This is not the Middle Ages. The fact that she is related to Ariel Castro does not make her guilty. The fact that she didn't figure out what he was up to does not make her guilty (And she was not the only one who went into that house and didn't figure it out). This girl seems very sincere. i doubt she knew anything about it. but one of the younger daughters i seen interviewed seemed shady. but then again who knows how youl act after finding out youre dad did something so evil. Maybe she did know but was scared maybe she was a victim of the father herself.
But we dont know anything and these girls shouldnt be treated like some people are treating them. Just because they are his daughters doesnt mean they are guilty also. I have plenty of bad people in my family. some worse than others, but that doesnt mean im a bad person myself.
Also where you get the info about Michelle saying the daughter knew something? just wondering cuz i havent heard that anywhere.

not related but my father didnt kidnap or anything but he did go to jail. for anger issues attacking someone with a metal pole. this was like in the 90s before my dad passed away. its kinda weird to think my dad went to jail. none of my friends dads been to jail or at least not that i know of. i never tell my friends my dad went to jail. when i was little i always saw him as too violent and abusive. if i said something wrong he would slap me hard on the face. or if i complained about something in a store he would spank me so hard. my first time in grade 1 class i was whining about being in class. he went to get a ruler right in front of the class on the ledge of the chalkboard and threatened me. that was embarassing. the teacher wasnt in the room but the kids were. if i even said something small like WHAT THE HELL hed get a coat hanger and gave me mulitple hard beating on my thighs and butt. it hurt like hell! so i didnt really miss him much when he passed away.

I just watched the interview with her father's brother in law and all he had to say was.. poor Ariel was depressed and how he missed his daughter and how his family suffer (after his suicide). Without an ounce of compassion to these girls nor taking account how God awful his actions were.
But his daughter acknowledging from the depth of her soul how horrible the actions of her father and the level of compassion she had for the girls. She will provide some needed healing for these girls as I'm sure they saw this video. Most families minimize the actions of the perpetrators because they don't wanna see them a different way but his daughter truly kept it real.

She's very sincere. Ariel's actions affected so many people's lives, including his own family's. It's in their no way the family's fault, especially if they had no way of knowing anymore than anyone else. The only ones who had any clue whatsoever that he was up to anything were his next-door neighbors, and even still, all they could have had were unfounded suspicions. No one really knew anything until it was exposed.

+DivasKOThemes I read every single book. Castro is a fucking coward!!! I will still scream, they were put in the backyard where the neighbors saw them scream, do something. I was held captive for 4 days and tortured So I understand what they were going through, but I consider myself lucky. My way of thinking was if I'm going to die I'm not going out like this, it's not over until it's over I thought. all 3 girls could of took him out!!!! and I was only 14 too.

+DivasKOThemes honestly, I believe they gave up because there were times where they were dancing around the house trying to keep themselves occupied. 3 girls against his fat ass. I'm sorry, but I had to try. all I'm saying is try to do something Castro was a coward!

I would feel guilty that I didn't see the signs and be able to have helped them. Thank God she don't feel that way because in no way would it have been her fault.

So I'm from Cleveland around that time I went to school at Big Creek Elementary (Middleburg Heights) during the abduction I was in 4th Grade and I had issues with the bus driver at that time, she used to pick with me and even kicked me off the bus PERMANENTLY because I had missed school once a week for my big sis little sis program and would walk home only that one day a week. Ironically after being banned off the bus a man with a trench coat and a hat glasses driving a white car used to pull up at the curb come out of the car with a shovel and stand there waiting for me as I would just flock to him lol.. I would then end up running those 2 or 3 times he would get end up doing this and get back into his car and driving around the block looking for me at one point.. Ariel Castro was ALSO a bus driver.. I could have been one of those girls

Although some patterns like violence can be perpetuated from one family member to another, there is no such thing as "monster blood".
