@9:56 *"Bring me fresh material"* - Isaac _instantaneously_ forging night creatures out of the corpses of the Genoan guard didn't distract from how hilarious it was that the Captain immediately cast off the port w/o resting or re-supplying his ship cuz he already knew what was abt to go down 💀
I know a lot of people are saying that the guards that Isaac met are idiotic for not allowing him to pass through peacefully, but Aaron and Rick do make a point that the guards really can't take a chance given the armada Isaac possesses. In addition, to my memory I don't remember if Isaac made the same promise to the captain of not having his night creatures attack the town. In regards to Hector's distaste for humanity, it mainly came from his parents despising him for his ability of reanimating animals due to it being unnatural, leading to him burning their house down with his parents in it. PS. Cho died from being frozen into ice by Sypha and smashing her into bits. When Sumi and Taka left for their journey, they did not know that Cho already died by the point they met Alucard.
Still, you don't engage an enemy who is not showing hostility. Escort them out at spear point, ask if they can get the civilians a safe distance away. Idiots are people who take action without plans. What exactly was Guards' plan? Wing it against the army and hope they win? Didn't even have archers at the ready.
It was related to Hector and his hell-puppy, but Dracula made a valid point that any parent would be nervous about their kid making a literal hellhound. I believe that same point applies here.
I honestly don't blame Isaac for his hatred of humanity but he needs to understand that he can't blame humans either for acting logical in stopping a complete stranger *WITH A HORDE OF MAN EATING MONSTERS FOLLOWING HIM* from entering their territory. I will give it to him that he acts calm and tries to be reasonable at first, but man he truly is clueless.
The guards could have had their Spears aimed as they escorted them out of the city. The fact that the demons didn't attack the city immediately like every other time in this series and that Issac asked to be let through should have alerted the guard leader. Demons have been raiding towns with a almost perfect win record. What chance does average guards have against demons.
@@blueblade6174 And threatening the demon army is better? The captain showed what to do when you have no power to stop someone has all the power: negotiate. Issac wins no matter what the difference is that there was a possibility of a town not being slaughtered. The possibility of a backstabbing also means there's a possibility of more survivors making out alive.
@8:08 I get Hector aint ask for freedom cuz he clearly wouldn't get it but i'm kinda curious why instead of *"shoes"* he didn't ask for medical attn, regular showers, bread w/o maggots or even a bed up off the floor...
*"i have no interest in faith, this is commerce"* - I've only seen up till this ep and Lenore's charm offensive for gaining Hector's loyalty, i'd argue, still requires _'faith'_ becuz there's no guarantee they'll do what they say or that the sister's won't betray him later. Whether she admits it or not, Lenore's acting like Dracula, she's lying to his face by omission and just like Dracula, they hold all the power...
@Joe G Nothing ever "gotta" be anything and nothing is ever "requisite", we humans just pretend otherwise. Negotiation happens when two parties agree to let it happen. Also, we're contradicting ourselves when we say "A conversation must be between two people or when it's not you need more than two people." In other words, Lenore could (in a hypothetical scenario) have all the power but chooses to negotiate with Hector anyway because of other factors (e.g. if Carmilla dares her to turn him without turning to hypnosis, torture etc.). And negotiation where bad faith (duplicity) is involved (e.g. Lenore gets Hector to agree to speak with her again in exchange for shoes and then, whoops, the shoes are magic if you put them on by your free will and he now can't be disloyal to her) is still negotiation.
if that's the case, those tactics just lying and deception, making her no different than Dracula which was my original point. i'd argue this aint a negotiation at all, more like manipulation. I think Lenore wants her pet human, Hector to believe it is so he'll be more agreeable becuz you dnt "negotiate" with pets, you tame them

Honestly the weakest part of this season is the Alucard sidestory. Cho apperently was a badass Vampire well sad we never knew in season 1 and 2 shows that this wasnt planned at all
@6:07 *"my **_idiot_** servant"* - Sypha's constant denigration of Trevor is getting annoying. they share the same goals, he consistently has her back and lets her call most of the shots yet she talks down to him just cuz his methods dnt always fall in line with hers 😒

I saw it more as a ruse. They are trying to stay undercover in that town as much as possible. Trevor even prevented Sypha from using their real names towards the beginning of the season. By calling him "my idiot servant", Sypha is masking their true identities to try to persuade the cultists to let down their guards and let something of their mission slip. Of course she's the one who slips up first by losing her cool and revealing tricks of her own people. Good try though.
@@heatherstock4973 - you say 'they' but if her mission was to 'stay undercover' why stand up talking while Trevor tried using stealth to gather intel & why even suggest asking those clearly fanatical priory dudes directly? i think becuz keeping a low profile was always Trevor's tactic but when she stopped agreeing, she just decided to do things her way, mid-mission and that's how they got caught

NGL Isaac is the best character in this show now!! Im very excited for u to get to the end. The last couple episodes blew me away
Cho died. Sypha killed her. Sumi and Taka are staying to train with alucard
And then some.
So the pen and paper Is pointless then
Blind Wave: *coming up with theories about Alucard, Sumi and Taka*
Me (who has already completed the season): *laughs nervously*
“He tried to do some choking and she wasn’t into it.” LMAO I love their recaps.
And I MISS GODBRAND TOO DOGGONE IT.
I also miss him he died to soon
