- Took this video a while back when the DeWalt Atomic 20volt one handed reciprocating saw came out. I still really like it and pick it up over the traditional recip saw every time. #dewalt #dewalttough #recipsaw

One handed reciprocating saw......Proceeds to use both hands
Exactly what I was going to say
That cant be safe one hand
Tbf he only used it as a guide with a regular one you’d have to actually hold it with two hands to use it but I get your point
Great! Nice cut, that is why you use both hands and knee.
Lmao. Still got the milwaukee blade.
#milwaukeeisbetter
Never been disappointed with dewalt tools. Very satisfied. Ryobi not so much. Don’t get Ryobi power tools unless you’re not going to need it more than once or twice a year. Then it makes sense to go cheap but if you are the type that likes to do weekend projects then dewalt is a good choice.
Well, yeah, Ryobi is a DIY brand, not a pro brand
Thanks! Almost took my saw back to the store because I didn't think it was the right tool. Your video showed me it's the right tool but wrong technique ( operator error) 😊. All of my wood pieces are now cut thank you!
I have the Milwaukee version and absolutely love it. Anyone giving negative comments obviously hasn’t used one.
Well to be fair, the milwaukee version is much stronger and faster.
@@tyler70878 yeah man it sure is. Been debating one getting the dewalt or switching all to Milwaukee. Problem is loaded up with dewalt stuff but so pissed of at dewalt sawzalls they suck im on my 4th one in like 7-8 years.. I love the dewalt XR hammer/drill I think it’s been the best for quite while and it’s what I use the most. But the new Milwaukee one has been improved tremendously it seems to be right there with the dewalt if not better ... and it’ really seems dewalt is getting worse with stuff. Like this on handed sawzall for example, it really is shit compared to all the Milwaukee versions.
Using two hands lolol
I normally use a mitter, table or circular saw for cutting 2x4 in that manner
I would use a zawzall/reciprocating saw for cutting nail embedded 2x4 studs, 2x4s to make the door entrance, Cutting PVC/metal pipes and occasionally making holes in cabinets for room for some pipes
Most plumbers use a reciprocating saw for mostly cutting metal/pvc pipes so it would be nice to see how it stacks to the other brands & or is the trade off for power is well worth it
Two hands and a knee.
Turkey knife ??
I'd prefer the Milwaukee hatchet over this for turkey.
It was 17% slower than I had anticipated so I rewatctched it at 125% speed and it still seemed too slow. I'm not saying I'd never purchase this revolutionary device but I'd lower my expectations 35%.
I like how everyone is saying he's using teo hands when he only has his thumb on it as a guide. A full size standard recip doesn't really let you have 4 fingers on the wood and get a straight cut 😂. And then those complaining about the knee like you're not supposed to steady the board 😂
One handed they said!
Disclaimer: Two hands were used in the making of this video
You used two hands mate. Also the Milwaukee's better!
Honestly though, that dewalts way more compact than the Milwaukee - too bad I'm already invested in Milwaukee 😔
I have Dewalt stuff and will continue to buy it only for the same reason. Battery investment kind of locks you into one brand.
I am considering buying one of those battery conversion adapters so I can use the M18 finish nailer though. Wonder if they work as advertised?
Do you own both?
@@mikeg1433 the battery converters work as advertised. I just wouldn't leave them in - I also wouldn't leave a knock off battery unattended. I've seen those things light up.
@@erasamus1057 I don't. But I've seen dewalt and ridgid drills and impacts vs my Milwaukee. On a job I've seen many dewalts burn out. Ridgids are a little better but the battery output wasnt as good. They had to keep swapping
@@hemi4722 Milwaukee fanboy my DeWalt drill does like 400 inch and a quarters through cbu weekly on top of all the other random things it does going like 5 years now and I've seen my partner burn thru two Makitas in that time I'll be getting this based solely on the batteries I got, no doubt tho the Milwaukee probably better but I don't need it to go long or hard so DeWalt will do and I wouldn't say definitively unless I used both a decent amount
That was a job for a miter saw. At the very worst a circular saw. Not a "one" handed reciprocating saw.
With a good blade any decent saw going to cut good
But you used 2 hands
Morons in the comments. It’s one handed depending on what you do with it. For example cutting pvc in a crawl space. For plumbers these are goat, then I use both hands when cutting studs out or what ever.
U using 2 hands
Not bad if you don’t mind the end not being square
Looked like your thumb was doing most of the pressure so no it's a 2 handed
The only reason why it cut fast was becuase you used a Milwaukee blade
cesar barajas .. truh ..
I wish the Milwaukee 12v version had a pivoting foot
Like butter
The Metabo one is ace
First time using a reciprocating saw?
My dude, you used both Hands
That’s two hands...
Like a watered down Sawzall.
Why use this when you gave circular saw and sawzall?
👌
Used two hands
🤔 wonder if it bounces around when using one handed?
Um excuse me sir your using two hands to do a one handed demo.
One hand and a thumb!
As if it wasn't obvious enough that DeWalt sucks, you're using a Milwaukee blade. Priceless. That's why I've got 20 grand worth of Milwaukee Tools and not even a blade made by DeWalt!
