Just cruising by checking out some roof painting videos as I prepare to paint my metal roof. Seems like a lot of overspray, could you have adjusted the sprayer to cut down? My neighbors would not be happy!
Yeah I was worried about them, it was really windy that day, one of the days the neighbour was having a BBQ, so I waited a day and did it on Sunday, then he had his washing out.. So i just smashed it quickly
plain white industrial enamel white paint dropped the temp of my metal roof from 135 degrees at noon to 75 degrees at noon in the philippines. prime with iron oxide if its bare metal first and clean it off if its already coated. been cooling my house for 12 years already, i cleaned it and put one more coat after 8 years. I USED A BUSH AND 3/4 INCH NAP ROLLER.
Will this metal paint work around the aluminum window frames? My homes windows (upstairs) radiate heat via the frames and heats up the upper level of my home drastically.
It seems pretty obvious that the material should have been put in the shaker at the place it was purchased at or a mixing paddle for your drill should have been purchased as well. Otherwise great job! PS; I hope the client does not watch your channel, Max!
Give the guy a break... He's a drywaller / taper finisher not a full time painter... Even though he handled that spray pattern like a pro painter... It's his house not a customer... And the clumping issue was taken care of by boxing [last resort still works just as good as a mixing wand] (and if it wasn't mixed enough you'd have seen him stop a thousand times to clear the clogged nozzle) so why worry about the customer considering all these things I've said???
@@scottphillips7108 - Max is actually a painter by trade - he has a passion for 'drywall' and he has excellent skills in doing that as well as painting. Necessity is the mother of invention so the solution they found for returning the solids in that paint to the solution while it was on the roof is nothing short or ingenious. Yes it's his own roof so he was having a play with words and a bit of fun. Cheers.

You make it look too easy... The end result is nice... Good on you...
Not bad for a plasterer mate 👍 👌
Thanks, I will take it
I wonder how well it works in high humidity climates against mold and mildew. (I usually see mold/etc on the buildings around here)
Thats why i use tsp before painting the roof and pressur wash it after using tsp on it
Nice job, how many coats did you do ? And what kind of coverage did you get ? Sorry if this info is in the video I didn’t watch all 18mins !!
