Of course there is... He has stuff about that in his book I'm pretty sure. DJ Shipley mentions it in his Shawn Ryan interview. They have to do a nuts Physical test, Psych evals, panel interview, etc.
lmao nah, for devgru, you have to be a vet in a regular seal teams first, done a lot of tours under your belt, well liked by your team for you to be invited for the green team, which is a selection for devgru. obv u do physical test, psych etc.. most important would be CQB stuff.

We used to go to baja cantina and chicks oyster bar have the entire place cracking up. Ran through more bartender and waitreses around the country then i can remember.
That went away in 2001 I think. I had a mentor/teacher in high school who was UDT/Seal Team 1 in the Vietnam era. Would talk to me about it some bc I was interested. Awesome guy. Could tell he was tough as shit under his nice facade. LOL. Stories he told me about being a SEAL in Vietnam were pretty crazy. Ended up getting attacked while they were on one of their boats going up a river. Proper firefight from Vietkong soldiers on the river bank from what he told me. Shrapnel injury and ultimately medically retired him. His name is on the display at the Navy SEAL Museum in Ft. Pierce that lists operators. But things are different nowadays. I'm glad we get to hear about these missions and the heroic shit most of these guys have done for their teammates and our country!
Is this the guy who wrote the book, movie deal, etc., then got out of the Navy with like 17years or so of service? Then, when all the expected money failed to appear because the DOD went after him, he went public with a claim the DOD/Navy screwed him and he lost all of his retirement/medical benefits? I remember watching a news cast with a Navy Admiral (former ST6 member) who publicly stated he was counseled as to what would happen if he left the Navy - lost of benefits, etc. and he made the decision to leave.
The first guy who wrote a book about the bin Laden mission, wrote the book without letting the Navy review it. Which was a violation of his non-disclosure. He ended up having to return all the money he made to a charity, and that kept him out of jail, he went on to produce seal team TV show. This guy did leave without doing his 20 years, which was probably not a smart thing to do because he only had three years left. I don’t know if he’s made enough money on the speaker circuit to make up for the lost retirement.
Here’s something I don’t understand… If the Navy doesn’t have regular Infantry, what background are guys coming from who get selected for the Seal Teams?
With only the context of this clip, it sounds confusing, but they’re talking about DEVGRU which is Team 6. 6 is the premier team which only pulls from other branches or other seal teams, but it’s a different story for the other teams. Someone off the street can be recruited to the traditional ones.
I fought on the streets with minimal weapons and at same time fought and earned my stripes with no government support only from my friends. And fought competition 15 years on the way to Olympics bad ass in the street eyes but let me try to enlist to fight for my country never happen o and I'm not white to name a few. Can u answer that?
Our government is destroying this country, where are all you badass operators? Acting as bodyguards for Pelosi and the like? I, as a taxpayer, want my money back.

Please have the admiral get ahold of my children first to tell them of our recent union ...speaking of the black admiral and i..thank you...hidden pres of usa shiloh stodolka
Its shows that there are still good people in the world that loves there children and the children of the world to attempt to stop sex trafficking against kids in this world that needs a global army like the global armies of the Mahdi to protect kids world wide from child sex trafficking??
Its weird how you can bw a true hero and deplorable liar at the same time. Remember he said somebody else shot first. The other seal who shot first had been shooting people.in the face all night. So what did he shoot at and he missed at those ranges? No fucking way
Uhhh....wait a minute....this is a Tier 1 unit....the only criteria to join is...I know this guy, he's a good dude, in shape, and well, keep up in CQB and be funny? Is there a psych eval at least? Or an interview?
Of course there is... He has stuff about that in his book I'm pretty sure. DJ Shipley mentions it in his Shawn Ryan interview. They have to do a nuts Physical test, Psych evals, panel interview, etc.
lmao nah, for devgru, you have to be a vet in a regular seal teams first, done a lot of tours under your belt, well liked by your team for you to be invited for the green team, which is a selection for devgru. obv u do physical test, psych etc.. most important would be CQB stuff.
Lord Rothschild will be pleased....
I thought conservatives like him hate the "New Work"-Order :D
That’s the difference between DEV GRU and Delta selection. Rob is during green team phase they hammer you. delta selection is treating you like a big boy from start to finish.
All about what you can see, and what you don't know. The more abused you are the better it makes you.
I'm not a big SO fan. He's not respected or included in many "Team" functions. He also got a DWI due to his heavy drinking. 📁 He used his Tier One Navy service to 🤑🤑🤑 cash in. Not cool.
“Humor”, is how the “pressure” is released in these teams! ! ! Laughing, is excellent medicine! ! ! But, it needs to be continual, these
“MEN” are jacked WAY TO HIGH! ! ! Look at & Listen to how Rob talks, he’s jacked! ! !
Rob was not the trigger man on the UBL raid, he was the chosen spokesperson. Bissonette was the shooter but didn't have the personality or mouthpiece to promote the story, so NSRO got the tap. Funny how you all just got some real talk in a UA-cam comments section. I'll bet Rob would deny it and Matt would confirm it (offline with a beer).
Oh look it’s “I killed bin Laden”
Don't forget to apply for SSDI or SSI woth the social security administration on top of your VA (veterans affairs compenstaion) percentage. BTW and extra $200 for ED; they can't test for it.
