This is for all the people who suffer from interstitial cystitis. I read a study with people who took 1000mg a day of Quercetin, and it stopped up to 90% of flares after 30 days. I have had IC for over 25 years, and the pain is so severe, and I wouldn't be able to eat any of these foods she listed without a horrible flare. I been taking just Quercetin for 6 now, and I forgot what it feels like to be out of pain. I use the PURE brand it doesn't have all those bad added ingredients
I used it in my cancer journey. By the way 100% healthy now
What other natural supplements did you use to help your journey?

I was very surprised that you didn't mention that quercetin is in citris peal, especially high in grapefruit peel in the peal and white pith. You can also make your own quercetin by low boiling grapefruit peals for 3 hrs. Quercetin is also used in the ER as an antivenom from venomous snake bites. My son and I have been taking it every day for over a year. Didn't know that it is more effective when eaten with healthy fats. Thanks for sharing all this great info! I'd like to hear you do a video on NAC and it's benefits as well, which we also take with the quercetin.
I was able to get rid of my food allergies and eczema I had for years
Quercetin has great potential in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. Quercetin could cure cardiac arrhythmia through multiple mechanisms and signaling pathways. Science Direct-Sep 22.
Quercitin was a life changer in terms of allergies. I got off all the meds like Zyrtec, Benadryl, Allegra that made me feel like a zombie. It’s amazing!
Did you any other medicine with it?
How much do you take daily?
I have taken Quercetin 500mg daily for a little over 2 years now and it has a longterm effect to make allergies go away entirely. This effect requires taking it continuously (I at one time stopped taking it for 2 weeks and the allergies came back but then I quickly regained the benefits taking it again) and really only kick in after a year in my experience. I do not have any severe allergies but lots of the type that make you have a runny nose and puffy eyes. All of those are 100% gone from Quercetin now. People who take it seasonally are missing out as then they only get a few hours of relief every time. I also have a genetic where I keep getting spots on my skin (luckily this also comes with great regeneration) and Quercetin makes them slowly fade so I don't become a spotted monster over time. Together with Vit D and Omega 3 there is also a crazy skin-protective effect where I can be in the sun for hours with my otherwise sensitive skin without sunscreen and have zero effects. Would be interesting to know if this works for others as well.

Omega 3 seems to have negative effects on sun exposure in studies. That’s cool it works for you
@@brandonyoung4910 Probably larger doses than the 1g I take daily. Just like the studies that found 3g+ can actually be somewhat toxic.
Been having extreme sinus issues and sudden hearing loss, searched the net and read Quercetin may be a relief for a myriad of histamine problems. So like a good patient,, asked my PC and my heart docs, if Quercetin was okay for this 85 yr old woman to take along with my heart meds. Both their responses - "What is guercetin?" What the ...?
I just found your show, what some great information, I can't wait to see the ones I missed . 👍👍👍

Great video as usual ! ❤
Thank you Dr
Dr. Janine, I've found your video a little late (two years). Anyway, I love it. Good infos and quite a lot.
It is long but you made me watch it, you have charisma.
I'll look for other videos. Thank you!😊

Thank you!
Dr. Janine. I'm struggling with vitiligo. Can you please help me? I don't know what to do or not do, like going in the sun or not. Are you accepting new patients? I love all you ideas.
Ive been using it for years and it works. I only take 2 a day (EMIQ) and my allergies are mostly under control. I believe some body builders use it to give them a pump. It definitely increases muscle mass. If you just do some negatives for a month or two and you will be huge in whatever area you choose. I also give it to my dog. Methylene blue is incredible, USP grade will help get rid of brain fog and many many other things look into it.. before penicillin it seems they used methylene blue. Its called the silver bullet for malaria. I also use chlorinedioxide look into it.. Its amazing!

