It wasn't even close. And yet he kept picking her over and over again. Lost 5 in a row and then switched to Kitana, after he won he was locked with her, so SF counterpicked him again picking the same Jade he beat easily with Cetrion on winner's final. Checkmate

@@marlitoworld3925 brother mustard even said this character is a good counter to cetrion in the match, Johnny's fireball being 9 frames means because it's so fast it's going to win the trade with some projectiles against cetrion and stop her from using her Boulder toss because it's start up is to slow from full screen, the only thing cetrion can do as a response is far or very far puddle and you have too make a decision of which one and if you choose wrong then he gets a meter burn forceball, you can block but because he's so plus from full screen he gets another without you being able to do anything, this essentially shuts down cetrion zoning from full screen and forces her to play mid screen to up close range where Johnny beats her at that as well, because from mid screen to up close the only option she has loses to Johnnys bigger ranged advancing buttons, he also has a safe special that jails off of pokes, so yes outtake Johnny is a hard counter to cetrion because he stops her from doing what she wants to do as a character and forces her to play a way that benefits his play style more than hers
Sonic fox is like the god of mortal kombat and every opponent facing him can clearly be seen living through a nightmare. Yet sonic is so respectful i have never seen him disrespecting anyone and almost always in a happy mood. Qualities rarely found in gamers.

I can't remember the first time I saw SonicFox but damn does he never fail to entertain. I wish I was as good as these guys. I'm sure if I practiced enough I'd be decent.
As soon as Dragon finally switched fighters. SonicFox's Johnny Cage had no chance but they couldn't switch until they lost with Johnny. When they lost, Jade came out and it was GGs.
Except dragon would have won if he switched to katana after the first loss on the reset, beating johnny with her, then when fox switches back to jade and jade beats dragons katana, dragon then switched back to Centron and would have beaten jade. Giving him the win Dragon lost here because of counter picks and because he didnt switch to her earlier.
The commentator that’s literally calling out every move quickly that’s going on is pretty good. I mean personally I haven’t seen many who call things to that level from what I have watched in all games. I only see that deep analysis with strategy/card games.
I thought Ninjakilla would've done better against Sonicfox this tournament, but I guess I can't be too surprised, Sonic ain't the Goat in MK for no reason! And I think Dragon mentally accepts defeat before the match even starts with Sonicfox!
Ninjakilla actually played much better than sonicfox. Sonic managed to bring it back and close to the end just like dragon, ninjakilla cracked. Started making bad moves. Dragon raw jumped at the start of one round like he wasnt playing against sonicfox lol and ate a full combo. Ninjakilla lost because of a dash in the last round. He had a big life lead and could have zoned or anything because sonic used all his resources trying to open him up but failed. Instead ninjakilla dashes forward and eats a whole fatal blow combo lol I'm just like ok. Maybe it's just me but yall be tripping in the really important moments. Dragon obviously should have picked up or practiced against johnny cage. He obviously has the best zoning hands down without even having a teleport which means he is actually busted but anyway. If the roles were reversed, sonicfox would have picked up johnny quick. Instead he's the only one using him laughing because everyone else is too dumb to see he's broken. If NRS grand finals was just 2 johnny cages throwing fireballs, people wouldn't watch it and they would fix that crap but I guess we stuck with it now

Honestly, Dragon is an amazing player. I think he's second best MK11 player currently after SONICFOX . He's taken 2nd about 3 times now. I put him above Ninjakiller who's won like just one tournament. It's unfortunate that he cannot find an answer for SONICFOX.

It’s impressive how Dragon takes his time to think during the rematch screen. I feel like most players keep fighting because of pressure and mental adrenaline. Not sure if there’s a time limit but regardless of that Dragon has true professional sense of playing.

As soon as Dragon finally switched fighters. SonicFox's Johnny Cage had no chance but they couldn't switch until they lost with Johnny. When they lost, Jade came out and it was GGs.

Except dragon would have won if he switched to katana after the first loss on the reset, beating johnny with her, then when fox switches back to jade and jade beats dragons katana, dragon then switched back to Centron and would have beaten jade. Giving him the win

The commentator that’s literally calling out every move quickly that’s going on is pretty good. I mean personally I haven’t seen many who call things to that level from what I have watched in all games.
I only see that deep analysis with strategy/card games.
I thought Ninjakilla would've done better against Sonicfox this tournament, but I guess I can't be too surprised, Sonic ain't the Goat in MK for no reason! And I think Dragon mentally accepts defeat before the match even starts with Sonicfox!

Ninjakilla actually played much better than sonicfox. Sonic managed to bring it back and close to the end just like dragon, ninjakilla cracked. Started making bad moves. Dragon raw jumped at the start of one round like he wasnt playing against sonicfox lol and ate a full combo. Ninjakilla lost because of a dash in the last round. He had a big life lead and could have zoned or anything because sonic used all his resources trying to open him up but failed. Instead ninjakilla dashes forward and eats a whole fatal blow combo lol I'm just like ok. Maybe it's just me but yall be tripping in the really important moments. Dragon obviously should have picked up or practiced against johnny cage. He obviously has the best zoning hands down without even having a teleport which means he is actually busted but anyway. If the roles were reversed, sonicfox would have picked up johnny quick. Instead he's the only one using him laughing because everyone else is too dumb to see he's broken. If NRS grand finals was just 2 johnny cages throwing fireballs, people wouldn't watch it and they would fix that crap but I guess we stuck with it now

Honestly, Dragon is an amazing player. I think he's second best MK11 player currently after SONICFOX . He's taken 2nd about 3 times now. I put him above Ninjakiller who's won like just one tournament. It's unfortunate that he cannot find an answer for SONICFOX.

He really played himself, Cetrion had no answers and he got the answer which was kitana, however he was locked to it and Sonic counter picked again. Checkmate from the moment dragon relied on Cetrion. His Cetrion is solid but after 5-0 he should have switch out after 2 losses.
