About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

With extreme sadness i am here to announce that the Content family offically died out 49 minutes ago and i was the last of us.
My name was Jonny Content and i was born to Beauty Content, a beautiful and kind mom who took care of me while also fullfiling her dream of making a paint farm for the city. We were just 9 people at the time but everything was going perfectly fine. After growing up a bit and having the means to sustain myself i thanked my mom, told her i loved her and took out to explore the city since ive never been there and only heard about it on UA-cam. After exploring, i decided i wanted to create a flower shop so i began to gather uo every material i needed for it. I chose the location, next to a flower garder owned by another lady; made walls and two doors, started to put down the stone pavement, all of this while steadily but surely getting old. While i was living in my blissfull ignorance, thinking about where to put the flowers, where the seeds and where the water, a bigger evil was downing on our whole family: Hercules Content, my uncle.
I was going to the kitchen in order to eat some cooked rabbit, my craving, when i saw my mother and another one of my uncles talking with a heavy atmosphere in the air. I went to them and asked what was going on. With a sad expression on their faces they told me that this was it for our town and family. Hercules Content brought wild boars upon us and contributed to the death of most of the latest infants. My poor old mom was the only woman left and she could no longer have kids. I just couldn't believe this so i decided to do something. I asked uncle Champ for his horse and took off to find another city in order to bring back an infant girl, pass our name to her and save my family. My mom and uncle wished me good luck and bade me farewell. In their expression i could see they didn't believe in my quest: it was absolute madness but i had to try something. For fifteen excruxiating minutes i run on my horse to find someone, anyone to help. Occasionally i would find traces of a starting villages, some clay plates or even an abode: but no sign of life itself. I crossed desserts, forests, wolves and bears for absolutely no reason. At one point i realized my quest was doomed from it's very beginning; i also forgot to bring food with me. I decided to go back to my town in order to, at least, die in the warm embrace of my homeland. I survived on berries and wild carrots for the ramaining of my journey, i was almost there but sadly died couple of feets away from the borders of the city line, next to a tree. Thus, the proud and beautiful Content family perished forever.
But you know what makes me the most mad about this whole situation? The last words of the monster that did this, of Hercules Content, were: .
Wow never knew the whole story, I simply thought no more female kids were born, therefore they died out, but your story is amazing and super sad. Smack town and the Content family will forever remain in my memory, it was an awesome town and there was always something new to learn there.

I'm pretty sure, Content family has just beat the previous record for longest running family in OHOL with 812 generations. I'm so glad I've got to witness this!

Oh wow, that was you? I was Billi, the one in white at the wedding! When I was born into that town, my mom (the cursed woman) thought I was the most beautiful baby ever. She took me all around town calling all the other babies ugly and saying I was far better looking. Eventually I had a little brother and mom couldn't pick me up, so I did small tasks around the city to help out.
One day I saw mom talking to Bruno, asking for his sign. He said Aquarius and said it was not compatible with me, but eventually he gave like 5 or so other signs until she finally accepted. She then said we should be married in the chapel, I agreed since mom knows best. After the wedding, we ran into that guy trying to stab us a couple times again, but we got away. Bruno revealed after the wedding that he was actually an Aquarius and mom dropped dead right there, likely from shock. We thought we should celebrate with a drink, but when we got there, all the wine was empty, so I dedicated myself to getting the vineyard back in good shape. The wine aged just as we were getting old, and we got to enjoy that drink together just before we died together. While I was busy with my grapes, Bruno wrote down our story and left it in the library for people to read. We also adopted a daughter and made sure she stayed fashionable like us.
I am glad you covered the Content City in your videos. Soon it will hit #1 longest lasting family ever! It will be great to look back on it in the future.

Twisted was the OG priest! He invented the first religion in OHOL with the three pillars, in this case red, that are standing in the chapel. Too bad he couldn't find a turkey to wear as his priestly hat. Praise be!
That's an amazing life. This is one of the best things about OHOL. I do hope it gets some love from its creator soon. This game truly deserves it.

