433 Every time I felt a twinge in my back or belly, I was afraid that I was going to lose the baby. God is so good. After #3, we were told there would never be another. God had other plans, and #4 was born 8½ years later. None of us can imagine life without him!

Michaela is so much like momma Bates. Their warmth and their kindness are just pure blessings to anyone in their lives. I truly wish I had more women like that in my life; my Mimi was that woman for me but she passed and I miss her everyday. 😭🤍

@DianaMerrittHardin the other grandchildren are not spoilt or full of themselves, all the Bates children and their spouses gave done a great job as parents after all they have Gil and Kelly as role models.
I feel like the Bates raised their sons so well! Lawson does so well with being a calming, caring, and supportive husband.
I have to remind myself:
1) Faith and fear can't live in the same house❤
2) If God brings you to it, he'll bring you through it! 3) Nothing in God's world happens by mistake!
4) Fear =" F"alse "E" vidence "A" ppearing "R" eal!
5) God is bigger than any problem, any challenge!!

I had a baby after a miscarriage too and I could not stop worrying for the entire pregnancy. Which made me worry he was going to be affected by my stress. As soon as he was born I relaxed. He was chill and easy. You can’t help the feelings, please don’t blame yourself for worrying, and the baby’s personality is their personality no matter your emotional state while pregnant! All the best for a healthy pregnancy!
Well let’s hope & pray this Mom will as of now stop s t o p stressing. There is a peace and rest that comes from the Lord. Concentrate on Him & His promises. Do it!

The Bible teaches us to pray and trust the Lord. Sometimes it's hard because of the unknown. But we trust the Lord to take us to Heaven and He will take care of us here.

I'm curious 🤔 as why we haven't heard anything about Tiffany's mother's reaction.
The feeling of not believing you’re pregnant until you see the baby is understandable. After our miscarriage, I was also worried each time I felt a different sensation. We were so thankful that our baby was completely healthy and made it to full term.
So happy for you. I was never able to get pregnant. We adopted. I so appreciate being able to experience this with you and Lawson. Remember fear is a liar. Believing with you for a wonderful pregnancy and perfect baby by faith in Jesus name.
You do not lose teeth every pregnancy...God bless you & prayers for healthy baby...

Dr. Vick took care of me for all 8 of my pregnancies. He really is amazing. So thankful for a Christian doctor who is wise and intelligent. 😊💜
Michaela is such a treasure. My heart has prayed for her for years that she would be able to have a baby. It speaks volumes to the grace and love she has to still be able to celebrate with others when they share their good news of pregnancy while still not experiencing her own. It's not everyone that can do that.
Tiffany, I’m 79 years old and had four children. I’ve never had a miscarriage but I did lose my youngest at 14 years old. The best advice anyone can give you is if you want to Google something, Google Bible verses that encourage you, write down the ones that speak to your heart and then repeat them over and over when the enemy tries to scare you with his lies. Remember, he’s the father of lies…it’s what he does. Eve listened to him and you know how that ended. I’m so happy for you and Lawson and look forward to your little one’s arrival. ❤

Yes, morning sickness is a sign of a healthy pregnancy
I might be unusual, but I had absolutely no morning sickness and 2 healthy children.
I had two miscarriages back to back and now am 22 weeks pregnant
This pregnancy has come with so much anxiety!
I did have a lot of cramps at first which was scary
Something that helped me was just stopping when I had anxiety and thanking God for each moment I get with this baby
Remember it’s totally normal to be scared at each appointment
Praying for your pregnancy
Tiffany if you don’t stop stressing the baby will be one too to be very stressed. Stay in God’s word. I had 2 losses. The power of prayer 🙏🏻 Remember your words are very powerful!!!!! But God’s words are more powerful so use the authority God gave us !!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️

Tiffany, just remember to give all your anxieties to God. He never fails and is ALWAYS on time with your best interests. Trust Him. Also, you will feel pains as your body grows and ligaments stretch. I remember the anxiety feeling those changes with my first baby. You will come to a time when you're more relaxed and can begin to enjoy this time prior to meeting your new little addition to your family.
Poor Tiffany! Stay off of the internet. I remember having dreams of all my teeth falling out. They did not and they never did! I am so truly happy for you and Lawson. Those pregnancy harmony’s are no joke!

I had to have a specialist and he was thrilled when I was so so sick.
The sicker you are, the more pregnancy hormone you have. Absolutely amazing.

I worried my whole pregnancy. When the woory hit. I would stop, focus on my breathing, and then talk to God. The good news is I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Your nervousness is normal.

So as a mama of 4 (soon to be 5& an angel baby) let me just say there is ALWAYS something to worry about. First the heartbeat, then the kick count, then sids, and then making sure they don’t toddle into the road and so on, in fact my own father says it never stops as he still is concerned for his kids in their 20s and 30s. Life is fragile but a gift. Each day is a blessing and you love that baby and enjoy every stage! For each moment is a privilege. I tell myself sure something could happen but i will cherish the moments i get! Try my best and leave it in the Lord’s hands❤️ or else i would go crazy with worry! Motherhood is the most complicated yet rewarding job I’ve ever done! Congratulations on your new bundle!

