Really, it’s like turning against her whole world she have been used to and ever known ,, not knowing what’s the reality really .. those angels deserve much more :(
Lord Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, please don’t worship celebrities and entertainment, focus on Him alone. I promise there’s more to life than money, partying, homosexuality and music. Hell is real, repent from sinning confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, I know He will if you’re sincere. Anyone who thinks the Name of Lord Jesus Christ is a joke, boldly mocks and scorns Him or takes pleasure in people who do is in for a big unpleasant surprise on judgement day IF they don’t repent and follow Lord Jesus Christ. Hell is very hot, people please repent! In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen 🙏💪✝️💜❤️✝️! Idolatry such as, Islam, Catholicism, Sangomaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Santa Clausism, Confucianism, New Age, Science, Evolution, halloweenism, Harry Potterism, Politics, Donald Trumpism, Easter Bunnyism and other religions/faiths that are outside Biblical Christianity lead to hell! Don’t believe them, believe the Almighty God the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, who begot Him. Our Creator, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is mighty, He doesn’t need a woman to beget a son, He is God. I choose to put my faith in a God who can do anything and everything, a God who has unlimited and infinite power to beget! So, it’s time to confess that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord and to believe that He died and rose from the grave after three days and you shall be saved if you only obey Him by praying, worshipping, praising, reading the Bible and living holy and righteously according to the Bible. You have to endure until the end, carry your cross daily and build your relationship with God by following Lord Jesus daily until the end. You must never renounce your faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, there’s hell awaiting those who reject/deny Lord Jesus Christ and those who continue living sinfully, even the Christians who don’t want to repent will face the same fate, so please repent beloved people, in Lord Jesus Christ’s mighty and precious Name, Amen.

I HATED that lady not answering her. She’s obviously needing to know that she can be heard, why would you not immediately answer?? Why are the WORST people 911 operators?
@@shelbygrimm6281 They need to be precise and get the right information. Their job is not psychological help. Her job was to make her keep talking until help arrived. If she hung up because the operator was talking to much it would be game over and then she would be definitly be at fault.
She acted like that because she most likely never used a cellphone and it's very confusing to hear nothing at the other side because you have no feedback, no idea if they are still there. It's quite sad how she was 17 and did not knew the most basic things of civil life. "I don't know what medication is". Jesus, think about that phrase.
A lot of abused people can come off as overly polite because of the abuse they went through. She probably had to be polite and well behaved because if she spoke out of turn or raised her voice to her parents the abuse would have been more severe.

@lilith lilith there is a reason why her voice is like that. Its often a sign of an abusive home or some traumatic experience that leaves young women frozen in time.
@@FadedDream6969 yeah women who usually speak in a child voice are often sexually abused , they never leave that mindset or headspace. they can’t move on because it’s so traumatic. and also could be her not socializing with anyone and never going to school , so her speech never developed much.
The fact that Jordan, a teenage girl who had almost no knowledge of the outside world and was deeply terrified of her parents finding her or the police turning her away, she actually tried to prepare herself in order to save her siblings by collecting the envelope, recording the abuse, and explaining everything to police. I’m so glad the police took her seriously and helped these kids, but Jordan is a true heroic young woman. I’m so happy she’s living a better life and has a successful career.
For real. For someone who had almost no education and was probably somewhat brain-damaged from malnourishment, Jordan was incredibly smart to be as prepared as she was. Edit: I watched a documentary that said she got advice from her sister! So Jennifer gets credit too 🙂 Jordan was still smart to even have the idea to get advice from her.
Cops in Texas didn't! The first child escaped nearly two decades prior, and Texas police returned her to the home without even beginning a basic investigation. She was imprisoned for another twenty years after that.
@@rayc9899 if you watched the recent report on them, some of the kids are still in an unsafe situation. It’s so sad bc people need to answer for the disappearance of all of the money and supplies donated to help these children get acclimated to life. Even the 33-year old needs help bc she’s never been out of the house and she doesn’t know how to take care of herself. You hear Jordan say, “I’ve never spoken to anyone before”. She didn’t know what a sidewalk was and she gave her zip code as her address. These kids will need years of help.
Tf does not talking to anyone have to do with saving her siblings lmao. Like if you getting abused you can always call the cops. Not the hardest right?
@@practicalcucumber1395 you’re right. It’s not hard, if you have basic knowledge of how the world works, but these kids have never spoken to anyone outside of their family. The only reason she even knew how to call 911 was bc she snuck a video of the tv show Cops and they said, “call 911 if you’re in trouble”. If she would not have seen the show, she wouldn’t know how to call the cops, at all. This is not your ordinary 20/33 year-old with basic communication skills. They have no life or survival skills bc their parents kept them in the house at all times and only the older kids were allowed phones with basic features, so the parents could call them while they were out drinking and partying. She stole the phone to help herself and her siblings escape the constant abuse and chains.

