If you haven't seen the leaked Delta Force hostage rescue training op where the dude dismounts off of his bird and makes like 100m+ shots (probably in the T zone) with a red dot, while sprinting like a gazelle, then proceeds to clear a building at the same speed until his weapons jams just to turn around and reveal there's like 8 more of these monsters behind him - 7:00 is definitely a truthful statement

They were pretty good against people with little to no training, wonder how they'd do against peer/near peer states like Russia or China.

I trained with a bunch of IDF Special Forces, and I was astonished on how bad they were. We have competitions with other nations Special Forces via CQB, hostage rescue etc etc. We always place at the top. The British are amazing. The Polish are amazing. The Canadians are amazing. There are many others. Russia would be phenomenal because of their current status of battle hardened warriors due to their current conflict. What makes a country so formidable is direct action in their craft. Real world events and actual events to harness their craft such as the many wars America has been in. China doesn't have that. Can they be good? Sure. But what current conflicts have they been in to test it? They don't have battle hardened warriors to test their craft

The people who delta/tier 1 are tasked to kill are probably the highest trained or best protected during the war. They're not doing grunt work.
And having 20+ years of extensively battle tested tier 1 soldiers can't be compared even to China or Russia.

They do those missions aswell. Their remit is different from conventional troops, though: the main objective is reconnaissance. That's why you have different tiers and units for different things.
Delta really came from the idea of the SAS, and the SAS does everything from war fighting to CRW to terrorism to close protection.
