    Glad you like it. I have a 2009 (bought new). For the turns a bit of counter steering will fix that. Now if you want to have fun try going past 4000 rpm on 2nd gear or higher. Coooooome on try it hehehehheheehe.....

    I've never really heard much about this bike, but now that I have a better idea of what it can do it will certainly be a contender if I decide to go with a cruiser. Good Review!!!

    MrThePrivateer No, I do use the clutch when shifting generally. There are moments I do not, but they are on my personal bikes only.

    Good review, I've seen a bunch of people riding them but I never rode one myself. One person who brought his bike in for service said its a monster on power but easy to manage.
    Thanks for sharing
    Ride safe

      Krazy Kool NYer Thank you Crazy Kool! Yes very much so. It has great power but very manageable. I believe it's the way they tuned the transmission to the engine and the ratios.

    Had this bike for awhile and I absolutely love it. The gears at least the second is very lumpy even on the newer versions from what I've heard from other people it's not great at cornering and lacks personality it reminds me of a modern Mustang car. That's the downsides. However the upside it's as fast as hell they look awesome. If you do a lot of freeway driving then this is for you but my biggest moan is that friggin second gear

      I'm 5'7 and find the M90 more nimble in the twisties.
      I've also added a M109 rear with a 245-40-18 car tyre (dark side)😉 as they fit straight on...and it handles awesome👍🏻

    I have the Raider 1900 and if I had the money that is the one I would by but not without installing a hydronic clutch and wider aftermarket pedal control. I’m tall and my legs pass at largest point of the tank. So you probably guessed that I have to twist my ankle in order to brake or shift

    • @RabidHedgehog
      @RabidHedgehog  5 років тому

      I am not as tall but I have issues with my feet being so large they barely fit pedal boxes. But I do get it, it sucks sometimes.

    Looking to upgrade from my 2nd bike (Shadow 750). Been looking at the Yamaha Stryker, and then the Suzuki M90 or M901R. Would like one that I wont have the feel to want to upgrade to another one, at least not for a very long time, if so.

    Hey Rabit. I'm thinking 'bout getting m109. But , it has only 5speeds. I comute on freeway everyday about 1 hour. Average cruising speed is about 80 to 85mph. Is 109 suitable for that?

    Hey, love your videos, I got a question, M109R or Kawasaki Vaquero? You seemed to like both bikes and I’m curious which you’d prefer? Vaquero has storage I like, but not interested in radio or such a large fairing (I hate buffeting). 109R doesn’t have cruise or storage.

    • @RabidHedgehog
      @RabidHedgehog  3 роки тому +1

      The M109R does have some paint matched hard bags that Corbin makes for them that you can convert it to having some light touring abilities. The M109 is an absolute blast and comfy for rider and passengers alike and is kind of my choice since it's pure.