Listen to Mama Bates. I lost a baby at 4 months but then went on to have 3 beautiful babies. It IS so hard to not live in fear almost the entire time with your Rainbow baby, but don't let that fear take over. Enjoy this blessing to the fullest. I am so very very happy for you and yes, it IS the work of the Lord. May God bless you both and have his precious hands on this baby. We pray a wonderful blessing and a happy and healthy baby delivered in July! 💓
Oh Tiffany, I felt so sorry for you when you were laying in bed. You don't lose a tooth for every baby you have. If you take your pre-natal vitamins, you will be just fine. Don't take anything extra unless the Dr. tells you too. Those vitamins have everything you and that baby needs. :)

Tiffany, I believe, with all my heart, that you have the ABSOLUTE BEST Mother-in-Law in the world! ❤ When God blessed you with Lawson as your husband, I fully believe that He knew you would need a MAGNIFICENT, and the BEST, MIL, and so along with Lawson, God blessed with you with Mama Bates!!! 😊 She is ALWAYS there for ALL of her children, just being there for whatever they need and whenever, and now she does the EXACT same with ALL of her children’s spouses!!! I don’t know how she does it or has the energy, but from ALL I’ve seen and heard, she is EXTREMELY close to EVERY one of her children. EVERY ONE of her children is “her favorite”! She has that unique and special ability to be there, take care of ANY need, and MOST of all, fills them with PURE LOVE!!! NOW she does it for her “In Law” Children!!! Trust God, Lawson, YOUR parents, and Mama Bates AND Papa Bates too!!! He’s a one of a kind too!!!

To Tiffany’s comment about Michaela YES!! She is truly incredible! I have witnessed MANY friends and family members who will completely sever ties from anyone who has kids or is pregnant when they are in a season of longing for children. I get it, it’s hard, I’ve been there. BUT Michaela has been on this journey for nearly a decade (if not longer?) and she doesn’t merely accept that her siblings are having children she CELEBRATES IT! She is an ACTIVE participant in their lives! She watches her siblings kids and even helps plan/put on the baby showers! It would be SO easy for her to be angry or jealous to watch her siblings journey but she truly does have such a peace about her. I pray the Lord blesses them with a child, she truly is selfless!
Don't allow yourself to stress or get upset. My body uses those 2 negatives to reject and I've miscarried before because of it more than once. I am praying for a healthy pregnancy for you!! ❤

I love this family Mrs. Bates is right after a loss of a first child you are so scared when you get pregnant again but the reassurance of hearing the heart beat and seeing your baby makes it so much more at ease.. I agree with the cautionary advice to not totally rely on the Internet for your pregnancy advice! I did have implantation bleeding and several cramping worries when the round ligaments that top the uterus were stretching. Yes, I panicked from lack of knowledge; but, I prayed and left it in God's Hands. My mother lost 6 babies to miscarriages and it was natural to assume I might follow in her footsteps. Both of my sons were successfully carried, delivered safely and are fathers themslves in their 40s! ❤❤❤
Lawson and Tiffany, turn it over to God and He will take care of it. He will carry the load and see you both through it.

Can I just say I had tears in my eyes. Those precious children in the hospital so sick at Christmas still manage to smile, sing and be joyful! God bless them, their families and Lawson for bringing song to them! Praying for continued health for Tiffany and baby!🙏
I love this for you. I have 6 babies in heaven and 4 on earth. Make sure due to her small size that she takes protein shakes. It will boost baby weight and health. Prenatal vitamin is a must. Folic, calcium, and iron extra. Love and light to both of you. Can't wait to see a beautiful new Bates Baby

Mother's instinct . You do what your gut tells you. We brought all ours home and no one but us were there overnight . Some day visits but 95% of the time we nailed it. Instinct.not advice . Thankful we didn't have internet back in the 70s. Parents now a days are scared to try it on their own.. hubby went to work the following day after we got home with each (4). It's not hard, change, feed, burb..little later add tummy time. Back then we put them on their tummy to sleep. No choking on spit up. Light small blanket. No toys or pillows. And we didn't wrap them they moved freely in a gown or one piece jammy.
Relax..... Enjoy this journey....

Congratulations! Enjoy all of the pregnancy. The morning sickness they say is a good sign. I just had my second baby in January and was sick the entire time. Prayers for a smooth pregnancy
With my first I had never heard of round ligament pain and really didn't expect pain so sharp and it scared me to death.
Also by babies 2 and 3 I went out of my way to find a pro idea that made me comfortable, even if I was frightened and asking tons of questions - find the provider that makes you feel at ease. Don't just settle!
Also don't stop exercising! Even if it's walking daily. It makes labor and recovery so much easier!
