"How high will this thing go?" I think thats my question every time I'm pulling an engine
Won't pull
My bad read it wrong
Still aint done right
Who the hell let you drive there Camaro
I would like to see you do something on wiring using existing harness..like your vids!
That sawzall was kickin you're ass 🤣
This channel has to be call it "One ratchet and one socket"
I love steely look on s10
Im hearing a lot of breaking benjamin 🤘😁
B.B. kicks ass
You should invest in some power tools, I'm just saying lol
Why would you ask him to ejaculate?
Good job, Roman. Just a word from an old rodder, not a good idea to stand your hood on the "Points". Rather, if you have to stand it up, stand it on the side (Points facing to the right or left). Just some free advice from someone who has bent a hood or two.
Jeff Hertzberg Thank you for watching and thank you for the tip, I'll keep that in mind!
Hey Jeff what are your thoughts on EFI now a days
I want to do this to my 96 s10 lol love the damn truck
Good taste in music breaking benjamin playing in the background. Great video showing how this is done too
Love the videos man great content, love to see progress on the s10
Take your hoses off on the engine side and then lift radiator out simplify anything you can to save steps n time. Anyway just my opinion man good video
Sad moments today.. went to go check out my 83 s10 and under the door there so much rust my hand went thru the floor. Got told to get rid of it. But I need single cab in my life. LoL..
Does Less to no humidity make working on Rusted metal parts easier?
just...unlinkaged...lmao! Nice dude!
The 4.3 goes up the driverside as well... fml...
Great video
Wheels look good on there man I would keep them on there this Kevin ordoyne this my mom's phone
Awesome Channel man. But How the hell do you find anything or walk in that garage?!
I've done a bunch of s10s if you're going to clean every thing to make things easier to get to there's not that many bolts holding the front clip on remove it it's easier to get engine out and back in and if your using shorty headers you can cut the back corners of the fender welds two fold helps with air flow to keep cooler and you can get to collectors easyer
You have a vid on that.
You forgot to mark around the hinge so it will be easier to put on in alignment.
For sure will be doing that to mine sooner or later...i had a 6.6l 400sbc crane cammed blazer (see video) was a beast. So will be doing it to my 1988 s10 i'll stick to a 5.7l this time tho haha. Also next time make it yourself easier, pull with a carb plate.
I’m here because I’m thinking of swapping mine 93 with a Cadillac CTS 3.6 turbo engine lol only because my 93 Engine blew up lol
I bet the distributor seal was leaking oil pretty bad.
My 92 with the tbi 2.8 left much to be desired but at least it was a 5 speed with 3.73 rear gear.
wheres link to you putting v8? and what parts you used?
Re-cip saw for a Y pipe?
Smoke-wrench.
That zombie yeah took me out
good luck w the motor mounts.
hood should of come first
Lollll the weight of an LS3 is nearly exactly the same as a 4.3 vortec V6.
No front spring swap needed.
I've been trying to find information about doing this swap. I've heard rumors about some suspension issues, what is the spring swap you're talking about
How did you run the gas pump to the carb . I can't get the pump to come on when I switch it on mine is a 95 s10
Why would you not strip the block when it was out, if your v8 it
What trans did you put in the S10 for the swap
Did you have to change your motor mounts for the sbc
Did u have to change the trasmisson as well or did it bolt on
Nice video!! I have a 1985 Chevy s10 with a 2.5l 4 cylinder engine. I’ve been dying to to an engine swap but don’t have all the experience, tools and money to do so (right now) how hard is this? And what transmission did you use with the new engine?
If its a early 5.7 tbi it would be a 700r4(auto) (in most cases)
LowMan Josh what if i want to go 5.7 but use the stock 2.8 5 speed
@@DAVIDISEPIC1111 if yoy baby it itll survive otherwise would need to rebuild it with a kit for a worldclass t5 for a mustang 5.0 . the non world class t5 wasnt made for that power also wouldnt bolt right up. The bell housong is different
@@Jihadbearzwithgunz wont fit
T5 camaro and so on the tail shaft us different dont put out bull shit
What grade of sand paper are you using with the disc sander? Nice video I’m restoring my pops 83 S10!
What area are you from and how much would you charge for a swap like this?
Like
Like the video how is the wagon coming along
Did you buy the truck or was it Pre owned??? I’m just wondering how much this would cost roughly???
What starter did you use for the swap
First!!! Lol. Love your channel
Dig the steelies
How did u pass smog check bro??
Question how will that work with a 4X4
Your going to want to get a awd tranfer case from a astro.
Yes
@@andrewkennett940 no you dont .... sbc will bolt right up to the 4.3 transmisson and transfer case
@@Fa-Q2 @W J Yes the 4.3 and the 350 have the same bolt pattern. But I think he said there was a 2.8 v6 in there.
Steelies Hell yeah
привет.остался ли впускной коллектор у тебя.я очень долго его ищу
How big of a difference is the gas consumption on a v6 vs v8 in an s10?
I would say that the v6 is equal to the v8 in fuel consumption but 1/4 the power .
@@Evan-eq3uh also same question in regards to 4cyl. vs. v6
@@Evan-eq3uh maybe a v6 manual similar gas consumption to the 4cyl. manual (or automatic) would you say?
@@ghostandbell2006 manual always gets better fuel economy no mater what in my experience. My v6 auto is a dog unless your going to maintain about 50 mph in a straight line. It’s about to be v8 stick shift swapped.
Where did you buy those steelys
What year is the s10
Are you going to put in a 5.3 LS V8 or a regular small block 350 V8
350
What year is the truck?
this video could have included everything , the engine removal , the cleaning , the engine replacement , but that wouldn't get you your UA-cam money would it
What size are the rims 15 x10 or 15x 8
HI vendería algunas piezas?
50 dislikes from people who fucked up their engines on the way out
water from the radiator was no bueno
Work smarter not harder
Hi Roman, Would you or do you know anyone that would be willing to do a 350 TPI swap in my 1987 S10 Blazer, Tahoe, 2.8 V-6 4X4. It is a 62K mile garage kept like new condition survivor. Original two tone blue paint. Looks like it was never sat in, under the hood it looks like it was never put on the road. It needs the swap, its 2.8 is slower than a riding lawn mower and it just won't get out of its own way.
I'm in need of a 2.8 v6 4X4.

hey man got some new figured you may be interested idk if you remember but I talked to you about my s10 before with the 2.5 and it threw a rod last week!! so I'm now starting my swap! sent a request on fb hoping you'll respond I have a lot of questions hoping you could give me some pointers!
Colton Strickland i can help you. I done about 300 of these swaps. Im on Facebook as well. I also have a all s10 junk yard here in Georgia.
@@danielhiggins6285 Mine threw a rod also. 2.8 by 4X4
I have the 4.3 in mine it's a stronger motor. I bought a 2002 theft recovery at auction for $200.00 with 56k miles on it also has the 4.3. Im building that one with twin turbo chargers and going to put it into the 93 S10.
why not ls.
Thomas Hunt maybe didn’t want to jump into wiring and fuel and all the little things that comes with it. This is basically a direct swap for the most part.
Steelies*
Dont want to read all below me .manual or auto thks
Y'all know if I can use a 5sp v6 trans on a 305 or 350 or Maby a better option would prefer to stay manual
You can
You could use the existing transmission, but it wont hold up for long especially if you are pushing some horsepower. Get a camaro or TA manual transmission that's built to hold some power
Peal ane strip it when its out, amatures

Dude my name is Roman too! And I'm buying a 89 s10 soon. Sick vids.. go check out my 636;)
