Great video! I just bought a K22ce and couldn’t be happier. Beautiful beautiful instrument!
good choice! enjoy it! let me know how do you like it!
rollysguitars thanks. It’s definitely got a rich, warm and vibrant sound. Warm and powerful bass and clear and crisp on higher end. Nice easy action. Not to mention the looks! I love that the sound will only get better too.
@@SJ-ik2xw You right! Absolutely! Those are the great values that I love about Taylor's Koa guitars! Enjoy it!
Just watched this and ordered a K22ce, been thinking about it for months and finally took the plunge. You have a great style of presenting BTW.
All the best!
Thanks Harry!!!
@@rollysguitars The guitar is an absolute dream!!!
Hey you are a f***in awesome guy , and for those who about to rock ..we salute you bro ...please don't stop and keep the good work 🎸☠️🤘 NAS
Thanks Buddy! Thanks for watching!!
The Rosewood 812ce has more crisper sounds, but K22ce Koa Guitar is more warmer, both bright sounding.
I agree 100%! Thanks for watching!
Nice video mate, thanks. They are both awesome, maybe the Koa a little more rounded. I have the 812ce 12-fret with X bracing. This is the X class right? Might you know how the 812 would hold up next to a martin 00015sm 12-fret? I love the Taylor but was thinking of swapping for the 12-fret Martin because it has that all mahogany deep tone
Yes this the X class! Thanks for watching!!
Watching with Guinness, cats, and kidlets.... My 214 is in for refrets :( but this brightened my day. :) Beautiful guitars!
thanks Mate! enjoy your guitar when you get it back!
How about a 12-fret K22ce that would give you the best of the two worlds?
Sounds like a good plan :-)
"It looks bloody amazing" 5:50
It does yeah :-)
The K22ce is the absolute best guitar I've ever played. She's my baby
Yeah man! I love it too! Thank for watching! Hope you enjoyed my video :-)
Absolutely! I watched this video prior to buying it. I own Gibson Customs that don't compare to this fragile angel! Thank you so much for this beautiful video!
Would you order one online without having played it first?
@@rosskstar that's how i ordered mine
@@jeremycanaday8584 that helps - thx
So Rolly, how do you think a 12 fret K22ce V-series would perform?
Would the V bracing bring the middle up for more balance? And would you order such a beast online without playing it first?
I think that is a guitar for life! I would order one without a shadow of a doubt :-) Taylor guitars got a great quality control...thanks for watching!
@@rollysguitars Do you think the gloss finish hurts the tonal qualities vs a thinner, matte? I know Seagull boasts of their thinner finishes that let the wood freely resonate.
@@rosskstar I wouldn't care about that. I have great sounding non-nitro guitars here in my studio. It's not about the finish.
@@rollysguitars I got it stuck in my head from Seagull's boasting of their very thin finishes. Thanks for the help!.....and "Seek Jehovah while he may yet be found" - read, pray, learn >> JW at the ORG
cheers
Which one would sound better with strumming and live stage playing?
The 812ce is louder and has more midrange so that cuts through a noisy environment better.
...fuck, the dark lady i like at first sight and from first sound
yes! Koa wood is such a great tone wood!
The 812 sounded better with a slightly darker tone.
It's darker yes, and louder, punchier but has less bass...
I have the 714 and it has more bass than the 812. This is from being a larger guitar and the Lutz spruce top. Your playing is superb.
@@budpaddock9503 thanks!
And the winner is...KITTY!!!!!
I'm more of a canine person. Cat's have staff, dogs love when I come home!!
I love my Bourbon, but dogs rule...
I see what you mean. I love animals but hate human-animals...there are far too many outside...
@@rollysguitars I relate to animals better than humans. Too many humans are oxygen thieves! Animals know a corrupt person....
@@electroKrunch yes it's exactly how I feel too.
Why does all the 12 fretguitars sound boomy with recording??
