His Father died when he was 12 and his mother a year after. The song references basically no matter where he is or what he eats he carries this pain with him, the part about needing help and paying for it is for professional help but it doesn't take away the pain. His dad had thought him that there are no borders(in dutch Grenzen) which can reflect to borders of a country or your own limitations, and by reaching the eurosongfestival he basically shows he is pushing his boundaries and that he did listen to what his dad thought him.
The song is actually pretty heavy and sad, but its made on really happy beat. The song just makes you want to move and feel happy and at the ending kind of brings you down and get emotional it is truly a amazing piece of art.