Note: Goldenrod DOES NOT cause allergies. This beautiful Fall flower is blamed because it comes out at the same time as ragweed and grows near ragweed, however, Goldenrod does not cause allergies. In fact, Goldenrod can be used to help with allergies! Use the leaves and the flower to make teas with (fresh or dried). There are tons and tons of medicinal properties and benefits to Goldenrod. Stop blaming it for allergies...!
I’m allergic to Goldenrod. The itching drives me crazy. Only natural relief for that is Witch Hazel.
Which Quercetin is better (Sophora japonica) or (Dimorphandra Mollis) ?
In Puerto Rico we cook with fresh coriander leaf
Raw coriander leaves are commonly called cilantro - so yeah, lots of people are consuming this.
Took it all through covid outbreak and never got it.
In 2 years I got slightly sick once but it did not overtake me and 3 days later completely over the bug.
2 years one minor cold tells me the stuff works. I also take D3 multi vitamin and 50 mg zinc daily.
Coriander is just Cilantro by another name. There's a Venezuelan recipe that uses Avacado (healthy fat) and a huge amount of Cilantro blended together - it's delish! And, Cilantro is easily grown indoors. (Note: my friends from Venezuela do NOT eat anything hot so they don't put hot peppers in it at all but lots of people do...so that's up to your own taste buds.)
Cilantro is the leaves of the plant, corriander are the seeds, they taste totally different. Same plant tho.
My brother used to tell me that it also goes by the name Chinese parsley.
Coriander is good as an anti anxiety herb too
How much is in wild black raspberries; I found out that they have extremely high antioxidants
Does quercetin cook out? I put it in my pepper pot soup this week.
Someone needs to tell Dr. Grundy !
I read that Quercetin can hinder the thyroid from working properly. I also read that as long as the dosage is 250mg is less per day, it won't hurt thyroid function. Is this true?
I have 1/2 of my thyroid. I take Quercetin daily, 500 mg with bromelain. My thyroid levels are normal.
I too only have 1/2 of my thyroid ,,do you take thyroid Rx?

You never kno anymore if they were born a man and identify as female, but either way, she is nice looking.
Coriander leaves aka Cilantro...
What is the effect of heat on Quercetin?
I don't typically have any pain either unless I've worked for more than 4 hours
Does this mean we should be taking it with warm water?

What is the best time to take this. With food or empty stomach
Hello. So lucky to find you. Could you work on getting permission to let us know what supplements you use?
She recommends VitaTree products on most of her videos.
You dont kno anyone who eats Cilantro?!?! Its a staple in Mexican food. We eat it all the time here in SoCal. Capers are delish and popular served in a sauce over Salmon.
What if you have sleep issues, must take in AM only?
get early morning sunlight

Does Quercetin help lower Uric acid?
This is what we should have taught our children.. How to properly care for the body. I have learned a lot and can say I. Believe she is giving super honest advice. Although I don't agree with some of he diet choices, as I support plant based diet. I can vouch she is being a good naturalpathic Dr here.
How do you get vitamin B12 bc its only found naturally in meat?
How could you teach anyone when governments are directly responsible for for deliberately destroying everyone's health by hiding all these things.
How about Mountian Ash berries?
Somehow I reasoned that berries that are frost resistant, late maturing and grow in cold climates tend to have better **** value. I don't really know for sure though. (bad spell checker)
Good to know about the filler. My new bottle has fillers 😭 it’s my second day, yesterday was good, no itching skin all day. Today I opened the quercetin capsule (250 mg quercetin, 125 mg bromelain) and put it in a mug with a smidge of coconut oil, and camomile tea bag, and poured some boiled some water over it to steep. Sipping now, seems nice, a little salty. Next, following with a mug of turmeric /curcumin blend with black pepper and coconut oil. Appreciate your talk ❣️
All meds/supplements have fillers the most popular is magnesium stearate, it’s almost impossible to avoid. I’ve taken the Solgar brand since early 2020 works great for me.
Does Quercetin help with fibroid tumors? I'm glad that I found your channel. I do have RA attritus and often wake up with stiffness. I'm 53 years young. Thank you Dr. J
Try looking up “Serrapeptase” for fibroid tumors.
Balance your hormones for fibroid and of course avoid sugar and eat a lot of veggies. Removed 53 fibroid I knew the secret after it was too late
Sounds like every health care provider should be recommending this. Any adverse effects or interactions?

Just need to know
can quercitin help correct a zinc deficiency? I've had the hardest time normalizing my zinc levels through diet and supplements alone.