I fully sympathize with and understand Jordan as a violent father in North Korea and as a person who risked his life to South Korea to find freedom and escape dictatorship and tyranny. My father was a Navy officer who often beat four brothers and my mother, including me. When I was young, I was forced to perform in the card section of the system propaganda, and if we made a mistake during practice, we were chained like Jordan and beaten severely by soldiers. I live in Siheung, South Korea (near Seoul), and here in South Korea, it is heaven. I even feel guilty because I feel like I'm living too rich in South Korea. Like Jordan, I secretly watched South Korean videos in North Korea and opened my eyes to the outside world, and that's when I decided to defect. When I was watching the drama, I saw South Korea so nice that I thought, "Why am I living here like this?" Unfortunately, however, I still left my two brothers in the north, and my mother was shot dead by Chinese soldiers while crossing the Yalu River. Please don't let Jordan's brothers suffer from the sadness of family dissolution like me. Like Jordan, when I walked on the streets of Seoul for the first time in South Korea, I felt that this was heaven. I hope that the deification and brainwashing of Kim Il-sung will be lifted and that freedom will be settled in North Korea. North Korea is the California horror house and is expanded to the national level. There could be mistranslation, so I will write down it with Korean at the bottom. @sholalove6478 Thanks so much for sending prayers. Why I'm feeling guilty is that my little sister was captured by police in China and sent to North Korea again. Maybe she was taken to a political prison camp (as horrible as Auschwitz) or shot. My siblings can't enjoy a happy life like me. And so many people are still suffering from starvation and tyranny. You can tell from the phone call, that she's trying as hard as possible to be clear, to make sure she's heard properly. It's like when you get that one opportunity
Despite how isolated her parents made her, she still grew up smart and brave and it's just amazing to me she managed to pull herself and her siblings out of this situation.
yeah you can tell that she doesnt have much speaking practice and talks like a 6 year old but that's completely normal with the life she had. shame she became a tik toker from what I heard though
@@Voldemorts.Nipple why is it shameful that she became a tiktoker, though? After all she went through, she deserves to do what she deserves wants to do.
My heart breaks for what her & her sisters must have gone through, but huge respect for the level of bravery she showed by coming forward and telling her story like this.
Yeah my mom forced me to be homeschooled I talked to a friend THE SAME AGE AS ME that I haven't talked to in a few years she sounded like a teen (11) and I sounded like a 6 year old (11)
I was just thinking the same thing. She really did sound no older than 10. So sad. She’s definitely learning but you can still tell she didn’t learn to talk and didn’t learn social skills as she grew up like most of us. She’s doing a great job though. I wonder if she’ll ever be able to really trust anyone after this. Her own parents did this. The very people you’re supposed to be able to trust and completely depend on. The parents are freaking animals. Worse than animals really!
She's so panicked and overwhelmed with adrenaline that she's struggling to breathe and trying to collect her thoughts while she's talking to the operator and the cop. And just the fact that she's apologizing for "talking too much" in a situation where you HAVE to tell every single detail and keep talking is so revealing of how she's been treated.
The 911 operator was extremely unprofessional, when she asked ‘can you hear me?’, ‘Did you get that?’ She didn’t even say yes and her tone when she said ‘How are they abusing you?’ sounded to me like she couldn’t be bothered and didn’t really believe her and then the officer who jumped to conclusions about her being on medication and offered no reassurance whatsoever.

