- Today I'm showing you my FAVORITE ways to make money as a beginner in Fae Farm using 3 specific crafting benches. There's other ways to do it, so don't take this video as the ONLY WAY. With the basics that I show you here, you can easily use any of the crafting benches in Azoria to make all the florins in the world using every natural resource you have.
Also note that this is ONLY showing the potential profit when JUST STARTING OUT using the Saltwater mines. Once you hit the third mine, just watch how fat that little Fae wallet gets.

Thank you. 😊 I think a lot of people are in the same boat. I can imagine it going on sale sometime around the holidays, which might make it seem a bit more worth it. It is a ton of fun, though I will admit a little on the shorter side for main story length

Extra tip, it takes a whole min irl or 1 in game hour to process a polished gem. So 9 hours of the in game day, or you could make multiple polishers, throw in stacks of 1, and have a stack done in 1 hour in game.
At some points, your character is bugged as I refer to it. MOST of the time, you can pause time and your char freezes to think with a little thinking bubble. After some trigger in game, not quite sure what but it takes a few min of natural gameplay. You can pause time AND harvest something. Like running up to a tree or node and holding left click or switch equivalent, hitting ESC to bring up your menus and pause time WHILE your char is still spending stamina and harvesting whatever node. This also works with magic and farm animals like Cows and Sheep as those animations cost you time, or not depending on your bug status. Havent tried on Switch, but fairly certain itll work. I can farm entire deep floors in the other mines in an hour in game time.
Kinda weird, but you can chop a tree faster by spamming left click instead of holding it. Doesnt seem to affect much else.
Pausing time can be beneficial even if not bugged as it will animation cancel you naturally. So say you are low stamina, empty on watering can, etc and it plays that animation that costs you a few min in game....just pause and it stops your character to go into their thinking animation. If youre bugged as in the earlier tip, youll still do the animation but times paused so at least youll know if you can pull that off. Your character seems to float between the two states for whatever reason. I like to do it for the magic watering can animation, if im not bugged, Ill wait till the water appears and pause to save myself half the in game time animation cost, if youre bugged you can initiate the pause as soon as you start the magic animation. You gotta wait for the water to appear otherwise you could spend mana without watering or just cancel it altogether
The in game time doesn't bother me horribly. I know that nothing really happens so I'm personally not too concerned by amount of time things take but this is a GREAT tip for anyone who's feeling rushed, which I know is a huge concern for some. 😊 I WILL SAY I'm gonna use your tip to cancel out the watering can animation, that does drive me crazy every time. Like I get it its empty, LET ME GO FILL IT 😂
@@jaycakezz I just hated that monsters can still attack you in "pause" so this is my spite, also, your buff timers are ALWAYS ticking even when paused so even more so I wanted to make sure I can get the most out of my time. Idr if you listed it in the video, but higher pick axs will give bigger yields, at end game pick ax, its a little closer in gem yields but the saltwater mines is king just because of floor size I make way more there. So yes....I do need all the table space xD
The attacking while pausing does need a fix, I appreciate the fact that it gives you a prompt if you need stam or a potion but still. I would end up freaking out screaming and trying to run away while paused 😂 I just use the gone potions cause I don't even want to deal with the combat anymore lmao
Have you purchased more stalls? It's a little goofy how they work but you can get an extra table per homestead. I will say I'd prefer it be added to the market square to just dump it all in one go, but extra is extra for me so I'll take it 😂 I didn't mention too much about the higher axe's, with an intent on gearing this towards beginners I don't want anyone yelling at me for "spoilers." 🙄
While doing the gameplay for this video though, I did find myself with WAY too many of the easy gems using my gold axe and was like this is not the point I'm trying to get across 😂 DAMNIT
@@jaycakezz I got them all already, its a little wonky yea going to each house and for the sake of not spoiling I can see why you didnt wanna mention it but I dont think its a spoiler to just say better tools, at the saltwater mine youre going to upgrade it twice anyway although the increase will be marginal at that point to notice unless you're looking for it.
100% agree on Gone pots, friend suggested Whirlwinds, thats ok, but avoiding it entirely is way better. It also gives a few I-frames. I didnt take damage when it wore off and I paused to use another while being attacked.
Already got the Final upgrade for staff and its uh...not solving the issue either but it is nice if youre into combat. Shame theres no leveling system over the comfort system.
I would like to mention about the buffs you touched on in the video since I also use the first mining food, APPARENTLY some recipes end game for buffs require specific ingredients to a season....like Salmon >,> so I gotta wait till Spring again to stock....
For those reading, Gone Pots do not work with Speed pots, you can't stack them, much like you can't stack different buff foods like if you have a mining buff on and eat for Critter collection, the original buffs disappears
Maybe better tools needs to be discussed in the future 🤔 Gotta stretch that content 😂
Ive been bee farming. Its " fast" because you're game can be paused while it works.
You need queens to use the beehive or tree beething, as many as possible. Then 1 wokrer bee to make a bee potion, drink potion take the bees out.
So if you surroundyourself with hives, 1 bee= 1 potion= 9 bees. Make those 9 into potions , repeat, then you got 81. Take those 81, repeat, 729.... And if you have more than 9 queens you can do this for more than multiples of 9.
Craft all the honey into beeswax. This is the only time used.

ok 9k in one night? do you remember what all you sold and how many tables you have open? i thought i was going well getting 3k/night!
Oh man I would have to go back to scrub through my video file to see what all I placed (currently out of state) I know that at that point I had 2 extra tables and likely sold a ton of polished gems. I would say 3k is pretty damn good though!

so true. do you find you get more crop from using bountiful fertillizer or speedy? i always use bountiful and plan when i can plant from the length of grow time. BUT i found i dont feel like i actually reliably every time GET more crop than i plant. some other yt gal said she uses speedy and im wondering if that would give me better payout than the bountiful which is not even reliable with how much more you produce ..🤔🤔 video idea ? crop experiment lol i would watch it @@jaycakezz

I personally don't bother with the bountiful because when I used it I think I also didn't notice getting anything extra, but I was also in that phase where it was new and everything was amazing and over stimulating lol 😂
I made my farm kinda bigger than it needs to be 😂 so I just plant a ton at once. Since end game though I have been using speedy to just make as much as possible and its been nice to cut a day of watering out. Its especially nice too cause you can use it along side the seasonal/fae fertilizer. So you can first make it a different crop, and then once its changed you can blast it with the speedy 👍
How did you harvest multiple crops at once?
Using the staff and the vortex spell. It’s a game changer 😍
