I like the repetitive dialogue from the villagers, I don't have to worry that I'm missing any vital information, or that talking to a certain villager 10 times will trigger a cutscene that I need to see for whatever reasons. I like sticking to my farm, and doing my thing, and not feeling forced into cultivating friendships is wonderful.
So I totally understand everyone's disappointment in the lack of dialogue because some people enjoy that story aspect more. I'm on board with you, however. Very few games do I require dialogue like that for (Wylde Flowers). I've barely made it to chapter 4 in this game and haven't been sad about the lack of dialogue once yet. More frustrated in trying to figure out how friendship quests work (apparently they're daily so they go away if you haven't finished them the day you accepted them)
One thing that I learned is that while it is tempting to do as much as you can since you will always be sent back to your home at midnight without penalty. It can be worth it to go to sleep before then as doing so grants you a well rested buff that gives you passive health, stamina, and mana regeneration.
I know I'm 7 months late, but for anyone who's had trouble with the fishing rod Eddy gives you at the beginning, you can upgrade it through his shop. You just need to have the florians and fishing level to obtain it. It tugs the fish faster and harder, even when they're swimming away.
Loving this game, thank you for the great tips, I was playing last night night and realize that if it’s a really hot day in the game and you don’t have any cool drinks to cool you down, you can jump in to the water and it will cool you down for a little while
You can reset the mines by exiting the game and then starting it back up. I love this for collecting the rarer gems. I bought the game the day it came out and its incredibly hard to put down lol
I love how almost everything in this game has a purpose, like even the furniture. Normally I'm very lazy with decorations and don't really care about it, but this game makes me want to decorate😂 well it's mostly for the buffs but still...
@@macymiller3417 Well the first few weeks or the first month even, when it was released I was playing ACNH like crazy, after there were no more tasks for me to do it was just like, meh whatever and just went in for the flower breeding and now I just start the game once a few months. I think the last time I played ACNH was in spring and for like 10 mins then quit. I mean in TOTK you have a lot of freedom too, but it somehow tells you passively that you have an ongoing quest and I need that guideline otherwise I'll be like: And what now? I don't know what to do
another thing i find kind of annoying is the petting and brushing animals mechanic. it just feels kinda clunky. maybe it's bcs we're stuck on the animation and the animation is a bit slow. also when a few animals are so close together, it's hard to navigate which one i wanna pet/brush. another thing i wish they'd add into the game is an option to prolong the clock. each day feels so fast, especially when i'm just decorating and relocating items on my farm, i wish they would make the time stop when we're decorating or in build mode.
Something I just discovered the other day that I haven't seen anyone mention- while on day one (during the tutorial day) you can actually get into the blizzard mountains early on and won't freeze since it's the tutorial (you can even talk to Grell- but he doesn't say much). Just explore/hop around the mountain side- it's pretty easy to get pass the three vortex blocking that one path!!!
I picked up this game for Switch and I'm so impressed. It's all open world and I have had hardly any lag or glitches, for which the Switch is terribly notorious. I'd been needing a good Switch game that doesn't crash (looking at you Disney Dreamlight Valley). Thanks for that garden tip! I haven't been paying attention to making my farm aesthetically pleasing and I thought I'd just have to wait until my crops were finished, but now I can make it cute and keep my crops!
Biggest thing I learned is that during the tutorial time is stopped and energy is unlimited. I clear everything I can on the farm then go gather resources outside the farm before continuing the story
I feel exaktly the same way 😣 But does it have any consequences if you skip days (do other stuff) and dont do quests? Or are some quests only solveable if you are in a particular season or something?
Pay attention to the Keybinds at the bottom ... don't go into a window in a window to put things into your storage ... use the keybind to move the whole stack.
Was confused at first. On the Switch it’s the R button that will move all that you already have in storage and ZR to have your storage go from alphabetical to type in case you want to look for things a different way.
Nice to know about about moving the crops. This will help with the hybrid flowers. I am at a lose on the bees for new fruit trees. I add bees and don’t see anything happening except the bees will disappear after a time. I’ve checked the fruit stall guy and all my crafting makers, nothing. I know that we will get new fruit trees, maybe the game needs to progress further. I just won’t put anymore bees in those just the honey hive instead.

