Sega Astro City DIY arcade stick part 2. I made this retro arcade stick for myself. The arcade stick has two versions, wooden and painted finishes. Please like share and subscribe if you like this video. Salamat!
Dimension: 16x10x2.3 inches
Lever: Sanwa JLF
Buttons: Sanwa
PCB: Brook Zero-PI
Every time I see an angled wrist rest I nod in approval.
Great work, sir.
thanks
Amazing work! That transparent base looks great.
I'd buy this over those cheap mass produced plastic boxes any day. That's a work of art and worth every penny.
thanks
I personally love the painted white one, because of the color aesthetic matches the SEGA Astro City. Also your cable organization on the back was just exquisite! These sticks are great!
Thanks!
I love your work, both looks amazing but I would go with the white one it looks so clean and the construction build is very well thought excellent work!
These series of DIY videos are amazing. Congratulations from Argentina.
Thanks brother!
That’s beautiful 😻
Will you make a guide to wire like that ?
what router bit do you use to cut out the bottom for the bottom acrylic pannel to mount to? and what size thickness for acrylic you like to use. love your videos and work brother
Uma verdadeira obra de arte. Parabéns Juan!
Thanks!
very nice work
Thanks!
I've been waiting for the wiring video for so long!
Hope you can teach how to wire like that
I think I'd go with white. It matches with the theme of the Sega Astro cab. Though the varnished wood is also good.
Thank you for your reply!
Well done!
Amaziiing
Thanks!
el mejor fighstick casero que haya visto en la vida, podrias replicar el madcatz 3 es un fighstick super complejo.
Not bad at all, but I see that you ran into some extra work with the top panel and with the holes for the front buttons. I suggest you to make the panel and front and/or side holes before you assamble the box. It will be much easier this way since you have more control of the piece of wood and tools.
Thanks for the tip
Very nice !! 😃
Thank you! Cheers!
Both are amazing! personally i love the white one but the one with the varnished wood shows more craftmanship. Amazing! wish you where from my country to order one of these from you.
Thanks for your comment.
I think it's still possible to make this happen -- shipping will cost you though (and the shipper will need to find a trustworthy courier) -- but definitely possible in my humble opinion.
You can contact the maker at facebook.com/JUANminiDIY -- I personally am buying one soon since I live in the PH. Hope you can get yours too, soon!
can you upload schematics and measurements to build it by myself?
Hi I am from India I like your DIY boxes where are you from???

Please visit our facebook page for your inquiries. Gracias!
Awesome :) Do you think you could build a full-size sega Astro city! This would be something from another world! I would pay just to see the video or to get the blueprint project etc... Imagine that! The Japanese candy cabinets are something very desirable for many people.
Instant subscribed lol :p
Maybe in the future bro.
What router attachment did you use to cut the slot for the lever? And how thick should the top panel be? Thank you!
Looks like a 1/2 inch straight bit
@@TheKesma Thank you!

Man, you make cool stuff, but you can not use snap-in buttons and just push them into 2cm thick surfaces. They do not snap, that's bad. Make sockets for the buttons so they can snap at 3mm or use screw-in ones. Fix this and you're gonna have really nice pieces. 👍
Would screwin ones be long enough?
dont forguet the wire vídeo :)
Sure!
no sound test 😭
Sorry bro, next time will do sound test.
