Hi! As someone who played this for a lot of hours, there are some things that I'd like to share: 1.) Dungeon type comes in three, not two. Video already showed the usual enemy-type dungeon and escape-type dungeon, but what wasn't shown is the speed-type dungeon wherein you use a hoverboard (or any transportation medium) to go through checkpoints within a time limit. It still doesn't change the fact that dungeons in this game lack variety and content though. It becomes extremely repetitive very quickly. 2.) If I can remember correctly, this game is made by less than five people from Japan (they mentioned this in an old update). That is why when you see some of the untranslated text info from certain items, they're in Japanese. 3.) In line with updates, they are very consistent about it. They used to release patches literally everyday, but the players are annoyed by this, so the developers made it so that patches will come in one huge fixes per month. These patches occasionally adds new content as well! 4.) For the cautious buyer out there, video already mentioned this, but the game is really rough around the edges. If you're expecting properly translated texts, good AI, and the like, then no. This game needs a lot more time for them to get sorted out. However, the basic elements are there, and even though it's rough, it IS functional, and I had a lot of fun with it. Keep your expectations low, laugh out all the bugs you'll encounter (no gamebreaking bugs afaik), and you'll be fine. 😊
Theres also target shooting dungeon and the "pinball" one and the platforming one where you slide across boosters and have to not fall off. i guess that makes 6 types? still pretty lackluster though and with bad luck you just get the same over and over
@@r0ei Hey! Yes the game has multiplayer. However, afaik there's no official multiplayer servers established yet, so you need to open your network ports for this game so your friends can join in. Other people are using third-party software like Hamachi to host their own servers as well. I would suggest holding off buying Craftopia if your plan is to play it in multiplayer. If it's single player, it's fine. Be warned though that if you manage to make multiplayer work, then it'll get buggy really quickly. If you're looking for a game in the similar genre and has functional multiplayer in it with little to no bugs at all, try Valheim. 👌

It’s really sad to know that he thinks these are all new things. Sucks that the actual creatives who made BotW get all their shit stolen and no credit sometimes.
@@AJ-__ Considering Peon called Genshin Impact "Asian Breath of The Wild" I fail to see where you think he thinks all of this is new. Nintendo stans gatekeeping mechanics as if they're copyrighted or something is amazing
@@MikeDawsonPal it's not about inventing them. BOTW did it in those specific styles that other games such as this one and Genshin implemented the way BOTW did it into their games.
For people who said that multiplayer doesn't work It works but you need something like hamachi or radmin. Iv been playing with my girlfriend for a quite long time. I can say few mechanics that Peon didn't say in video: 1) Enchant crafting: When you kill creature you will get item drops with the name of this creature on top. Every creature name enchantment gives different bonuses. You can combine this enchants to craft more powerful weapons or armor. 2) Every island are generated but higher levels makes game truly hard (and there's island bosses like dragons and big golems) 3) You can create different characters for one world or jump between worlds with single char. All items in the inventory will save. Overall 8/10 for me Worth to buy. Next big update comes in February, get ready
imagine if in the multiplayer if there were super rare resources that you could find and use to craft powerful weapons and coming across different groups of players with insanely unique gear and weapons and having no idea which map cell they found the resources in. or having to use ambush and guerilla tactics to take on groups with more advanced gear. i see a lot of potential for this game, i hope it keeps going.

I actually created an upgrade sinergy whereas I gained a mana buff each time I attacked and every buff received would heal me. From there, with a sword and a shield, it was very easy to take out any enemy with a higher level.
It's hard to know what to question in the game since its and early access and a lot of things are place holders. One things I do hope they work on soon is the sound design. all the environments feel the same when you got calming music tied to wind noises and bird sounds so the environmental sound are lacking completely, It dose seem like a place holder though. I also personally don't like how the sky looks at all, which I think is the cause for the weird day and night transition and lighting problems.