Worked with over 100 dev guys and yes they are funny as fuck and haven’t met really one not good solid guy yet
6 is just a good old boy selection.
One hit Wonder here. 'Clunker. Hay Big Guy. When the VA calls Dam Neck, can you toss me a bone? 🤔👍🔱😎 Hatch, Sir
2nd Deck life sounds proffesional as fuck. WHO WOULDN'T want to come to work every day when you're treated so well.
The workforce today could use A LOT more of that last bit. Less "are you fucking dumb?" More "here do it this way."
Imagine how many more people would be this elite if DEVGRU operators got paid even like college athletes
Do you can find all of you friends.
Thank goodness.
Love you
Test you're extreme limites.
I’ve heard stories of prank wars in Red. And they were legendary stories.
We used to go to baja cantina and chicks oyster bar have the entire place cracking up. Ran through more bartender and waitreses around the country then i can remember.
Fucking American hero 💪thank you for your service. May God bless America 🇺🇸
What happened to the "silent professional"?
I Wished That This Was My Military Service! SEAL TEAM 6 Turned Delta Force!
There’s about as much truth to him as to cnn he takes credit for shit he never did
Mad respect to these dudes....
however, why is it that SEALS, talk about missions, training, hear, etc, yet the Delta guys are like "..."
Because they aren’t even close to being on the same level. Seals join the unit to better themselves
Cag is Sparta
I've listened to plenty of Delta guys on plenty of podcasts discuss missions in detail.
He never killed Osama.
Your name sums you up good
Where you there? 🤔
Most of the entire team happened to die on a freak helo crash?
@@weaverjoshuab no SEAL died on operation Neptune Spear
OBL’s death isn’t the first time I believed a CIA story…..
The teams were the best guys in the navy. Honestly, the only guys I got along with.
Different guy
also what happens after you bodyguard the clinton's....if you live thru that mission.....hahahah!!!
@@Harlem139Convent1 thanks
The first guy who wrote a book about the bin Laden mission, wrote the book without letting the Navy review it. Which was a violation of his non-disclosure. He ended up having to return all the money he made to a charity, and that kept him out of jail, he went on to produce seal team TV show. This guy did leave without doing his 20 years, which was probably not a smart thing to do because he only had three years left. I don’t know if he’s made enough money on the speaker circuit to make up for the lost retirement.
That's alot of pressure man. Being able to perform like that is so impressive. They don't get paid enough.
Can you carry me when I get shot in my body armor 😅I think so mr. Seal
At what point does he start talking about his medals and how that gives him the proper opinion of the 2nd amendment?
Everybody got a right to their own opinion. We have something in this country called freedom of speech!
he doesnt, watch the interview hes actually incredibly humble
Red team got in trouble for scalping and skinning the enemy in Afghanistan
Red squadron Area of Operation wasn't even in Afghanistan, they were brought in for 1 mission.
wow the incredible amount of ads that youtube is making us watch
My question Seal are u as bad as u say without a weapon as u say when under weapon. ?
I fought on the streets with minimal weapons and at same time fought and earned my stripes with no government support only from my friends. And fought competition 15 years on the way to Olympics bad ass in the street eyes but let me try to enlist to fight for my country never happen o and I'm not white to name a few. Can u answer that?
once you are a gangster they won't pick you up, no matter the race.
Another excellent podcast 🇺🇸🇺🇸😎
Take experience gang member and turn him into an operator = 1 man platoon
Gang members are nothing but lowly idiot criminals
It isn't even about capability. It is about wisdom.
I thought these guys are secretive 🤔
He’s not active duty 🤦🏻♂️
@@saullopez3073 Does his obligation/signing a Non-Disclosure Form not go away once he is no longer active duty?
@@chaosncheckt9356 not if he’s revealing classified info, if he did he would be in prison by now
@@saullopez3073 Thanks
Oh. The guy who sold out for recognition. Nice
I miss the SOF big boy rules/mentality.
Sounds like the opposite of Chris Beck said
Commenting from WV(USA) Love these stories. Thanks y’all!! You need an episode on how you find and get these awesome people!!!
You look Good Homie..you remember me? Hammer time
i know a retired devgru guy i never ask him much but hes hilarious
Another great podcast Shawn!!
Robert just told that Navy Seal that he was going to kill him. In case you all forgot, Robert isn't a navy seal anymore.
What?able to send link?
RIP to the men Rob O’Neill mentioned, Robert Reeves and Mike Koch. 🇺🇸
Shawn Ryan dressed like an old-school cuban 😁
if your watching this you'v already NOT got what it takes
If they're so funny why don't we see some of these guys on the stand up comedy circuit?
Gallows humor, son.
Badass can’t wait
Hands down military dudes are the most hilarious groups of people
Our government is destroying this country, where are all you badass operators? Acting as bodyguards for Pelosi and the like? I, as a taxpayer, want my money back.
You probably cheat on your taxes and never served this country a day in your life. I’d bet you even took a PPP loan by giving false information.
I don't think any seal members continue in govt work maybe contractors and hired out. They need to make a.livinf still
Great advice don’t carry a pistol
I was a legit calk board as you guys.Australian hmmm we love humor. heh
There a dyeing breed. We are doomed
The liar speaks
Damn. So I had to go to ST6 to do PT on my own.
