Yes! Please continue the series! These boss raids are far more comprehensive than just throwing random bodies at it. The nuance and strategy pay off in dividends if done right. Thankyou for all your work. If I might though? Maybe a short add toward the end of the video for some team comps that aren't necessarily meta, so those of us who may not have a particular character, can best determine where we might improve to increase our effectiveness? Just a thought.

just the other day i was asking my mates at our guild how they deal with szarekh, i skipped 2 turns and this mf never came down from his throne and it all went to sht from there! :)))
but its great now, no one knew and it never dawned me that you can bait szarekh to come down using razor wire!

Just highlighted all the things I've been doing wrong on this fight. Thank you kindly.
So this is the ideal Szarekh match.
Turn1: Create a bait with a summon or lower armor character so the changes are higher he comes down.
Turn2: If he comes down attack the boss, he will summon after your attack
Turn3: Attack the boss, make sure to be in range of 3 or 4 of his deathmarks, this will make him do the “My will be done” after your attack. If there are 2 of less summons chances are higher he will try to move to a high ground position.
Turn4: Make sure to block the high ground positions, he is likely to move this turn. If you kill 2 of his summons he can summon again.
Turn5: if he has not summoned in the last turn make sure to kill 2 deathmarks so you have a large chance for him to summon.
Please continue with this concept.

if he does not come down in first turn, I set fire to its hexes "with hellhound mow" usually that brings him down. block the way up and keep it surrounded. GL guys.

I found an easy way to stun lock him that works 80% of the time use aethena to attack him turn 1 hope that he summons deathmarks and use varro's special to take them out place bellator next to him move aethena and summon 2 interceptors also use the artillery cannon to spam cadians so he cant spawn deathmarks
We need a dive into armor stat benefits on variable equip units like Macer and Aleph Null

I have been recommending your vids to all my guild members & officers alike & it’s starting to show in how far we get in guild raids! I find that exciting. We have had a running debate on the best way to get this boss off his throne & sadly I have not heard your solution so looking forward to all my members getting him to abandon his throne!

Question: If the attacker is not a psyker but deals psykic damage via abra passive or yas active, is that damage reduced?
Oh that's a good question. I would have thought so, but reading the ability again, no, if the damage comes from a non-psyker unit, even if it is psychic damage, it says that it is not reduced! Might be worth testing though, since that's a little counterintuitive, the ability description could be a little misleading.
All damage from the psychic type is reduced by 40%
High ground question - for a larger raid boss, who is on multiple levels, which one counts for the purpose of the high ground damage buff?
Guild bosses have to stay on one level! They can’t straddle multiple ones
Thanks. That's really interesting - so we can predict the boss movement more as there are a whole lot of places they cannot finish their move where they would be on a split level.

For the split level thing there are interesting Screamer Killer or perhaps Morty situations
He's probably my least favorite boss because of how inconsistent he can be. Definitely adds a layer of strategy where you have to be ready to adapt, but it's annoying nonetheless. Currently in the process of leveling up my mechanical team, and it's not even close to being great it's already dishing out insane damage
Only problem I have with these Tacticus guides are that yall use units us newer players don’t have. Try to use units most peeps would have please.
IMO the dev completely failed this boss. In all games bosses have patterns that can help to create a tactic against them.
This boss is totally random and it’s just bad development overall. Either the boss goes down or he doesn’t, it shouldn’t be just random and pray for the odds.
They should rewrite the AI for him and let him go down if a condition is met, not with a little chance or not let him down so we can adapt our raid team for it.
Problem is that since szarekh is older, he also has some of the lowest armor and damage from a guild boss. I’d rather they leave his randomness alone instead of updating him and possibly buffing up his base stats
God forbid showing a boss from the current season