You think that makes you smart or cool? Lol you lame af fanboy. You should admit some things are better than your “brand” 1 - that dewalt is smaller and lighter but also has better vibration dampening. It would get smoked by the Milwaukee but I would say for most trades they wouldn’t mind the little bit of speed loss if it meant being more comfortable and prolonging their career. MILWAUKEE is expensive af but usually more powerful than the rest but has a lot of recall type issues. Like their collets, chucks, and new impact assembly. Dewalt is a slapped together tool that just works. It has some issues here and there but whatever it works and costs way less and has a huge lineup as well. MAKITA makes the most comfortable tools of the big 3, hands down. Quality and durability is always top notch but power could be lacking sometimes. #1 in the impact driver categories and they make a fkn 18v bike, 18v wheelbarrow, and a damn 18v coffee maker. They might have the better outdoor power tool lineup & they think of some weirdly useful shit. Like the air dusters, the gravel paddles, the 7.2v pen impact. They are Toyota. Milwaukee is dodge. Dewalt is ford. 20k is a lot of money for red souped up Rigids - don’t you think?
Hey that’s two hands
One hand and your thumb but alright...😆😅🤣
One hand, are u sure?
Kobalt 1 hander is $80 bare tool. It’s also a better saw.
Maybe, Still not buying their batteries.
Is nice
Seemed like it was struggling.
Dull blade or not well taken care of
Try using one of them hands, and learn to count!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔
We gonna stand around talking all day or are we gonna cut some wood?
Hes NOT using both hands, he's using his left Thumb as guidance...
Rather use a drop saw than that
It's actually called a Sabre saw.. One handed use is stupid. It's just so it's light and compact.
Good for tight areas, otherwise buy a Milwaukee.
I can cut with a hand saw faster than that, and a cleaner cut 👍😊
Milwaukee one is way better tho tried them both. Do people not know dewalt is manufactured by black & decker, the worst tool manufacturer in history
Well to be honest black and Decker was the best in it's hay day and you do realize that Milwaukee and Ryobi are made by same company sooooo ur argument holds no water sorry boss
Black and Decker just decided to stick to homeowners kinda like ryobi
@@dosentmatter8169 uhhhh yes it does. TTI also manufactures Rigid and my crews have used dewalt and they don’t last more than 3 years of hard use and Haven’t had a Milwaukee take a shit but once and Milwaukee replaced and sent me a knew one within 2 weeks and dewalts warranty is a joke. The FTC gives dewalts warranty 0 stars and warranty’s of america give them 1 star. Every pro I know all over my state uses Milwaukee. If a sub shows up at one of my sights with cheap dewalt crap I tell them to go home because I only want professionals on my jobs and if you’re cheaping out on dewalt I don’t want you
U got it backwards boss I have seen hundreds of videos of Milwaukee failing along with there battery slop...the reason the warranty then so well is bcuz they have too when we were building docks and boat houses I have seen more dewalt go swimming and come out running no problem I have yet to see many issues with dewalkt other then impacts letting go of bits which is like 8$ and 10 minute job....they all have there issues but I would say if I was an electrician or a plumber I would be right there with u on Milwaukee but for you to say u will send someone home bcuz of there tool preference is one of the most ignorant statements I've ever heard....just sayin....p.s. rigid is straight trash just like ryobi......and if u don't believe that ur a certain type of special.....if a guy shows up to work and has his own tools we welcome them bcuz it seems like a very rare thing these days
@@dosentmatter8169 you’ve watched videos? Really because every AVE, tool bear, VCG all of them say Milwaukee is better. Go watch the AVE video of the Milwaukee chainsaw vs dewalt. What rock have you been living under? Dewalt uses none branded motors and parts. Milwaukee uses jacobs chucks, mabuchi motors, koyo triggers all great high end parts. And Milwaukee’s 6 year full warranty vs dewalts 3 year limited warranty says everything about which company believes in and stands behind their product more. I see rental companies renting Milwaukee makita and hilti tools all the time. Never ever have I seen a dewalt tool at a rental company. I admittedly love dewalts power station that thing is a beast and so handy but Milwaukee’s 18 volt battery’s are top dogs, I’m sorry but they are troopers. Very high end Samsung battery cells while dewalt uses Sanyo battery cells which are some of the cheapest battery cells on the market. I mean just look at dewalts nail guns, noisy, heavy, horribly balanced, god awful 1.5 second ramp up time vs Milwaukee’s nailers, no ramp up time, perfectly quite, lighter, perfectly balanced everything is better like every other tool as well. Every contractor I know who went to Milwaukee from dewalt (probably around like 8 or 9 now) says they love the systems and never even thought about looking back. I have yet to meet a contractor who went from Milwaukee to dewalt except one who went back about 6 months later
Took forever
Cool... 2 hands and not as good as a traditional saw
Well obviously you can use 2 hands and it's not designed to replace any tool it has it uses especially cutting pvc in crawl spaces or anything else in tight areas don't knock it until you use it
too all the 2 hand commenters. Please count how many ✋ are on the saw?
Edit: Milwaukee gang tho😎
Click bate.
Not that great
Don't waste your money on shit you'll just throw in the dumpster at the job get a real Milwaukee Sawzall you'll never need another one
Wrong tool for the application
