We love sharing with our exciting milestones with Baby B! Addallee Bates comes to spend time with us for our monthly baby checkup only to be trapped inside our house by a massive storm! We also get our baby blood tests to find out if we are having a cowBOY or cowGIRL! As tears flow with the excitement of new life, we can’t help but praise the Lord for every checkup! Then it’s off to East Tennessee to visit the Stew Crew (Carlin [Bates] and Evan Stewart) as we “steal their clothes” and Layla, for another hectic adventure!

From someone who lives in the snowbelt, always clean off your vehicle (windows, mirrors, lights, hood) before moving your vehicle..
Yes! Totally not safe. Also clean off the roof of your vehicle. No one likes seeing chunks of snow and ice flying off the roof of vehicles when you're driving behind them.

A blizzard is blowing snow with whiteout conditions. It doesn't need to be actively snowing for it to be a blizzard. You should have a car snow emergency kit. Blankets, matches, bottled water, snacks and kitty litter. Litter is for your under tires if you get stuck. Life long Minnesota resident been thru it all
You guys should keep electric blankets on hand in those situations..Can't wait to see ya'll baby..

My daughter's heartbeat was in the 160's and my boys were in the 140's...I believe it's a girl! I cried with Tiff...such a special time❤
I'm with Tiff and thinks you're having a girl! Our rainbow baby was a girl, and she is now 47 years old. Pregnant women normally get emotional, but I know that I was extra emotional during my rainbow baby pregnancy because I worried so much.....and rightfully so. AC units (heat pump) don't work in extreme cold temps - they are not for areas that want heating in snow conditions - if you had a full ducted central heating system then that would work if the unit was in the basement - you did the right thing and everyone else is having the same problem which is why there were no heaters left - thank goodness they found a couple out back - Keep that baby warm Tif

The NWS defines a blizzard as snowfall while there are also higher than 35 mph winds. Alongside this it has to last three hours or more. What makes the blizzard unique is the wind as a blizzard without high wind is not a blizzard at all. Love Y'ALL ❤

Hey guys!! Tiff, they sell those Doppler things on Amazon, I bought one for my daughter when she got pregnant, and we listened to that baby all the time!! They are not terribly expensive, I can’t remember but it was under $100, the best money I ever spent!! It’s just awesome to listen to that little person whenever you want!!!

After a miscarriage with my first i bought one to hear my daughter whenever i wanted just to ease my anxiety. It truly helped me be at peace during pregnancy. I highly recommend it!

It’s also easy to get obsessive though and worry when you don’t need to … so balance all the factors. Trust that you are doing and your DRs are doing all possible.

I think you need more than a month of food supply and a way to cook it if your cooking source goes out. No briquets in the house. Be careful of propane in the house but there is an indoor propane heater for emergencies. Things to look into. Some areas have ended up without power for more than a month. Look into freeze dried foods. And plenty of water. Fill your tub with water for flushing if necessary. We kept gallons of water on hand because when our power went out, so did the well.

In a blizzard you can’t see. There are high winds and snow blowing it causes a white out. Also, a blizzard dumps inches to feet of snow in a very short time. Snow storms can be bad but nothing like a blizzard.

We had this same storm down here in Huntsville Alabama. I’m from Idaho and I tell you this was a big one. There are no snow plows here, really no way to get rid of the snow. What was worse was it snowed, melted and then the temperatures dropped. The roads were pure ice. Our work was cancelled for a week because the roads were impassable. I tried to go out to pick up a prescription but couldn’t even make it to my car because I slipped on the ice just trying to get to my car. This from someone who never missed work because of snow when I lived in Idaho. So any northerners who say they are the professionals in the snow, really don’t see the whole picture

Huntsville here too. I’ve been here since last October, moved from New Jersey and am ready to go back. I’ve never in my 70 years seen such bad drivers as in Alabama. They can’t drive in the rain, snow or really any kind of weather, good or bad. When the weather is so bad and they tell you to stay home, off the road or that only essential emergency workers are allowed on the roads ~ STAY HOME! Since that storm they’ve closed school twice because they thought a storm was coming. Nothing happened. Nothing came even close to happening. Nothing. I can predict the weather better than the so called Meteorologists here.

Hey Lawson,,, It's a Girl !!! Lol 😅 ......J/K. Praying for a healthy delivery and a healthy baby. I got Paralysed by the Epidural Shot during my delivery to my Son ( 2nd Baby) He is ok now but has had his share of problems. His left eye was Paralysed and he screamed and cried non stop for his 1st yr. And pretty much also the 2nd year too. Dr.s did not admit that they messed him up either. It was ashame. He also couldn't drink formula. We switched it 3 times. He would throw up every time. He was a year old before he could eat rice cereal, etc. ( Food that a 6 month old starts on .........Probably 4 months bowdays .)

Lawsons pancakes, lol. The secret is patience, a preheated skillet, not too much oil in pan, cook on medium low, only turn when you see plenty of bubbles. But kudos on the snow driving safety.

That wasn't her actual ultrasound. They lost the pictures and used Carlin's ultrasound of Layla. We don't know the gender yet.

I bought something similar to the doplar when I was pregnant. My baby just turned 18 but I’m sure they have come a long way. Mine had an option to talk and sing to the baby. I did it EVERY day! Enjoy every moment of pregnancy even the tough ones! ❤

As a northern Wisconsin girl we drive in that everyday, every winter. But I can see it being scary when you’re not used to it!
My daughter lives a few miles from Tiffany and Lawson…yes they got snow, school was closed for about a week but it wasn’t in any way a blizzard…you have to be prepared for anything in the Nashville area and outlining areas too…
Always sweep ALL of the snow off the hood of your vehicle.
Roof as well.
