- Two Dogue de Bordeaux brothers Turner and Hooch have been abandoned in a English back garden for two weeks with no food. Animal rescue are called out and they are heartbroken too find both dogs emaciated. Tuner and Hooch are terrified and the dog rescuers have to use all their skills to save these dogs and rush them to the vet for a good meal.

I’m very impressed that someone on a passing train spotted a dog and did what they could to help, and that the call was taken seriously despite not having a precise location. Kudos also to the passersby who went in after the dog.
I tethered my “pit bull” outside of a store, and within two minutes someone checked to make sure he wasn’t abandoned…I was so pleased to know that if he was in need of assistance there are people so willing to help.
Lucky a nice person stopped! It could have been a dog thief too!
In Australia its illegal to tie up any dog outside shops. People pinch yr pet for horrible reasons, the dog can get a fright and bite kids etc, then yr dog gets put to sleep

I bring my pup everywhere with me. Even the pharmacy drive through knows she's a regular, and they've got treats for her. Once I had to go indoors at the postal office, so I tied her to a tree and ran inside to ship an item. I was inside no more than 40 seconds, and a gentleman was releasing her assuming she'd been dumped. He was happy to see me as he'd just shown up, and he thought my pup had been abandoned. It made me sad that so many people do anandon dogs, who've been nothing but faithful, loyal companions. It also encouraged me, knowing so many care and will quickly step in to help a pup. I told him, she's my girl and I'm keeping her...she's my lil sidekick. Dogs are such a gift and give such unconditional ❤️ love.
I would adopt Turner and Hooch in a heartbeat if they were here in the U.S.
They are so nice, and handsome dogs. For someone to allow them to get in that shape is a crime.
My understanding is that most will ship if you take both! I'd at least call the ASPCA.
Plenty of turner and hooch,s in the USA that need homes desperately. Just go to a local animal shelter near u.

From my experince they are really good companions and lovely personalities. Baffeles me that humans can do this. Im still believe dogs are put here on earth to make humanity better❤🙏❤

Honestly Turner and Hooch were clearly neglected in that their owner starved them, thankfully small feedings often got them back in shape and it'll take time for their muscles to be ok, thanks for helping these two sweet boys!!
Every time I see a rescued animal go from broken to living the comfort life, my soul is restored.

I am always so heartwarmed when I hear of an owner, who instead of allowing their dog to live in an unhealthy situation, or abandoning them, they put the dogs needs first, even if it is painful to give them away.
Thank you for caring for all the babies of my heart! I will never understand how "HUMANS" can abandon their animals. No excuse is good enough. God bless you for all your hard work.

Oh, dear God, that Dalmatian looks just like the one my sister lost three years ago. Maggie was her name. My sister has not been out of her house since. Excuse me Iam crying. I miss Maggie and my sister. She won't even answer the phone. Not even at Xmas.
This breed is so rare in my country. There are incredibly long waiting lists for pups. I'd have given my eye teeth for the honor of homing one of them. The cruelty of leaving them alone and unfed is astounding. These dogs bind to their owners on a level that many won't understand. The betrayal of their loyalty will affect them for a long time to come. They won't easily trust again. It will take a very special person to alleviate their distrust. As a pure guardian breed they will also mourn the loss of the person they regarded as their charge. Breaks my heart...

This was recommended after I watched a video where LA Guinea Pig Rescue had some cavies abandoned overnight during a freeze and one died before the rescue even knew about them, I'm so glad now I can watch puppies being saved on time.

Pepper later found an appropriate home where they meet her needs & THE JONES feel completely in LOVE WITH PEPPER... and VISA VERSA!
The Mastiff brothers are beautiful. I had a brindle Bull Mastiff. Most gentle dog I have ever had. I had a chance to get 1 again. I would get another.
There is a urgent need for a foster place for a mastif in a kill shelter in Italy. If you could give a foster place, I could give you the contact. It is a very sweet and gentel dog...You could get in contact with me over facebook.
We have an American Mastiff x lab and he is the best family dog. So gentle, my daughter can hand feed him (when he had a cone on).
My rescue is Bull mastiffs and Rotty mix. Most loving and loyal dog ❤
Sooo sad that anyone can abandon and starve these handsome boys🥺I got my Bruno as a rescue from the same conditions luckily I got him when I did and he’s such a blessing to have. He has separation anxiety and with all my kids gone in school he’s got me all to himself 🥰 definitely a loyal breed

Ive owned 2 french mastiffs. Barney and misty. They look super scary running. But their demeanor is exactly like these 2. Mellow love doggos. Fantastic family dogs.

I'm an expat, and now live in Berlin, and can't adopt, as when I lived in England, and adopted a cat, and a wonderful 'mixed terrier', who both lived to become 'old pensioners'! RIP Tortoise the cat (my boys named her?!!) and Jessica the dog!

@@tandiparent1906 yes, we have lots of animal shelters here..too sad, people got lots of animals during quarantine, now the sheltets filling up with these Quarantine-pets. Thry wanted them for amusement, now they don't need them anymore..sooo sad for these pets

You cannot believe how many people are volunteering for the love of animals. I'm one of those people, as are all of my colleagues at Mason County Humane Society in Washington state. No amount of money could match the feeling of seeing critters taken care of and thriving. Thank you for adopting. 🐾
You know a drone would be an awesome tool to use to find the dogs in the situations such as the one stuck in the water way.

ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING!! What gentle, sweet ,tempered dogs.!! I hope their owner gets charged with Animal Abuse, and given the maximum sentence, not just, a slap on the wrist. How anybody could do this is inexcusable. its criminal!! .But why did none of the neighbors call or do anything either?? with how close those houses are, people had to have known they were there???? WHY didn;t anybody do something ??? for two weeks??? That's what's wrong with people today!!!! Id take both these boys in a heartbeat if I could....Send them to Canada!!!!

We have a liitle boy that looks like Betty. He's six months old, blind, sassy and all love. We're blessed to have him.
I am so proud there are so so many who help in rescue and saving these precious babies. I so hope that people will stop thinking dogs and cats as rubbish. They are here to be loved as our companions. . Please love them and keep them safe and vet cared at all times. Thank you we love you❤️❤️❤️💕💕

Thanks for the great vid on these heartwarming stories. I'm sad they separated Turner & Hooch. I understand they're probably trying to acclimate them to being separate so they can adopt them out separately but I think anyone who would take one of them would be able to take them both. Should be together.

I’m so glad to see the thorough care plan for Turner and Hooch. Refeeding Syndrome is so incredibly serious and real. I had never heard of it until working with some amazing critical care veterinarians. I wish everyone knew of it and the seriousness.

I had a male shih tzu from the time he was 6 weeks old and he passed away July 2021, the longer his hair grew, he would get mopey and sad...his groomer was his other love 💕 I miss my buddyroo 💔

My Astro, DDB mix, came to us from a very similar state of neglect... it took us a while to deal with his anxiety (mastiffs can be really emotional dogs), but he bounced back in shape right away, thanks to his incredible sweet tooth 😉

How can anyone do something so horrible to these beautiful animals? They are not just trash you can throw out. There is no excuse for how these poor babies were found in. It's terrible . No food, no shelter. How the hell can anyone do this???? Turner and Hooch are sweethearts. They are just scared. You can see how sweet they are, they are just terrified.
