Considering this was written in 1944, it's pretty good scientificly, but the computer wasn't a gleem in it's creater's eyes then. I remember typing boxes of punch cards to program room size computers in 1973, as we now know the exploration of space wasn't possible without them.
I'm about an hour in and I don't know if I can finish this. Everything feels slap dashed together without any thought. It's a jumbled mess of characters and locations at break neck speed. Also... within the first 5 minutes, the world government is going to fund constructing a new plant so people get more sunlight than Mars because making artificial light it too expensive? I'm still reeling from the insanity

Punch cards to room sized computer - i was doing that in college in the late 60s.