Same!!
Same. I like doing my game my way. I will do my farm, mine and if I want do a random quest if I want. I might even do a shipment.
Same! It’s way less annoying. Cut scenes always were the worst to me. I can just skip through, get what I need and get out. Love it

That's a good way to think about it ^^

Oh good to know! Thank you!

I’ve done that as well. I told her to tale a swim. Haha.
Thank you for another good tip!

Agree I’m addicted
Oh thanks! I will definitely keep this tip in mind when farming!
Me tooooo. My bedtime should be like 10:30 but I have been staying up till like 1am playing 😅
The tip about moving your flower garden plots even if flower seeds are in them is GREAT thank you!
You're welcome! It was a big help for me too haha
I love how almost everything in this game has a purpose, like even the furniture. Normally I'm very lazy with decorations and don't really care about it, but this game makes me want to decorate😂 well it's mostly for the buffs but still...
Potion permit deco make me look poor af even until the end of the game... no deco in my house....
Same! I hated ACNH bc I’m not a decorater yet suddenly since it has a purpose I’m down for it. Also working for the furniture is really cool

I just got FaeFarm for Switch. There was free Trial for Online members and I fell in love with this game! 🥰🎉

these were my only complaints as well. also wish it paused while i was in my storage
@@hayley.rose17Yes in any of these screens it definitely should pause. Slightly frustrating because I feel the need to rush around
I agree about the petting/brushing. After I pet my cottontail, I have to back away and then go up to it again to get the prompt to brush;;
I am actually hoping that there is some kind of auto pet and auto collect for barn animals in the future

Thank so much for this video! I just got this game for my birthday this weekend! I wanted it ever since I saw u stream the early release version!!
I hope you have a wonderful birthday! You're definitely going to love Fae Farm!
The intuitive tools change option goes so hard. I'll definitely try the game in the near future

Glad to help! And i agree about it running well. Deeeeefinitely an improvement from DDV haha... sadly..
love playing this game! so relaxing and fun! going through the flowers now!
As someone who just downloaded this game today this video is super helpful! Thank you❤
thank you for this toph.
If you do go to bed before midnight you get a buff in the morning that replenishes your energy during the day
Yes! I forgot to include that in this video but it's been very helpful in my playthrough so far :D
Biggest thing I learned is that during the tutorial time is stopped and energy is unlimited. I clear everything I can on the farm then go gather resources outside the farm before continuing the story
Still mad that I didn't clear my entire farm on day one!!
Omgosh I was too! Lol when my kid started I made sure to tell them to clear and collect EVERYTHING even if you have to keep going home to put it away…
I'm still not 100% sure if I'll get Fae Farm myself yet, but if I do, I'll be sure to come back to this vid. Really helpful tips, Toph!
There will be DLC content coming in the future so I think there will be lots of waves to jump into it!
Thank you so much
I wish the day lasted a bit longer. I feel rushed, so not so cozy. FYI 1 day is about 20 minutes of play. Other than that it’s a nice game.
I feel exaktly the same way 😣 But does it have any consequences if you skip days (do other stuff) and dont do quests? Or are some quests only solveable if you are in a particular season or something?
I do agree that days are short. Luckily, the no end day penalty takes a little of the anxiety away for me.
Already bought it and had an extended day 1 gathering EVERYTHING :)
We love to see it ^^b
Thanks for the video ❤
Great tips!
I loved all the tips
Thank you!
:o this might make me wanna get it.
Really good video with lots a great tips/info. Thanks!
Yes! Thank you for this! About to make this my plane game for my next trip and hoping for hyperfocus nirvana haha.
I think it'll definitely make the flight go by quickly because it's very addicting lol
Great video 11:33
That help I am stuck is a good tip lol
This game looks so cute!!! Great video and tips 🩷

I know about that! I just did it the way I did in the video to show more clearly how things stack differently from pocket to storage ^^
Nice to know about about moving the crops. This will help with the hybrid flowers. I am at a lose on the bees for new fruit trees. Thank you so much for this video it was really helpful ❤
I'm really glad it was helpful! Hope you're enjoying the game ^^
I saw this game on switch pre order b4 it came out really love the look of it and can not wait to try it
I need to stop watching stuff about Fae Farm, the temptation to get the game grows stronger each time
Get it. 100% worth it
I’m so glad for this tips and tricks video!
I'm so excited to play this game, I just wish I could get the standard edition on switch!
Yeah it's a shame that's not a thing. Must be something on Nintendo's end :T
Thx for the tips!