All children deserve parents. But not all parents deserve children. The nerve of these parents to dare have one child nevermind 13. Too many kids suffered.

Anyone who hasn't yet reached puberty, is in the stage before pubescence, i.e. "pre-pubescent". Get it? In a normal adolescent, 17 would not be pre-pubescent, puberty typically starts around 12-14 in females and around 13 in males. However, this girl would not have reached puberty at that age, and would have had severely delayed pubescence. Because of the malnutrition she endured, her body would put off puberty until it was able to sustain it. Therefore, she hadn't yet reached puberty when she escaped and was "pre-pubescent" (pre-puberty). That's why she sounded like a little girl instead of a normal 17 year old female. @P S Her voice is that of your standard severely abused by neglect child. They even develop their own words and languages amongst each other to avoid the wrath of abusive parents. Not very powerful IMO. Maybe because you just don't know this is a common trait among people who are abused.

The innocence in the kid’s voice while she was on call with 911 is so heartbreaking to witness, like how can a parent horrify their vulnerable kids to the point that they are terrified of them. Truly heartbreaking, so glad the kids got out of this despicable situation.
Unfortunately they will probably get to know the hard way, that not all people outside the house of horrors are good and trustworthy. They might have thought that the outside world is a paradise, which it is not, unless you are surrounded by very good people only.
“Have you seen the gun?” “No, but they’ve talked about it” That made my heart sink. The idea that these people have “talked about” a gun with their own kids is absolutely disgusting.
I have dealt with similar cases but nothing this severe. She sounded child like because her growth had been stunted via lack of food, sleep and was abused during the child's formative years in short. Once from the nightmare, she prospered with adequate nutrition, nurturing and able to sleep soundly for example. Her I.Q. most likely increased 20% in perhaps 2 years.
she is grown up mature and brave, but i highly doubt they were given much schooling or opportunity at full conversation, so if she hadn't grow up in the outside world, she probably wouldn't be used to the subtilties of conversation etc.
For someone who’s been so isolated she sounded so mature and naturally intelligent on the phone knowing subconsciously exactly what she needed to do and say to the police to get the help she needed

I made conversation with a young female at the grocery store yesterday. When I got in my car it clicked and I knew it was Jordan. She seemed to be doing well acclimating to life and was such a lovely young woman.
A young man in the comment section below referred to Jordan as an airhead? Please keep in mind, she was also held in captivity for all her 17 years of life. She never had proper schooling, was chained up herself and never even had a conversation with a stranger. Overall, her ability to surpass that including her courage to contact the authorities is far from being an airhead. To think she didn't even know what medication or pills were. What is sad is the people that jump to a conclusion without filtering what they actually post. This young lady will go very far in life. Thank God!
They also point out later in the interview that Jordan finished high school in a single year and described her as a fast learner. She’s definitely intelligent. The poor thing was just so horribly stunted.
That young man has spoken loudly about his own moral ineptitude to everyone here. To look at someone who has been so courageous in the face of extreme abuse and respond in a way that expresses dominance - that’s what the David Turpins of the world do.