LazyPeon: "This Giraffes is a friendly boy"
yeah try the Bulls or the Elephants
I love this game! Big updates coming on February 10th!
2 New Bosses (6 Currently), 5 New Skills, 1 New Island and a storage update!
This was fun for about 3 days until me and 3 friends unlocked everything and ran out of content. It may be more fun when the game is finished but for now it goes on the backshelf.
"Unlocked everything" You reached Hell and killed Hell Anubis? Unlocked everything in the Picture Book? Killed all the bosses? Tried crafting better gear or getting ready for the next update? The game is filled with content as it is and next update is in less than a week, time to get ready for it! Also they have an Alpha branch meant for testing, you can try new things there too!
@@bernardobrito5872 The Last time I played was September. I'm not going to wait for every update, just wait for the game to be finished so I can enjoy it as it should be. Is that wrong?
@@joshuadeldridge I understand your point, but well, its not different than many triple a out there with live service. Just keep an eye on it and enjoy the game!
@@bernardobrito5872 I will do that
It's good to see you're become active on youtube these days..
Keep uploading videos often.. We love it
Peon - "Ooooh, look at that sunset .."
millisecond after
Peon - "F#ck this chicken"
.
Quality content as always
this looks so good im giving an old laptop to a friend for free and i really want to find fun relax games like this we can both play because shes new to gaming
Am I the only one bothered that he’s using SALT WATER to grow his farming fields?
Bothered me too lol
You have been cranking out the videos lately man. GG
This Is Breath of the Wild - Cal Arts Edition
Also they seriously could not think of a better name?
Even though I can't buy any games that aren't free,I still watch these videos, cause why not?
Craftopia: Breath Of The Wild. even the music
it like breath of the wild aesthetics and combat x rust economy
The CEO of Pocket Pair Inc used to work at Nintendo, it wouldn't be weird if some BoTW devs joined his company
Finally a legitimate survival RPG game you can actually fight bosses and other monsters in. Leave it to Japan to get this right.
It’s definitely interesting, and you gave a much more in-depth analysis than the few minutes I saw from Hololive.
Then again, I was just watching them play it to...play it.
It’s multiplayer capable at least, but I’m not sure if it’s stable.
These game looks like A LOT of fun! Can't wait to see how it evolves over the years if it stays alive.
I feel like for everything he's getting excited over, he just needs to play BotW.
I'm sure he would've by now if he wanted to
It’s really sad to know that he thinks these are all new things.
@@timthetoolmantaylor9048 Or thinking that BOTW invented those mechanics in the first place lmao
@@MikeDawsonPal it's not about inventing them. BOTW did it in those specific styles that other games such as this one and Genshin implemented the way BOTW did it into their games.
For people who said that multiplayer doesn't work
It works but you need something like hamachi or radmin.
Iv been playing with my girlfriend for a quite long time.
I can say few mechanics that Peon didn't say in video:
1) Enchant crafting:
When you kill creature you will get item drops with the name of this creature on top.
Every creature name enchantment gives different bonuses.
You can combine this enchants to craft more powerful weapons or armor.
2) Every island are generated but higher levels makes game truly hard (and there's island bosses like dragons and big golems)
3) You can create different characters for one world or jump between worlds with single char. All items in the inventory will save.
Overall 8/10 for me
Worth to buy.
Next big update comes in February, get ready
This looks like Botw mixed with genshin and Minecraft and a whole bunch of other games
Yep and the devs did pretty good on implementing them. Some other games fails to replicate those kinds of mechanics
@@sebastiangonzales46 no kidding this is much better then I imagined at the beginning of the video
imagine if in the multiplayer if there were super rare resources that you could find and use to craft powerful weapons and coming across different groups of players with insanely unique gear and weapons and having no idea which map cell they found the resources in. or having to use ambush and guerilla tactics to take on groups with more advanced gear. i see a lot of potential for this game, i hope it keeps going.
You are here because of GPU
Yes and now I will hunt you down stalker
Aside from the auto save crash issue atm the game is fun AF.
1:23 CHASM
It’s like they took all my favorite games and smashed them into one! I hope it comes on switch or Xbox!
if BOTW is the new game devs are gonna copy we're in for a wild couple of years
Yeah but have you seen the horrid things that came from soulsborne?
Thanks for doing a video on this. I think I check Craftopia every time I go on Steam. It sounded like you were having a lot of fun, which is important.
Craftopia: Breath Of The Wild.
So tired of people calling everything a clone, this, Genshin Impact, Immortals Phoenix rising....
I like how you have been going off the wall with the gameplay videos I love getting to see the less popular stuff
80% of these comments fail to remember this game is in early access
There's really no difference between early access and finished product nowadays LUL
This
Just wanna say you've been killing it with all these new videos. Really appreciate it.
Lots of breath of the wild mmo clones now a days... wtf.
Because not everyone gonna buy Switch or Wii U just to play BoTW. If they release BoTW to PC, then people will choose to play it instead those clone game.
Jump-climbing isn’t something that is natural (like you saw in-game) but just clinging on to a surface allows you to climb normally (albeit slowly)
I’ve played it, it’s not that good trust me.
Omg this has been in my steam library for a bit now! Looks really good!
I have had fun playing it and excited for multi-player, got some friends that will enjoy it as a group.
I absolutely love this game already. Cannot wait for multiplayer
Nice! Been on the fence with this one for a while!
Wow! After watching your video I can't wait for this game to release. I seriously haven't seen you have this much genuine fun and excitement with a game!
Literally just was about to buy this game and wanted to see reviews... glad you posted this!
love these reviews man, mixing humour in
Game has many updates, you gonna replay it again someday? I'll try it.
As someone who’s played every Zelda game religiously as a kid but never got a switch or played BotW this makes me super hyped to try on Xbox
I am so happy you covered this game. I would have NEVER found it. And it seems like a game I would totally love! Thank you
I love craftopia played with some buds on launch day. It has so much charm and the music is great.
I looked at this game back when it released in early access. I'm glad to see you look over it, and I'm definitely going to keep my eyes on it.
Immediatly had to think of Reckful, when the farmer song came... RIP
Great video as usual :)
I love your reviews! Based on this, I tried Craftopia co-op with two friends and we love it. The net code was surprisingly stable, too.
So the multiplayer works on this game now? Thinking about convincing some friends to play it!
@@seanaltemeyer9338 Multiplayer was almost flawless in the 5 hours or so we played. The only issue we temporarily had was the host not showing character animations to clients, but as soon as I put clothes on it fixed itself xD
This game looks awesome. TLP, thanks for increasing the amount of your content. I have played maybe three of the games you have reviewed but have watched almost every review. You are great at what you do.
thank you for the videos, they always make my day better.
Not sure I'll ever play this game (taking into account my huge Steam backlog) but I imagine how much fun this game can be for kids.
W101 is legit fun, cool sponsor dude
Gotta love that the miniboss music and boss battle was so close to BotW.
The multi-player works!!! I play with the Japanese alpha tester group if you need some tips ~
ive already watched videos on this , happy u play it now
