- For us, I Love You Day is one of the most meaningful days of the year!!! This year the theme was “Little House on the Prairie.” Leading up to the actual day, many, many hours of preparation went into costumes and props for this fun theme. In preparation for the party, this episode shows highlights of Michaela sewing several prairie dresses for our nieces, as well as Judson and Jeb helping us build a wagon prop. We also have highlights from the party day itself, a time filled with laughter, games, catching up, and creating memories to last a lifetime!
A huge thank you to my parents for all that they do to make each moment together memorable and meaningful! I am so incredibly grateful for the family that God has given me!
I can't help but wish that I had Michaela for a sister and that my children were blessed to have her for an aunt. The whole Bates family is really special, but Michaela is extra special!❤❤❤ Brandon, you are a treasure also! Can someone from the Bates family adopt me?? 😉😆❤

Michaela and Brandon should make one episode where they go down to the grandparents house and interview and record questions . That way when the time comes and they can be there anymore all the families will have a CD to have . What a truly blessing it is to have your grandparents.

I couldn't help but think about what a crown of glory the kids and grandkids are to not only your parents but grandparents. Such a heritage of God's faithfulness! I grew up on Laura Ingall's Wilder books and wore little house on the prairie dress to school until the first grade (metal lunch pail included). You've inspired me to start watching that series over again at 54. What memories you have instilled in their little hearts by making them those precious outfits. You both are such treasures to your families.

I get so excited when y’all have your ILoveYou Day Party.All the costumes you made came out awesome and Brandon’s wagon was really great. I sewed for ballet companies and dance studios for years. Solo costumes were always my favorite because I could use my own ideas for embellishments. Everyone at the party looked like they had a really fun time. Kelly Jo is an amazing person.