Can you take Quercetin long term? Its the only thing that has helped with Long Covid symptoms, 1g a day. but ive heard it can damage kidneys, I would like to know if this is safe to take indefinitely
Are quercitine good for food allergies????
Is this safe for the elderly? Also, if on bp and depression/anxiety meds?
If you are on BP and anxiety meds take NATTOKINESE and 5 HTP
You will drop BP by 20 points and feel great
Yes
Is this safe to add to my pill regimen with thyroid meds, hrt, dhea, regular multivitamins?
Yes! I do.
Are there negative effects?
Was telling a friend about it, and he insisted that it was damaging to liver or something else like that and should stop taking immediately, otherwise I don't think I've heard anything negative 🤔

Can you take Quercetin with hypothyroid meds
Quercetin can block thyroid iodine absorption.
Bog Whortleberries are a type of blueberry (I looked it up.). Given the name, it probably grows in wet, marshy or 'bog' areas. If you have an area that gets really wet and you have a winter, you could probably grow these without too much problem.
Your eye question needed to be clarified.
Any anti-parasite medications, such as Albendazole and Ivermectin, help with weight loss and has anti-cancer growth properties.
will quercetin help with mcs
For histamine intolerance better is DAO enzyme or Bovine kidney organ meat that has a natural DAO. Only if one knows how to cook it in pressure cooker with a lot of Ginger to eliminate the smell of cooking kidney.
Cooked can be cooled, sliced thin , dehydrated dry ground into powder and put in capsules.
Used to be available as an organ meat extract in health food stores but now days impossible to find.
Allergy Research brand no longer sells it . I used it in the past.
Amazon has them.
Does Quercetin negatively impact female fertility?
And, as I recently found out after taking it throughout the day recovering from COVID, it is, for some of us, a stimulant. I was WIDE awake at midnight. LOL. I'll just limit mine to the early AM in the future.
Apricot seeds are good? If so, how much to take it?
Apricot seeds are poisonous
They used to be used in cancer treatment in Mexico
Do you know anything about the effects of quercetin on hormones? I've been taking quercetin consistently (with breaks) for a year or more and the last several months I've noticed significant hormonal imbalance. I stopped use about a month ago and seems I may be balancing out a bit (not sure yet)
Quercetin can block thyroid iodine absorption.
@Jaded Optimist thank you so much. That would make sense with the symptoms I was having!

Great video . Is it safe to take quercetin for a long period of time? I suffer with a lot of pain from my bones . I just finished my dosage . It helped me a lot I was pain free.
Many people do take in ongoing, but always. check with your health practitioner to be sure.
Everything in moderation is usually the rule.
Maybe only take it when you feel like you need it and don't over do it ?
Totally pain free ? Wow that's great 👍

So is it best to take Quercetin with a food that contains fat or on an empty stomach? Some products say take with food but others say take on an empty stomach.
Quercetin is best absorbed with healthy fats, but if it's a good quality one, it should be well absorbed anytime. Watch out for things like magnesium stearate in supplements that can compromise absorption.
@@doctorjanine magnesium stearate block absorbtion ?

Do you have to eat meat ? As I saw your meal … capers is no meat I don’t understand why you compare it to meat . Meat has Marco protein not a plant does it have quercetin ? I read that quercetin is a thyroid disrupted- it interferes with iodine/iodide uptake to thyroid.
As I am depleted in iodine and taking a low-dose iodine supplement, I stopped the quercetin.
I wish the docs would go into detail about contraindications, when selling us their products.
Some of the interactions may be dangerous.

Its natural HCQ
It's odd that Quercetin reduces body fat, helping with weight loss, but should be taken with fat to make it more absorbing!
I myself, buy Lipsomal Quercetin that does not get blocked by the intestinlal compounds, and gets right to the mitochondria making it very bioavailable.
Curious of quercetin is effective to minimize MCAS the histamine response triggered by perfumes, chemicals, yeast, fungus or mold ?
Maybe this Dr. could produce an effective supplement to prevent respiratory triggers such as these ? MUCH Appreciated 😘
I really appreciate you talking about quercetin. But could you please slow waaaayyyy down. I hardly ever watch you because I just can't keep up, so I have to back it up over and over. It stresses me waaaayyyyy out and I usually just turn over to one the others I follow. Plus explain what things are please.

Yes, you can choose to slow the playback speed up in the settings …when you tap the video the settings show up in the upper right corner. Click the wheel one. I use this often to change playback speed for too slow talkers and too fast talkers 😅

I’ve tried quercetin but it gives me an upset stomach, I’ve even tried taking with food, any suggestions?
Try taking 20-30 minutes before a meal.
Also consult a physician if you are taking anything for calcium. Quercetin mixed with something for calcium can lead to upset stomach nausea and vomiting.
