Thank you for the video, may i ask, did you make the cut base on any reference or just "feel it" , i'm a military modeller so i'm have hard to do any cut , modification without exact reference
Noticed that a blade was used to cut the panel lines before scribing it. How do u engrave the exact same lines on the other leg to achieve perfect symmetry, do u just use your it eyes to judge or actually measure it out?
@@peco_modeling No Thank you!!! That actually is an amazing skill. Very steady hands and magnificent control on the blade. It will usually want to drift off to some direction other than the one you want.
I so want to do this but: 1. I can't make the time 2. I have fat clumsy hands 3. I can't afford to practice this cuz I can't afford buying gunpla everytime I screw up.
Recently subcribed and an loving the work! Quick question though: BMC chisels are hella expensive!! If I had to just buy three sizes to work with HGs (that's all my paycheck allows for fun) what sizes do you recommend I get? Thank you in advance! Keep the up!

今度、時間を見つけて、シャーペンで下書き→デザインナイフ→ラインチゼル→ペーパー掛けで挑戦してみます。いきなりデザインナイフは1000%無理なんで・・・

How did you make it symmetrical to the other side? Did you a draft on the other side or just use your "Newtype" modelling abilities?
use masking tape or make a pla plate template first before making custom lines

you can use masking tape to copy the exact design if you like

コツと言えるか分かりませんが、線を引き始める場所、線を曲げる場所を目で見てパーツの角や端からどのくらい離れているかを見て線を引いてます。完璧にはどのみち無理なので結構気楽にやってるのが良いんだと思います😊

I recommend 0.1, 0.15, 0.2mm 's😄
There are other brands out there that are cheap and just as effective as BMC. Ex. Madwork chisels. You can find some that comes in a bundle.

Also, carving chisel is defferent from the paneline scriber.
