got a 2002 for my band, bout to drive from anchorage to fairbanks tomorrow, and this simple to-the-point video got the rear door open. thank you daughter and dad. if only changing the plugs were this simple :-D
@@kenairockband interesting. you mean dome lights? my headlights are always on -- you can't turn them off. so maybe it's power related? key in, engine off, turned on?
Thanks for posting this video. I have a 2000 Astro van. Had the same problem. the pin came out of the bottom actuator. I wrapped it with a little bit of electrical tape stuck it back in it's there forever. I now once again have access to the rear hatch. THANKS AGAIN !!!!!
My Astro has an issue where the lift gate release button won't do anything. No power to the button, it won't turn with the key either. The actuator is fine, there's just no power going to it. The key fob works all the locks except the lift gate, any ideas what my problem could actually be?
I have a 1995 Astro Van...The hatchback window will not lock into place when shut. I can not find any video fix solution(s). The key will turn and I hear and feel the electric motor click move. About a week before this issue. The hatchback top window would not shut evenly. It seemed like the top window panel ( hatchback) was "warped," I though that perhaps the hot summer weather had expanded the metal? The hatchback opens and closes with no problems. It just will not latch into place. Any solution please? Thank you in advance, I appreciate your time.
That is a very clear and precise video and Jennifer is good with those wrenches. Now I will go outside and fix my van window. Thank you Don.🗝🗝
