BMW F 750GS, Installing Wunderlich "Extreme" Bash plate on my bike

In this video I install the Wunderlich Extreme Bash plate on my BMW F750GS.
The installation was pretty straight forward except from one thing. The rear installation bracket or what to call it.
The construction of the bracket makes it impossible to tighten the bolts with a proper tool. So at least I was not able to torque the bolts that’s mounting the bracket in the engine, with the correct torque spec (8 Nm) All the other bolts are easily reachable and able to torque with a torque wrench.

For the engineering at rear, I am agree with you
It’s like they have made that hole in the plate for the tool but don’t control so the hole lines up with the bolt, like they never tested to mount the plate themselves 🤔

Yes now i’m ready for new adventure. I have to work one week more an than I have to go to stockholm for a couple of days and so on so I plan to start the adventure in about two weeks. I like those wunderlich gear, except for that rear mounting bracket 😂. I also think that those large textile bags can come in handy to store MC-jacket and trousers in during the night. It will protect them from bugs but still be breathing. Last time I was out I got ants 🐜 in my pants 👖 🤔 Not optimal 😂😂

Bike is looking good with the skidplate! What does "kviddsjö.." sign mean on the wall?
Kviddsjö is probably a name on a lake here close by. And plan is a flat area. So kviddsjöplan means the flat area of the lake kviddsjö. When I was much younger maybe in the 15th years age, or even younger, my father told me about a sign to kviddsjöplan. He remembered it since he was young and had a job in the summer vacation as a postman I guess it was when he still was at the high school. He said that there was two signs from different directions on the same road that pointed to kviddsjöplan, but you never come to kviddsjöplan you only came to the other sign that told you to go back in the opposite direction 😂
We looked at different maps and also drove ve around with the car to try to find those signs. But we could never find kviddsjöplan or some of the signs. We often talked about the mystery about kviddsjöplan. Than suddenly maybe 20 years later the sign sat there at the side of a forest road. I told my father that I found the sign after all those years. And for a couple of years ago when they build a big wind mill park, the sign was run over by a big truck or something like that so it was laying down on the ground. So of course I had to take it home.
So that sign has a very special meaning for me. It’s a magic sign that connects me and my fathers “childhood”.

Yes it really is. But I have still never found kviddsjöplan 🤔 Maybe it’s a little like “Neverland” in Peter Pan. 🤔😊
