Probably one of the most relative and comprehensive videos on installation of crown molding. Appreciated watching measuring and cutting both right side and left side inside corners. Thank you

he made a few mistakes the right side cut is on the left side looking at the wall or put your back to the wall and right is right left is left another tip is if you pull down with your left hand its a left cut and right its a right

Make note, that is an Edge finder. When it lights/tones moving left to right make a mark, when the light turns off make a mark. The center between the marks is the center of the stud. That will save missed nails or sagging crown years down the road.

Tip; After you have cut the crown to the correct length, paint it. You can fill in nail holes later and touch them up with paint. Doing it this way is much easier than painting it once it's up

On another kreg video , it showed the right side corner . The guy actually called it a left inside corner cut. You are calling it a right inside corner cut. Which is correct? A right inside cut, the jig is placed left of the saw.

I have a outside c wall that boxes in a vent pipe. It is not long enough for the kreg angle finder to place around the outside corner. Suggestions?

Good video and a couple of tips....first, put up a furring strip up against the corner of the wall and the ceiling, it makes nailing the moulding MUCH easier and secure, second...PRIME AND PAINT BEFORE you nail! Nothing worse than seeing paint on the ceiling because you were lazy at the start!

I HIGHLY recommend using the Sawset protractor. No math needed! Check out the videos on SAWSET TOOLS channel.
