Was beautiful girl , keep up beautiful memories, we are also going to be living off grid but in the humblot or trinity mountains of Northern California , but with 3 childern and my fiancee
Chris your scene from ghost was cute…🥰Linnea love watching you make all that amazing pottery in that beautiful location. You look so relaxed and peaceful.
You could make the cracked ones planters!! They need some drainage on the bottom, you could find a funky way to hang them (maybe by the handle from the ceiling, etc..)
You seem so bright and happy; I don't think I've ever seen you like this is any of your previous videos. It's so fun and exciting learning new things that you're passionate about; I've been learning about professional dog grooming lately and it's been a blast building a new skill.
Such a sweet, tender moment with Chris recreating Ghost. I saw how he adores and respects you. Beautiful creations Linnea... you are a wonderful teacher in just being you
Grab a spray bottle next time you are at the store for water. Perfect to use for the pottery during the process in the desert . you can also spray a few pumps on the pieces throughout the day while keeping them under the plastic. :)
Beautiful job on the pottery! I love that you prioritize art in your life, wish more people did. There is an art form for everyone! Excited to see what you create on your property.
You are so gifted! Your artistry comes through in your writing, and storytelling, videography, pottery, and the artwork on your pottery, and the process of making your homemade lotions. And that was just this video. I just love watching every video. I feel truly blessed to be a small part of your journey just by watching!
My grandmother used to have a manual pottery wheel. It had a large stone underneath (in a large wooden ring) that she would push with her foot to make it go round & round. Must've been exhausting! She made most of the dishes for our cabin, that we still use today. 🙂 Happy Crafternoon~~ xo
I love your positive attitude Linnea. You always treat a failure, not as a defeat, but as a learning experience. That is such a beautiful quality to have. Keep doing and being who you are…….. A strong woman with great energy and morals.
Love your pottery. When you got the beef fat I thought you'd make your own candles. That is what they did before electricity. I remember doing for a school project when I was young. You could make your own pottery jars and fill with fat made candles. thank you for your videos!!
You may want to look into outsider art from found objects. Trash piles can become a gold mine. It is a unique art form, with no rules. An art that really brings out the inner you...
Hi Linnea, I’m sorry to see your beautiful pots crack on you. I have a suggestion you might want to give it a try. I make Hypertufa planters and to prevent the plant pots from cracking after the form has been made, I wrapped them loosely with wet newspapers and put them into a plastic bag and leave them for several days to slow down the drying time and to prevent cracking. Just a thought you could give it a try.! ❤ Kudos to Chris and the Ghost scene!😂❤
Linnea, I loved this video, thank you for sharing. You are so talented and your pottery is beautiful! I am building my van currently and encouraged to figure out how to include a proper work area for my crafts! Also your new energy was evident and a pleasure to watch. Hats off to Chris for his contribution... "your audience will get it", yes, indeed!!! LMAO, I was crying - it was great!
Lol, that was really sweet of him to recreate a romantic scene with you. I really enjoy the format you are filming in lately it seems more personal and easy like a Sunday morning.
What a lovely video Linnea ty. Your doing so much and so fun. All educational tasks will assist throughout life. Beautiful mugs and hi Chris and pups, loved the ghost scene 🐶
Using grape seed oil for skin care is also great. It has no smell, so you can add any essential oil/s & the oil will be more fragrant. I use black pepper essential oil for my husband & the smell is divine. You got guts kid. Koodos.❤😊
If you add a bit of either Titanium Oxide or Zinc Oxide powder to your lotion, you have a moisturizing sunblock. Mix one jar day cream with this and apply before going outside. Use other jar without this as your night moisturizer. Off course you can just add it into the batch, and have the sunblock not blocking anything at night, lol. I did this before and added a drop or two green food colour and sold it to family members as a day cream and night cream. They came telling me how different the two felt and how it was getting rid of wrinkles, lol.
I was so captivated by the spring vibes and joyful energy in this video! Loved this! Love the mugs, love the soundtrack, love Chris recreating the ghost scene and you just being like, wha? Haha x super cool to see how you made those creams, and just all the love - haha x x from my heart to yours, mwchwah! Grateful for what you share x
Linnea, I am not a ceramics expert but I know some who are and they use a large Styrofoam (light and cheap) cooler with a lid to store green ware and control humidity. Your mugs are beautiful!
The moisturizer looks wonderful. I have psoriasis on my knees, marigold or calendula leaves= soak in olive oil ( or whichever you want ) I leave it 4-6 weeks in a dark place, then I strain the leaves out, heat the oil slowly, add some beeswax, then put an essential oil in - pour it in a small container and THAT clears the knees up faster and better than a $52 prescription from Doc and it leaves the skin soft and glowing. I’ve made same with plantain
❤❤❤ your videos, definitely should keep the snake mug, and your mom is going to LOVE a mug from you. It was very interesting to see what you did with the fat trimmings.
If you find that the pottery dries too fast when you have it in a shed, utilize a humidifier to keep the air from being so dry. That should slow down the drying process.
Tallow 101. Loved the tutorial. At first, I thought u were making candles?~~ but, instead moisturizer! Love IT 🙂 Skincare is so important in the great outdoors~~
You are so creative with all you fun ideas and making it happen. Way to go and what in inspiration you are . Keep up the art stuff your very good at it. Bonnie
Your pottery is amazing even with the setbacks. Hey your learning the climate thing. The throwing and shaping.. you make look so easy when it surely isn’t! So sweet.. the scene from Ghost.❤ I have heard how amazing tallow is and yours look so rich and of course moisturizing!
It's so fun to watch you throw. I'm pretty new to it as well. Your designs are great! I just built out the basement livingroom into my pottery studio. I have learned a lot in the process. One thing you really need to be aware of (you may already know) is potters lung aka silicosis. The silica in the clay dust can be really dangerous if you don't have proper air filtration, or at very least good exhaust ventilation. Can't wait to see what you put together on the land!
Wow! What Bright Energy you have this week ! Love that you chose Snake , an energy of transformation! Maybe a Spirit Helper wandering in from your quest in Peru - also Wondering if pottery that cracks like that could still be used as small planters . Cris loved the Ghost Scene input! Check out Ted Andrews Animal wise and series for reading! Love your content :
I have been married for 32 years and my husband is one of the most unromantic men you will ever meet and I’m completely fine with that he has his own ways but for some reason we watched ghost at the beginning of our relationship and that has been “our movie” I guess ever since. My husband will refer to the movie now & again throughout the years so this was something that completely melted my heart watching the two of you.❤ I will be sure to replay this for him when he gets home. By the way I cannot believe from the first time I seen you doing pottery and now wow have you been practicing. Great job!
I’ve noticed, that you make very beautiful pottery and the colours are so earthy, and your getting into make so many choices in different types you do, a venture that will bring revenue in to help you Linnea good for you 👍❤
I just love how excited you get learning new things. It’s refreshing. I am loving your pottery! So excited for you to spend time on your property! I look forward to seeing how it all unfolds! ❤
aw...jeez...Linnea....I was just getting ready to write to say use them for something else like pencil holders.....and as I started, ya tossed them....hilarious! but damn...I would have bought them to hold my stuff!🤣
You should dry your Pottery on a grid, because on the bottom side of the pottery, humidity cannot dissolve if the piece is standing on a non-breezing table. So the drawing of the pottery was uneven, it dried very good on the inside but not at all on the bottom side. This was the reason for the cracks.
Aww he was trying to reply a scene from Ghost... That was cute
🥰
Was beautiful girl , keep up beautiful memories, we are also going to be living off grid but in the humblot or trinity mountains of Northern California , but with 3 childern and my fiancee
The Ghost scene remake was adorable! Good effort Chris!!!
You should make some with akela’s nose boop on it. They would be so unique!!!
That would be soooo cute! Someone else said a stamp with her paw print could be cute too!
I LOVE the pine cone mug !!
Chris your scene from ghost was cute…🥰Linnea love watching you make all that amazing pottery in that beautiful location. You look so relaxed and peaceful.
I knew immediately what he was doing when he asked if the camera was on. ❤
Placing your mugs on a few sheets of newspaper will allow the base to move as it shrinks :)
Great tip - thank you!
You could make the cracked ones planters!! They need some drainage on the bottom, you could find a funky way to hang them (maybe by the handle from the ceiling, etc..)

