Thanks for joining me on this trek through the Palm Beach Zoo Tropics of the Americas! Curious as what everyone's thoughts are on themed regional exhibits housing species not native or found in the region? If you are new to the channel here's another video to get you started - ua-cam.com/video/U2sKOrRUwxo/v-deo.html
Wow! So many rainforest species in the exotic looking tropical paradise. So much to see here. Would love this zoo. Thanks Brad. Be safe. Bill and DeAnna
No, I didn't. that was my first visit at the beginning of May. I think the komodo dragon is where the Bush Dogs were. I haven't seen two many Bush Dogs I'm America, St. Louis at one point. The other times was in Japan
Cool! I love this zoo (went there 4 years ago) This year I am going to Miami, what are some of the best animal attractions there? I heard Miami zoo has hyenas, definitely going there
Zoo miami is very nice all around, just keep in mind it's a lot of walking. If the african animals are your must see go right at the end of the tiger exhibit. They have Dholes as well as hyenas, with large exhibits for all the African and Asian animals. Check out the times they have rhino feedings. Asian aviary is nice, as well as otter/jaguar cove area. Mission everglades is alot of fun, has a tunnel to crawl through to see the American crocodiles. My favorite is Amazon and beyond. (though I'm a fan of new world exhibits) there's three different areas for that, ask when they will feed the giant otters that is a ton of fun to watch.
@@ZoosTravelers I also love new world exhibits! I love canids and hyenas in particular so I am excited to visit this zoo. Also would love to see the otter feeding! Any other ideas for animal attractions in the Miami or key west area? Thank you!
Monkey jungle is around that area, you might look that one up. Not sure if it's reopened yet. I haven't visited these two but they are on my radar: the Miami Seaquarium and the Frost Museum has a collection of aquariums inside it I've heard several people talk about ZWF Miami, but I know little about that place. Miami swim with dolphins tour is another to look into.
@@ZoosTravelers I looked at all of them, they look really cool! I probably won’t visit the seaquaroum because of the orcas tho...thank you for helping!

I learned that at one point in time, the Palm Beach Zoo had Bush Dogs. Did you ever get the chance to see them?
