I literally ran out of my hometown screaming when I was 24 years old as I was sick of dealing with all of the religious bigots that tried to rule everything with their hateful rhetoric and completely closed minds. Gay pride should be brutal to fight this to those countries who are still persecuting being gay not in the western worlds.

In my experience, a lot of essays on coming out and living gay in such a positive narrative forget the sex in homosexual. Those speedos are a constant reminder of my sexuality as the words remind me of my sexual identity. Thanks for seeing a bigger picture.
I truly enjoyed this video as it struck home for me. I lived in the closet for 60 years; I didn't come out until my 60th birthday. So I understand where Tommy is coming from in that my social and family network denigrated guys. I heard that drummed into me so I loathed myself.