Awesome job with the homemade moisturizer! I honestly had no idea what you were doing 😂. Love Chris trying to recreate the scene from Ghost! 💜
Finally someone who explaines what it is..I didn’t understand at first!🙈. Thank you!

Love Chris’s spoof of the scene from Ghost 😃
Okay… I’m in actual tears over Chris trying to re-enact Patrick Swayze in Ghost.. and you being all “wtf…are you doing??” 😅😅😅

@15:00 - TALK ABOUT THE DREAM LIFE! Spinning pottery in the middle of the desert....so happy for you and this beautiful life you've created.
It definitely feels like a dream at times! Thank you for your shared happiness ♥️

We wrapped our pottery in plastic and shrink wrap. In South Africa we have warm weather.
You are so funny throwing your cups that cracked. You are very creative and it is fun to watch you create different things.
Linnea, you are pioneer woman! Making pottery outside, on a portable wheel, tallow moisturizer...wow. What's next? (Can't wait to see!)
I really appreciate it!! ♥️
Linnea,
I am not a ceramics expert but I know some who are and they use a large Styrofoam (light and cheap) cooler with a lid to store green ware and control humidity.
Your mugs are beautiful!
I love eating whole food sources, it's very grounding. You're awesome!
Great video!! Thank you for including us in your shenanigans! I love your mugs!! Blessings till next time! 🌝💕🦋🙏🏻
Making your own moisturizer that is super awesome.
I am so excited for you to have ALL DAY with a pottery wheel at your disposal 🤗 So fun! (The clouds going by in the time lapse was also amazing)
The moisturizer looks wonderful. That should slow down the drying process.
WOW LOVE that you made your own skin moisturizer. Great video your pottery is gorgeous Linnea
Beautiful pottery and The Ghost scene from Chris was great!
You could've made the cracked mugs planter with a plate you make to go under them.
Always a pleasure watching your videos. What an inspiration you are, thank you!

Buy pop gazebo to work under so the rain won’t bother your work. Your pottery looks nice!
It nice to see you.