I've been born into the content family several times and it's the best place to learn and focus on making more complex recipes. I've been able to complete the feast table and pickles a few times. Earlier on I remember raising a lot of geese and witnessing the opening of the zoo. So many good memories :) It makes me so proud seeing how far the town has grown

RIP to Content Town. I just heard about it today, it lasted over two weeks (over 20,000 years). I learned that water is finite, and when that runs out oil is relied upon, but most of all, the complete devastation of an entire town can be done in one generation by one foolish man.
I got born into the Content family just recently and they are still going half a day after this posted, I was Crystal Content and right now my son Ran Content is on the family trees page for all time longest generation as I type this. This city was crazy. So big... but nobody working in the kitchen, me and my son brought it from empty to full of pies again to help the Content fam sustain for more generations!
what's funny is content is probably the only town since tini that's been around long enough to maybe make use to of the pond refill after a week thing

Omg I was just playing this, my mum was the leader, she went to a neighbouring town, potentially hostile to make a deal, she didnt come back, I Went out to look for her. When I got there, what used to be a big town had one person left, I had 1 hunger bar, I could either go search for food, or shoot the person who probably killed my mum, and then I would move slow and starve to death. So I killed them, I died but avenged my mum.

I was in the Content family and I was named Caesar. I also written a note in the library. I think I have another one as well. In the graveyard I had a mom named Amethyst and I wrote her a note.

How long do you think this city could last. Has it reached a threshhold to where it could sustain itself forever or are there limiting factors (griefers aside) that would make it die eventually
The fact that oil is finite will eventually kill the town but if you use sprinkler it is much more oil efficient so it will make it last longer
@@marcusgraham7488 they've only been doing oil on the east side, theoretically it could go another 2 weeks just fine, and the eastern oil line as of right now is 4.7k, next eastern wet is 5k, and it's like not a even a 5-10 minute trip in a van they probably have another 3-4k they can squeeze out of that in that direction. although with all the other families dieing and moving realistically it's got another week before people start getting buttblasted there newcomen town didn't get oil in 15 minutes. Also an accelerated oil burn rate because of all the truck nonsense.

I played yesterday and tried to get to this town 😂 I spawned in as an An, but the town had no food at the time and people were starving. Too many people were in the kitchen so I just left and made myself a basket and started walking along the highway. I kept finding food from dead bodies but then a wolf got me before I made it. 😅 considering the family lasted another 12+ hours I don’t feel bad for abandoning my people.
Oh no. I was in the An family in the 5 th generation and everyone was doing such a good job. But I gues at some point, the critical mass of player who don't jet know how to help, is reached.
An is a great family but Morse Mansion feels cursed in general. There had been 3 families in there and the set up isn't great LOL

@@TwistedHBG That family was nameless though. Also it was alive during the same time as this content family. So most likely someone from OG content family named one of their kids and they started becoming content instead of nameless someone probably got exiled as that family was dubious.
I played twice in the Content family as Kyle who farmed and made sure that a family heirloom was passed down to his younger sister(or Tyler? I think. I kinda forget the name) and Pier who started as a farmer until his cousin taught him and became a smith!
It made me so happy to stumble upon this video! Content was my home. I lived many lives there. I was do devastated when it died out. It was nice getting to see it all again through your video. You even read one of my notes from the library. 💕
I think i was there soon before u got there. i made a butt load of stew one time. usually i keep to farming as i am new and just kinda learning as i go. very interesting game. i enjoy it a lot. dabbling in forging and stuff for tools. do some wood runs. thanks to you i stick to pines. keep up the good work twisted. you the man.

I lived 3 lives as a content, Krys had two sons a daughter and a adopted daughter. Died, spawned back and was a pie maker after my past daughter as krys daughter, (i didnt know existed) Emo content saved me from a old lady that tried to kill me. Las life, I was also a girl and gave birth to my mom again haha, Fun times as a content
EDIT: Someone took me to their shrine and killed me as an old lady in my third life haha, said I would life on in the shrine. Cute kid.

I made a sprinkler in this town
I was adopted by my second cousin who raised me as her own. She was dating my adopted dad and they had a wedding and got married. I put them together in a special spot surrounded by berry bushes. I was about to write a permanent note about their love for each other and them being great parents. But I died before writing it. So my body will be found next to my parents decorated graves. Also why is there no "father" grave carving?
