Yep, it is that expensive nowadays.
That book is gigantic. The biggest omnibus I have is the Onslaught Omni from Marvel and I don't think I could ever read a book bigger than that. Although I have been looking to get into Conan, I might check this out on Comixology.
this is a beauty. but its too big to read unless you stick it on a table. however, the binding is excellent and it can be opened flat. i will stick with the floppies and use this to scare people with.
The purpose of a book such as this is to be read on a table and nowhere else.
i don t understand... is this a collection of illustrations or is it a collection of all the Conan Omnibus Stories?

@Sequentials Deluxe: This may be a weird comment, but I noticed that your hands are almost EXACTLY like MINE! I'm 51 Years old, and I've never in my life seen someone who has hands that look genotypically like mine. Your right-hand thumbnail is different than your left-hand thumbnail, though. Other than that difference, the structure and look of your fingers and thumbs are an exact match! Very strange to me, but remarkable.
I've never been a big Conan fan but I've got to admit, I really want to read that book! Great video :)

The book looks amazing art-wise! though I did not expect to see Bruce Timm name on it lol.
Dave Stewart is an amazing colorist, one of the best and in my top 10 even top 5 favorite colorist.
Busiek is a solid writer, he's not a mind-blowing writer but he can surprise me a lot times with some books like Superman Secret Identity which i think is great.
It would be interesting to hear your Top ten artist and Top ten writers since you have a taste in comics very interesting, i think.
Yeah I would like to do that one day, I'm always discovering new artists though so I'd have to update it like every six months...

Dark Horse should release a second volume featuring all stories by Truman/Giorello. That would be just as good.

Never...Marvel has the rights to Conan now and they have released about 80% of this book in two paperback Epic Collections

Do you know any recent modern run of Conan that is a good starting point for new readers?
Conan is very episodic, so you don't really have to focus on continuity, you can just jump right in at any point. I would read his origin first though, just so you can get an understanding of the character, but you'll learn about the lore the further you go, good luck 👍
just ordered volume 1 of the "Conan: omnibus" that just released! Nord's art gives me those glorious Esad Ribic vibes and makes me want to go drink mead after each issue lol
You mentioned that Dark Horse will be releasing this in a new format soon. Do you know what format it will be?
It'll be softcover standard size. Just a larger page count than the smaller TPBs
I wish dark horse would put out just some straight libary editions of this.

+Vonklinkenhoffn it's a mix, there's a handful of adapted Howard stories especially closer to the beginning and towards the end it becomes a bit of it's own thing

Cool book but Conan comics are simply not Conan.
The Dark Horse Conan comics were kind of ass. I didn't care for the artwork at all.

If you're a Nord fan? More power to ya, to me it looks as if his art is far too juvenile for such an adult themed book.
It'd be like Skottie Young penciling Watchmen!
