This is the first animatic (and first UA-cam video) I've ever done so this was by far one of my more ambitious projects.

(there's a small mistake I made in the video itself in the title, i guess that's just what happens with the bands ronnie radke was in anyway)

For those of you wondering, yes I'm the original author of the DeviantArt comic Error Code 16. I started that comic when I was 12 years old. Although I will forever remember and cherish the overwhelming support I received from making that comic, which certainly set the trajectory for my future work, and motivated me to continue making comics, please stop bringing it up. I don't want my current art defined by a middle schooler's attempt at writing a cohesive story. I didn't even have a script for it, I just drew what I liked and thought would make sense because that's what children do.
I reiterate, however, that I am immensely grateful for all of the incredibly supportive people in this comment section. I wasn't expecting it. 29k views, that's INSANE!!

You will ALWAYS have me as a fan and subscriber, the way he threw himself forward when he screamed " can't you see?!" Like he just gut shot or something, witch is kinda the case if you try to put yourself into the characters shoes and feel what feeling, I would feel like I was dieing on the inside too 🔥💚

The part when the singer started screaming “can’t you see?” Always brings shivers down my spine.
Like me, it even makes me want to scream too. The song touches my soul in an unthinkable way.

Zim and Dib being to relatable for 4 minutes and 51 seconds.
The ending is sweet tho, Zim is just there for Dib. Everything seems peaceful yet vast, I think to show the long journey to recovery they both will have.
I love how zim is having a momento of dismorphia, not just with his irken - human identity, but with his social gender construct and general appearance

Zim, he seems so upset when he's thinking about the positive moments, and that scene where he realized the tallest cut him off, that black and white scene? Fantastic, amazing, it really carries the intended emotions, its beautiful and I wish it was longer because just, the movements, were just fantastic and I wanna animate something like that now

If you looked closely at Dib you can tell he's getting Skinner and Skinner everytime he appears in the video

What a unrated animatic this is so good and so clean with movements and transitions and I love you artstyle too and the song fits for zim so much with him trying to prove himself you did a really job
Escuchar tantas veces esto me hace sentir mal por Zim, me gustaría saber más de este AU, es un increíble trabajo. Las emociones son tantas y la desesperación de que Los Altos ni siquiera mostraran interés en contestar las llamadas de Zim me llegó al corazón. Fácilmente sin leer el título, pensé que era algo ZaDr, aún así no me importa mucho si hay romance o no entre ellos, su relación se ve muy bien como lo pones. Me encantaría si en algún futuro tuvieras más redes para poder seguir tu trabajo.

Just barely found this and I’m in love, the animation is amazing, this is incredible and you draw them so cute! My boys! I adore that Gaz actually cares for Dib in this. I’m confused a little at the ending, was Zim just imagining their friendship to graduation?
The way I see it, Zim was just imagining what life could've been/could be like if the three had been friends. And in the very last scene he takes that first step towards that, being by Dib's side to support his as he recovers.
But of course, that's just one girl's interpretation
