For those who play with Joy-Sticks on Pad, I recommend to switch to D-Pad *WHEN DASHING* If your more comfortable with the Joy-stick, I'm not asking you to switch entirely, just when performing the dash-cancel in the middle of a combo. I also only use Joy-stick, but when playing characters like V2 Spawn or Jax, I still use Joy-stick for the most part, but just for Dash-Cancelling I switch to D-Pad for a second.

Quod X XD I think you are talking about the special move cancel? Not necessarily a dash cancel. Like scorpion he can cancel a special move to mix people up. Or play defensively. But if you can’t combo off it, then it’s not a dash cancel it’s a special move cancel

I need some serious help, I couldn’t even do the Shao Kahn kombo. Like I can do kombos that don’t require any dashing, but once dashing is involved I crumble
Dude same here. I have been trying to use Shao Kahn for weeks and I still can’t do dash cancels with him. I am really thinking of quitting the game because of it.
I'm new to games since I had Brain cancer and I short circuit now and for some reason I start fine then automatically go in to button mashing any way to bust this I assume its a stress trigger for new learning again but your explanation just watching has reduced anxiety even for a game that has survived so many years of evolution. But I started with JC and will add Joker and practice the DC and FBDC and update here to support the comments. BTW thx for your channel.
Awesome video as this is a concept that is widely under explained in combo videos! You definitely deserve more subs. I suggest doing more "5 Reasons to Main." It's such a great concept.

One of the reasons why i didn't continue the series was because it didn't turn out to be popular, also got demonetized which I was not a fan of. Made all that work gone and most likely was not recommended to people. But ill definitely consider bringing it back.
I was able to do all this combos(maybe not very consistently) after spending about an hour and a half in training, but I still can barely imagine how is it possible to do consistantly even the easiest sub zero rising ice combo, soo damn hard for me, I spent a lot of hours in training trying to do this combo and only occasionally I was able to do it. Can someone explain me how is it possible?
I've heard a guy say that you must dial in the dash before the las move you did finishes and then you attack mid dash but it didn't work. Right now with Spawn I get the dash pretty inconsistently cause I noticed that it is not before Charging Hellspawn finishes but in the exact moment it finishes and I fail on the timing sometimes. Where would you qualify Spawn in the range of difficulty between those 3 characters you just talked about?
@@binitkumarsarangi5880 Gravity timing? I dont know what you mean. Every combos juggles differently. Its impossible to explain using 1 combo. You will need to learn different execution timing for every character and not just every character but depending on the combo used. Most of the time you learn these just by praciting and building muscle memory. Trial and Error helps you figure out the timing for each combo

The timing is a little strange, you just need to press kick right before cross the head. Just imagine a vertical line on your opponent. If you continue to not able to perform it, I recommend doing the alternative easier option that does not include that kick

Very good topic but i feel like its easy to find them which does not need a video. Characters like Scorpion who has a teleport, Erron Black can obsorb and counter projectiles, Sub Zero ice ball can trade and win against zoners, and Raiden has a teleport, Terminator and Nightwolf can easily obsorb projectiles. Shang Tsung has her ninja counter projectile. Sheeva can stomp zoners etc
I saw Skarlet, King Lao, Liu Kang, Kitana and Shao Khan cancel their fatal blow ONLINE. That's why in here. This fkd up cause I know Johnny and The Joker have that by default, but wtf are the others doing??? It was not logging nor anything. Also Skarlet literally started the fatal blow but stopped, TELEPORTED AND Tried to finish it....

There are people out there that do. You don't have to question it. I had plenty of people claiming why i didn't include their button notation. The same as PC players.
Gauzy fairly easy actually. I use the joy stick and are still able to do dash cancel kombos. It’s fairly easy once you get it down, on both the d-pad and joystick.
You nessesarly have to do a dash cancel for his combos, but the timing will be tricker tho. The only variation is downburst that I know of the others I have not tried it tho

FINALLY I have been waiting for this, sometimes I have problems doing the dashes in combos
After 2 hours and a half, I was finally able to use the combo at a fairly consistent rate.
I think I'm gonna need the 2-3 hours as well, because it doesn't go very well...😁
