This is for all the people who suffer from interstitial cystitis. I read a study with people who took 1000mg a day of Quercetin, and it stopped up to 90% of flares after 30 days. I have had IC for over 25 years, and the pain is so severe, and I wouldn't be able to eat any of these foods she listed without a horrible flare. I been taking just Quercetin for 6 now, and I forgot what it feels like to be out of pain. I use the PURE brand it doesn't have all those bad added ingredients

I was very surprised that you didn't mention that quercetin is in citris peal, especially high in grapefruit peel in the peal and white pith. You can also make your own quercetin by low boiling grapefruit peals for 3 hrs. Quercetin is also used in the ER as an antivenom from venomous snake bites. My son and I have been taking it every day for over a year. Didn't know that it is more effective when eaten with healthy fats. Thanks for sharing all this great info! I'd like to hear you do a video on NAC and it's benefits as well, which we also take with the quercetin.

I have taken Quercetin 500mg daily for a little over 2 years now and it has a longterm effect to make allergies go away entirely. This effect requires taking it continuously (I at one time stopped taking it for 2 weeks and the allergies came back but then I quickly regained the benefits taking it again) and really only kick in after a year in my experience. I do not have any severe allergies but lots of the type that make you have a runny nose and puffy eyes. All of those are 100% gone from Quercetin now. People who take it seasonally are missing out as then they only get a few hours of relief every time. I also have a genetic where I keep getting spots on my skin (luckily this also comes with great regeneration) and Quercetin makes them slowly fade so I don't become a spotted monster over time. Together with Vit D and Omega 3 there is also a crazy skin-protective effect where I can be in the sun for hours with my otherwise sensitive skin without sunscreen and have zero effects. Would be interesting to know if this works for others as well.

Ive been using it for years and it works. I only take 2 a day (EMIQ) and my allergies are mostly under control. I believe some body builders use it to give them a pump. It definitely increases muscle mass. If you just do some negatives for a month or two and you will be huge in whatever area you choose. I also give it to my dog. Methylene blue is incredible, USP grade will help get rid of brain fog and many many other things look into it.. before penicillin it seems they used methylene blue. Its called the silver bullet for malaria. I also use chlorinedioxide look into it.. Its amazing!

Note: Goldenrod DOES NOT cause allergies. This beautiful Fall flower is blamed because it comes out at the same time as ragweed and grows near ragweed, however, Goldenrod does not cause allergies. In fact, Goldenrod can be used to help with allergies! Use the leaves and the flower to make teas with (fresh or dried). There are tons and tons of medicinal properties and benefits to Goldenrod. Stop blaming it for allergies...!

Coriander is just Cilantro by another name. There's a Venezuelan recipe that uses Avacado (healthy fat) and a huge amount of Cilantro blended together - it's delish! And, Cilantro is easily grown indoors. (Note: my friends from Venezuela do NOT eat anything hot so they don't put hot peppers in it at all but lots of people do...so that's up to your own taste buds.)

Good to know about the filler. My new bottle has fillers 😭 it’s my second day, yesterday was good, no itching skin all day. Today I opened the quercetin capsule (250 mg quercetin, 125 mg bromelain) and put it in a mug with a smidge of coconut oil, and camomile tea bag, and poured some boiled some water over it to steep. Sipping now, seems nice, a little salty. Next, following with a mug of turmeric /curcumin blend with black pepper and coconut oil. Appreciate your talk ❣️

Quercetin is best absorbed with healthy fats, but if it's a good quality one, it should be well absorbed anytime. Watch out for things like magnesium stearate in supplements that can compromise absorption.

You did not mention another benefit of Quercetin. It is a PDE5 inhibitor. Which works great with correcting problems related to ED.

Do you have to eat meat ? As I saw your meal … capers is no meat I don’t understand why you compare it to meat . Meat has Marco protein not a plant does it have quercetin ? I am sure there is a lot of benefits of red meat but we cannot eat it caper I think will not replace it unless it is packed with amino acid ?

I read that quercetin is a thyroid disrupted- it interferes with iodine/iodide uptake to thyroid.
As I am depleted in iodine and taking a low-dose iodine supplement, I stopped the quercetin.
I wish the docs would go into detail about contraindications, when selling us their products.
Some of the interactions may be dangerous.

It's odd that Quercetin reduces body fat, helping with weight loss, but should be taken with fat to make it more absorbing!
I myself, buy Lipsomal Quercetin that does not get blocked by the intestinlal compounds, and gets right to the mitochondria making it very bioavailable.

Curious of quercetin is effective to minimize MCAS the histamine response triggered by perfumes, chemicals, yeast, fungus or mold ?
Maybe this Dr. could produce an effective supplement to prevent respiratory triggers such as these ? MUCH Appreciated 😘

It stresses me waaaayyyyy out and I usually just turn over to one the others I follow. Plus explain what things are please.

Yes, you can choose to slow the playback speed up in the settings …when you tap the video the settings show up in the upper right corner. Click the wheel one. I use this often to change playback speed for too slow talkers and too fast talkers 😅

Also consult a physician if you are taking anything for calcium. Quercetin mixed with something for calcium can lead to upset stomach nausea and vomiting.
