When trying to build muscle on a vegan diet or any diet plan is it necessary to count macros or can we just count calories. For example if you want to lose weight just eat in a deficit and watch your calories since macros equal calories at the end of the day?

I was strickt vegeterian for 4 months, fucked up, now flex, but slowly trying to go to vegterian to then vegan, one day at the time.

Do both of you track macros and calories? I’m just wondering if it’s possible to get lean without tracking anything, I tend to get way too stressed about counting calories, which unfortunately lead to an eating disorder. Idk man I put my mental health first, but I want to be physically healthy as well.

I feel like your shred meals would be my bulk meals haha I eat like 4.5 grams of oats with fruit and peanut butter for breakfast.. you are like 3 times that o_o

yes, I usually do! I think stove top is probably better, but the microwave is just so dang convenient! haha

it's definitely not necessary, but we do get a fair bit of our protein intake from protein powder during fat shredding periods because it helps us hit our high-protein, low-cal macros :)
