What's the difference between the front, side, and back parts? Why choose Part A over Part B?

For the front, Type A and Type B give downforce and are cosmetic. They both give the same amount of downforce.
Side is purely cosmetic and adds no downforce.
Rear Type A gives rear downforce only. Rear Type B adds a diffuser adding front and rear downforce which will boost up the Performance Points.
Not every car is the same as they all have different options.