She really proves that no matter how bad you think your life is, there are always people with hard/worse ones that are pushing through, and you should too Edit: I’m not tryna say she has a worse life or anything just that she survived near death experiences by perseverance.
@@dr2599 yes I agree with everyone, but in my case I have a fear these sorta things so I couldn’t help but share how I feel. Thanks for you feedback though
A person with a traumatic life does definitely NOT prove any point about what another completely person may be going through. Trauma is not there to guilt trip any human ever, stop using peoples stories to undermine other suffering. Dios santo
She exposed EXACTLY why abused people hesitate to speak up. The 911 operator and policeman show no emotion and grill her with questions and put her on the defensive. She is NEVER assured by the 911 operator that if she was indeed abused, she would not be sent back there. I called 911 on a violent spouse. I wish I hadn't bothered. They were worse than useless. We are told to report. But there is little protection and very often the abuser flips the story so the abused ends up in trouble. The system is broken. Bravo to this girl for her perseverance and bravery.
Exactly what I thought. I would not have called because I would not think they would be live me. In many cases they arrest, harass, demean, do not believe, the victims. Put them right back w abuser usually. This is a RARE case that they actually helped her & believe her. Beautiful girl. I'm so happy she got away. Only wish this happened more often because the system is a complete joke!!
If she didn't have the photos as evidence for the abuse the policeman would most definitely take her back to the horror house thinking she is mentally ill and run away. Please listen to the kids people
This was further proven by the police cam footage of Brian Laundrie and the whole Gabby Petito case. They clearly mishandled the domestic violence situation
Dude, that’s how 911 dispatchers always sound. They’re specifically trained to remain calm in these situations and keep the person on the other end talking for as long as possible so they can reach them. What did you expect the woman to do? Just start saying “that’s awful! That totally sucks!” ? They are also not the police, they can’t assure you of anything other than the fact they will SEND police. Seriously, just listen to any other 911 call about a murder and it will sound much the same as this.
I'm so thankful she took that risk and saved herself. When she was 17 she sounded like she was 9. Now at 21, she sounds like she's 16. She's on the right track and have faith Jordan and Jennifer will be okay. I just hope the younger ones are doing okay.
As a 61 yr old man of 2 daughters and 4 grandkids 2 if which are teens. Watching this and listening to this young lady. My whole body is in shock and tears. Hiw can you do this to your own flesh and blood. My eldest granddaughter is 17. Very scary. I'm glad my daughter is nothing like this. She saved her siblings. Bless her.
I knew many parents who bragged about hitting their kids at a previous job… its disgusting but i couldnt submit a complaint because my direct boss was one of those parents and she knew i was childless
The parents should be fucking tortured to death for what they did. I know it won't fix anything but I am just so mad right now. I'd shoot them in the head if I ever saw them.
After that abuse, it will take a lot to heal. Blessings to all of the children. As a survivor of abuse as a child, in no way as bad as this, I am still working on this. We all need to pray for these children. And help any way we can.

@Kennedy Williams Ignorant comment. She sounds like a classic abuse victim who often sounds younger and tend to get emotionally get stuck at the age when abuse began.
@Kennedy Williams No she sounds like a mentally stunned 17 yr old. She sounds like she's 10 if not 8 years old. It's horrible and tragic what isolation can do.
@Kennedy Williams not really. her word usage and sentence structure was that of like a 10 year old... this has nothing to do with "media garbage' this is what isolation does to a child's development.
the 29 year old didn’t have access to smartphones and the internet the way teens do today. The difference between the two seems to be that there was a spark of hope ignited in the 17 year old from her small but important view of the outside world via the internet and social media, the 29 year old didn’t have that. Access to the outside world via smartphones didn’t really exist the same way when the 29 year old (who is now 33) was a teen. Only rich people had smart phones back in the day and nor did we have the same UA-cam community and content creators. Also, being the eldest child…it means she probably had to be Parentified in order to survive.
Basically No - that is a very compassionate and insightful response. The older siblings may have been more broken but Jordan may have benefited from them shielding her a bit so she could have a little hope grow inside her.
@@basicallyno1722 I completely agree with Chris, I think you had the most compassionate and reasonable response. As a big sister myself i have to say…. The middle sisters are always the badasses! Lol. My middle sister was always the one willing to push the boundaries.
She sounded so innocent and young while she was 17. I can only assume that was down to the abuse, isolation and treatment at the hands of her parents. What she did was so brave of her and she done so well to be so composed.
It’s absolutely incredible and heartbreaking that Jordan had the courage and the bravery to fight for herself and her siblings, being raised in a home like that their whole lives. I agree with you. I'm also a mother and I just started to cry. It's terrible to hear about children being abused by strangers, but it's so much worse when it's from their own parents. At least she had the notion that what was happening was wrong. Bless her.
How awful of you. The kids are obviously trained and using the same techniques they learned from their abusers. So fake and doe-eyed. Manipulating empathy from weak-minded people.

