To anybody new trying to do this combo ima give you a tip. If the buttons you're trying to hit are right next to each other, just drag your thumb across rather than tapping each button. I play on Xbox and rather than tapping y x and y to use the combo I just drag my thumb fast across y x and y again. Makes it much easier since you don't have to rapidly move your thumb as much

g greg nah not really. Liu Kang is a character who gets everything with something. Some people always go for 12 backdash then get punished for poking. Others get caught by f4 stagger or f43 low fire ball. And almost all of them get caught by b124 low fire ball
@@deniswalczak8577 i do throws after f4 to mix opponent or shaolin stance then i finish it to catch them also some 343 212 and b234 but doing to much mind games with f4 or f3 is not that effective on grandmaster rank also i must test if 343-low fireball counts as a combo

It was cool of you to include switch users in the beginning if the video. I have both xbone and switch versions so i already knew, but it was something i appreciated that i noticed other guides don't necessarily do.
Anyone else wish Forward+2 just didn't exist? Rarely do I ever need to use the move and it always just gets me punished/uppercutted since I meant to dial in This Will Hurt or use my command grab but it uses that move instead...
Its really tricky but someone else commented saying to just slide your fingers on it instead of letting go of the buttons. It works all the time now for me!

I'm having an issue where when I use the time has come, the third hit doesn't go through. Pretty sure it's because the enemy is a bit too high and I might be going to fast but I don't know how to fix the timing.

MK 11 has the least responsive touchiest controller of ANY modern video game. This has been very helpful to me I had not been feeling liu kang for a long time and this opened up a lot I did not see Thanks!
So I just got this game cause I really wanted to get into fighting games, trying to learn Liu Kang rn but I can't string Time Has Come with Dragon's Breath. I can do the first combo fine but I can't do the dash into Time Has Come, I'm pressing the buttons as fast as I can but it doesn't work for me.. any advice on this?
Yeah didn’t help at all nd when he explains the possible problems with it he leaves out the fact the time has come is impossible to do nd when I do get it off it won’t stop nd does the full combo
How do I leave out that the Time Has Come is impossible to do 🤣 I didn’t have any issue at all when doing it. It all has to do with having to know how to dash perfectly to get the best juggle on your opponent. “Dial in strings” seems to not be the best fit for you in a character.
@@kingbanksss nah liu kang has too many blockable moves while he can't block for next to nothing. Also half the characters can outspeed his hits and gave easier combos to pull off
Same. With any of the corner combos the first 2 moves are fine, but when I try and go from the second move into the 123 (twin lotus) it doesn't input for me
You must be new to fighting games. Tell me, if I were to put PlayStation; Xbox; Switch, and PC; how would that fit into the screen? It wouldn’t. And Symbols? You know how long a symbols will take to edit that in. That’s individual buttons I will have to make for them. Put them in a third layer format and then make them for each combo. Which takes forever. This is just much easier and honestly does not alienate any platform. I’ve done symbols before for Guilty Gear one one of my videos or recently for King of Fighters and take about weeks to get it done. That’s why no one does symbols.

also is very punishable and doesn't have overhead (not mentioning nunchuck stance and shortchop). Overall strong and fun to play character

All you have to do is equip low fireball with dragons gifts and dragon fire. That’s how I take on characters that use range like katana etc.

Try to do SFV combos and youll see what is least responsive, one tenth of a milisecond wrong and your combo is gone
