Thanks for the overview. I'm glad to hear some of the steps that Glasgow is taking to be more transparent. One thing, however. Xiran's pronouns are they/them, not she/her.

As one of the authors of the report, I wanted to reach out and THANK YOU for a very fair and concise explanation of what happened in the past few days.
As a subject of scrutiny AND a Hugo Winner in the Best Fan Writer category last year, I was in the very odd position of trying to chronicle something I was an up close and personal participant in.
I knew almost immediately I could not do this on my own.
Luckily, I chose to involve my friend and fellow journalist Jason Sanford to help co-author the report.
Also, we both profusely thank Diane Lacey, without whom we would still know NOTHING about what went on behind the scenes.

The two of you did an incredible job, I'm hugely impressed by what a thorough job it was especially given how close you were to the topic and how easy it would have been to drop the objectivity.
It's your work that has given the Hugos a chance to recover, it's the kind of fact gathering and communication that makes videos like this very easy to make off the back of.
So thank you for that, and here's hoping this will be a page turned for the community.
They got Xiran's surname WRONG in those dialogs about censoring! Not misspelled, they actively kept calling them "Zhoa" instead of Zhao, like come on dude it's 4 fricking letters!
Thank you for the explanation, I saw Chuck Tingle speaking up in the defense of disqualified authors but not actual explanation was out yet! This is so upsetting, hopefully the Hugos can recover, wishing you luck in Glasgow
