I just watched an Astro/ Safari video where the guy swapped out his deluxe door panels (the ones with carpet accents?) for base model ones because he said the base model arm rests don't crack. Good to know!
Do you have a video on how to repair or replace the key hole where the key goes in to unlook the door? Someone tried to open my astro by forcing a key inside and twisting hard. Now my key wont turn.
Oh so I got to replace door actuator and not the remote 😅. I wish you had showed the placement of the rods inside the door that connects to the key lock in case it pops out and person cannot open their door from the outside using their key.
Just want to ask you my remote works on opening the doors except the back but my inside lock does not work but I can hear my actuators working when I use my remote so I'm a bit confused do I need to change the actuator that is working with my remote but not on my door what should I do
Thank you 🙏 for your video. I have a ‘99 Chevy Astro van drivers side door that won’t open from either inside or outside.
Great video. I need to do this on one of my doors! Thank You!
Thanks for the video, surprise your arm rest is still in good shape all I have seen are cracked.

Cool
Nice, real nice! :P Was the new bracket threaded, it was hard to tell? If so, what size was the thread?
Yeah, the clips on the bracket are threaded M6. The 10mm headed bolts held a GM S15 fender in place.
@@booper2ca That makes things a whole lot simpler!
Hey genius… what year is this vehicle? A description in the video post would be nice.
At the start of the video he says it a 2000 GMC Safari.
Picky points a genius
