Since the planet-jackers stated that Earth wasn't in their 'no steal' list you'd think that would have tipped him off that his mission was effectively a 'make work' project by the Tallest to get rid of him
Is no one going to talk about how perfect the explosion was at 2:27 or how genius it was for both dim and zib's background colors to come together when they held hands and in a way came to an understanding? Like, that is some well placed detail!
Just the story and the animation and the thought that "yeah, I guess after obsessing over someone for years you would kind of gain this affection either be it platonic or a sort of romantic", even though I know the story is they'll always be in this endless loop of fighting, it's nice to think they would mature enough to see they would make amazing friends

oh how I love the dynamic of “I hate this guy’s guts and we fight every time we cross paths but we’ve known each other for so long that if *anyone* else other than me hurts them in any way, they should expect me to hit them with a bus”

It's probably one of the best ways to define their status, both Dib and Batman try to stop Zim and Joker, respectively, for so long it's the basis of their character arcs and makes the few times they need to work together even more poignant
I have admittedly, learned recently about the existence of the invader zim community, and i shall say that it is easily one of the most creative fanbases i've ever seen. Good work.

I really like that ending. I mean, it might just be me, but Dib being on the roof and just looking up into space feels like he's saying, "I wanna go up there" but then there's Zim looking out at the city being like, "I think I like it better down here". Just the whole Dib being from earth wanting to go to space and Zim being from space wanting to stay on earth. I might just be reading too much into it, I most likely am actually, but it feels nice.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! The animation in this is so smooth and genuinely has SUCH a perfect flow to it. I'm OBSESSED with the party at 1:15 where the screen splits! It looks really cool and I love getting to see the two of them in their school environment... plus watched Dib and Zim attack one another in a playful way is really nice to see. I really loved how you did some of the scenes with it fading from greyscale to them each being highlighted in their own colours and my heart MELTED seeing Zim soft with GIR. Also, the song just fits so perfectly for them? Since Dib's been called Membrane's "insane son" his whole life, it's probably really good for him to have someone in his life who's just as odd as he is and who doesn't make him feel like everyone else does. It's great to see your art. :)

Every frame of this animatic is a dang speed-paint and I’m so glad the fandom’s still getting relatively recent content! I absolutely adore the use of colour scattered throughout the animatic, the way the background is more coloured than the characters yet they still contrast and each look unique, the way your style applies without losing any subtle details out of the show, and the impact of having desaturated characters in close proximity and active shots in front of a powerful and intense background is already effective, so the fact that you took it a step further by actually giving the characters colour from 1:23 is just incredible! Disclaimer: yes, I’m aware that they’re Dib and Zim, I just can’t be bothered writing “Dib, Zim, Gaz, Professor Membrane and Gir” every time I mention the saturation contrast.

The amount of aw's and oh's I said while watching and rewatching this is just too much to keep track. I absolutely love the cutesie outfit Zim was wearing when he came into Dib's room, the teasing each other in class, Dib rescuing Zim from the wreckage and Zim taking Dib up on the rooftop. I love the idea that they are honestly sort of friends. Like zim always says he plans to destroy the world still but isn’t really planning on it. And that they still fight each other but if one got seriously hurt the other would be worried
I still find it funny that a lot of the fandom draw zim being tall when like a lot of the joke about the tallest hating him is because he’s short and a nuisance. But in the show he is as tall as the other kids so it does make for him to be sized up when you give the kids normal proportions.

Like the use of distinct colors (pink and blue) throughout the majority of the animatic but then at the end when they touch hands it turns PURPLE oh my god I got chills! I just love how real this felt. The outfits and expressions and details all throughout were just gorgeous. In just 3 minutes you created more depth to these characters than the actual show did I s2g. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! The animation in this is so smooth and genuinely has SUCH a perfect flow to it. I'm OBSESSED with the party at 1:15 where the screen splits! It looks really cool and I love getting to see the two of them in their school environment... plus watched Dib and Zim attack one another in a playful way is really nice to see. I really loved how you did some of the scenes with it fading from greyscale to them each being highlighted in their own colours and my heart MELTED seeing Zim soft with GIR.
Also, the song just fits so perfectly for them? Since Dib's been called Membrane's "insane son" his whole life, it's probably really good for him to have someone in his life who's just as odd as he is and who doesn't make him feel like everyone else does.

Such a small detail but I just love how defeated the both of them look when Gir nearly takes them both out.
This song fits Dib (and his rivalry with Zim) really well. This entire animatic is paced really well, the drawings are absolutely STELLAR, and also a love Gir's little "Ta da!! :D"
Every frame of this animatic is a dang speed-paint and I’m so glad the fandom’s still getting relatively recent content! I absolutely adore the use of colour scattered throughout the animatic, the way the background is more coloured than the characters yet they still contrast and each look unique, the way your style applies without losing any subtle details out of the show, and the impact of having desaturated characters in close proximity and active shots in front of a powerful and intense background is already effective, so the fact that you took it a step further by actually giving the characters colour from 1:23 is just incredible!
Disclaimer: yes, I’m aware that they’re Dib and Zim, I just can’t be bothered writing “Dib, Zim, Gaz, Professor Membrane and Gir” every time I mention the saturation contrast.

I imagine dib and zim grown their relationship from kids forming over the years to come to a slow understanding the fights and world domination but it’s a bond it’s playful teasing it platonic friendship and maybe even more either way the two complete eachother and u brought that to life on screen good job love the work hope to see more

I still find it funny that a lot of the fandom draw zim being tall when like a lot of the joke about the tallest hating him is because he’s short and a nuisance. But in the show he is as tall as the other kids so it does make for him to be sized up when you give the kids normal proportions.

Oh my god this is just beyond brilliant! Like the use of distinct colors (pink and blue) throughout the majority of the animatic but then at the end when they touch hands it turns PURPLE oh my god I got chills! I just love how real this felt. The outfits and expressions and details all throughout were just gorgeous. In just 3 minutes you created more depth to these characters than the actual show did I s2g. Absolutely brilliant. Your art is stunning and the storytelling here is amazing. I'm so excited to see what else you will make. I'm subscribing for sure!