Some people should not be parents.
The oldest was trusted to keep the children in line, and to have a phone. That was the only reason she had a phone. I think the scariest part was the fact that they took their filthy, malnourished children to a chapel in Vegas, and no one cared. That video gives me chills 😬

When I was watching the drama, I saw South Korea so nice that I thought, "Why am I living here like this?"
Unfortunately, however, I still left my two brothers in the north, and my mother was shot dead by Chinese soldiers while crossing the Yalu River. Please don't let Jordan's brothers suffer from the sadness of family dissolution like me.

These things became big traumas (When I was a student, I saw public execution, a person being shot in the head and shot by soldiers. They fired 100 bullets, and the solid finally became liquid. Because they watched South Korean videos.)
But, I think I'm living a pretty good new life here, and I hope that Jordan could live her new life in a brilliant way, too.
To ease the guilt, I send some of my earnings to North Korea(If I deposit to the Chinese or Russian bank, the broker remit money to North Korea).

Just like on 9-11-2001 !!! The 911 dispatchers are DISGUSTING!!!! They should’ve been fired !!! Mean ASSHOLES
I'm so thankful she took that risk and saved herself. When she was 17 she sounded like she was 9. Now at 21, she sounds like she's 16. She's on the right track and have faith Jordan and Jennifer will be okay. I just hope the younger ones are doing okay.
This is heartbreaking I hope these parents spend the rest of their lives in prison
They were sentenced to 25 years to life.
Hiii
I think she’s 24 actually
yea it’s because of the trauma and she didn’t grow up properly :(
As a 61 yr old man of 2 daughters and 4 grandkids 2 if which are teens. Watching this and listening to this young lady. My whole body is in shock and tears. Hiw can you do this to your own flesh and blood. My eldest granddaughter is 17. Very scary. I'm glad my daughter is nothing like this. She saved her siblings. Bless her.
Abusive parents should be locked up for life.
They should be turned into dolphins! They need to be chained up and tortured by the kids.
Especially if a children under your care.
You are supposedly the one they can trust.
You are betraying them in one of the worst ways.
Honestly? This is worth of capital punishment not imprisonment
It's scary to think there are probably more people out there like this.

After that abuse, it will take a lot to heal. Blessings to all of the children. As a survivor of abuse as a child, in no way as bad as this, I am still working on this. We all need to pray for these children. And help any way we can.

She's so brave to save her siblings. It's appalling how the parents only serve 25 years.

The fact that she is not even the eldest sibling is so remarkable to me. What an incredibly brave, strong soul.
Right??? The oldest is 29! 29! And still a prisoner freed by the 19 year old. Like, what!!!??
the 29 year old didn’t have access to smartphones and the internet the way teens do today. Also, being the eldest child…it means she probably had to be
Parentified in order to survive.
I know some people think it’s absurd that the eldest siblings weren’t the ones to take action but I can’t imagine being the first of 15 having to face the parents alone without any siblings in the house
Yes!
It’s absolutely incredible and heartbreaking that Jordan had the courage and the bravery to fight for herself and her siblings, being raised in a home like that their whole lives. The fight that that girl has in her soul is innate, I wouldn’t like to imagine if she wasn’t born with the character she was.

As a woman who can’t have children, I can’t believe how cruel and evil some people are to their own children. Unbelievable.
