Oh, it totally is. Only a couple of major events have happened in the whole series so far. Most of this show has been about setting everything up, and been more focused on character-driven storytelling.
@Nick Fletcher. I don't normally go into making predictions, but here's what I've got so far: 1. It's pretty obvious at this point, but Isaac will likely attack Styria in order to get revenge on Camilla and Hector. Two birds, one stone. Not sure how I expect this attack to end, but I expect at least Hector, Isaac, and Camilla to make it out alive. 2. Alucard for a short time may carry on in isolation, and he'll probably spiral a bit more into his dark side, I expect we'll delve more into the relationship he actually had with each of his parents, and perhaps other humans before his mother's death. 3. After how things ended in Lindenfelt, I expect Trevor and Sypha will just go off the grid. No more monster-hunting, no more "adventuring". At least until someone or something convinces them to get back into it again. Trevor will only want to sit around and drink, and Sypha will probably spend some time brooding. 4. Hector will break free from his cursed ring, and will join Trevor and Sypha as a reluctant ally. 5. Saint Germain will at some point return, and will play a more important role in future conflict - mainly involving Hector. 6. Knowing this franchise, Dracula will probably be resurrected, and it will likely be by Isaac's hand. 7. At some point towards the end of this series, I expect Death will appear as a physical character. In some form, he will have some mutually-beneficial connection with Dracula, even if they don't interact at all. 8. Oh, and Sypha will have to be treated by Dr. Arnold Rimmer and Mr. Flibble. Because she's insane.
@@mitchellhayward6492 If number 6 happens the way you predict, then I'd like for Dracula to kill Isaac in an act of rage for ripping him apart from his wife once more. Thereby ending Isaacs journey in a tragic betrayal .
@Hans Schmid Looking at the relationship Dracula had with Isaac in Season 2, I don't think Dracula would do that to him. Isaac was the closest thing Dracula had to a friend when his wife died. He would probably be angry, sure, but I doubt he would outright kill him.
@@DeathKnight5608 Well I was more thinking of a reaction out of blind rage, maybe lashing out at Isaac without the intention to kill him. Know what I mean?
@9:12 *"my gift, given freely"* - appreciated the fact Captain called out Isaac's myopic worldview and challenged him to use his gifts and natural leadership qualities to teach mankind a better way instead of continuing Dracula's _'long way round'_ suicide mission of wiping them out
this is a small thing but 4:19 she didn't say she was a magician before I believe she just said she was a speaker and not all speakers use magic she is the only one in her specific group that can use magic. so had no reason to know she was a magician.
*"vampires, you like to play with your food"* - i haven't seen any eps. past this one but even tho Hector got bodied, at least he tried escaping and quickly caught onto the fact that everything Lenore does is part of a manipulation since he knows they're only keeping him alive so they can use him. that brutal beatdown, if anything, tells him where he stands in her eyes.
I absolutely love their thought processes on all of this, and it makes me extremely excited to see about what they think as things develop because of how they're picturing everything now.
Well yeah. She got mad at her doggie for acting up, she asserted herself as the alpha, but still wants him to be taken care of like a good owner would. At least, that's what I imagine her thought process being. With a bit of "I can hurt you badly if I want but I'm choosing not to. I'm the rational one here and am still willing to provide even after that outburst because that's how much I want this to work/how minor of a threat that actually was to me." Even when Hector has a little badass moment, he's immediately bitched out. lol Honestly, one tweak I would have made to that scene is when Lenore is choking him, he gurgles out "do it." As if he was hoping his stunt could get him out but, more than likely, he could achieve vampire captor-assisted suicide by making her angry enough to be put out of his misery. It wouldn't have been much, but that little bit of defiance and agency even for the moment I feel could've helped him, instead of just getting strung along on another leash this season.
@Ryan Moore Yeah, a thing I've heard from someone is that this Hector is not the supposed badass he is in the games. I'm not familiar with all the Castlevania lore, so I'm not bothered by it.
only watched up till this ep but in that situation, i feel like the _"peaceful, diplomatic"_ vamp that's the most dangerous. like Lenore said, the other sisters will mercilessly attack Hector's body but her mission clearly is getting inside his head
i know the risks, i'm choosing to view eps at Blindwave's reaction schedule then commenting my thoughts as i go since s1, it's more fun for me that way but appreciate it ✌️
Now that you teased us, Rick, we expect some flying goat demons shooting burning turds in one of the upcoming D&D episodes! Great reaction, lads, I'm really looking forward to the next one, and especially 'The Harvest'! :D
I keep waiting to see Hector's redemption arc that leads to a storyline that's similar to Curse of Darkness where he was the protagonist you played as.
I think he will simply be the vampire quartet's tool for a season which ends with him simply walking toward a town, completely unaware Isaac knows he is somewhere in Styria.
@@Mansplainer2099-jy8ps I can see that. I think I also remember his own forged beast also attacking him in the manga explaining his backstory before the Curse of Darkness game took place.
@@TheMadhatter1313 It doesn't mention that in the wiki, it mentions a werewolf attack and Isaac unseen letting him live in peace for years so he can find some happiness so he can take it away.
*"Belnades and Belmont"* - Sypha acts like she running her team-up with Trevor but he was performing self-less acts and saving towns in s1 for his own reasons. Sypha likes to tease Trevor abt his stoicism but i think he keeps his guard up as a tactic to gauge other ppls motives becuz his family been ruthlessly persecuted in the past by the world they once protected besides, constantly wearing your heart on your sleeve like Sypha does can be dangerous
Joe G the ones things that I really can’t stand about Sypha is how arrogant and cocky she acts. She thinks she is smarter than everyone, the leader, and stronger. That’s a no go
non spoilers but just a heads up. certain point in the later episodes you might wanna do some heavy editing or else youtube will go block mode. not gonna say which is it but you will eventually see it and know what to block/cut out in the reaction.
I don't know why but I want to see what it would look like if instead of Hector they had the Joker or a Joker like person in his place. They really couldn't do anything to him to break him.
When Trevor called Sypha insane and she still kept her smile I interpreted that as the story subtly being serious about it. Perhaps that hit she tanked from Dracula knocked a few screws loose.

My boy Hector can't get a break, except on his bones and pride
i've only watched up till ep 3 but at this rate, by the time Isaac reaches Styria there might not be anything left of Hector to kill
Joe G Isaac won’t be killing Hector my g, they won’t do that
Joe G I see them redeeming hector and him becoming what he is supposed to be
I'm trying to predict whether Aaron will find the end of the Lenore/Hector story line horrifying or his ultimate fantasy.
Horrifying.
Captain. Is. The. Best. Character.
This seasons feels like a big set up, but boy is so interesting to watch.
