Jackson Hole - Hanging Rock to Rendezvous Trail

Hanging Rock to Rendezvous Trail is an advanced-intermediate ski run located at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The trails run from the summit of the Sublette Quad Chair, just below the summit of Rendezvous Mountain, down to the bottom of the chairlift. The run begins to the skier's left of the top of the chairlift on Hanging Rock, a traverse that traverses across the mountain before reaching the bottom of Rendezvous Bowl. The run then turns to the left onto Rendezvous Trail which features a series of short but steep drops, turning to the left, before arriving at the bottom of the Sublette Quad Chair.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Teton Village, Wyoming. The resort is located in northwestern Wyoming in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, just south of Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole is located a 20-minute drive northwest of the town of Jackson, a popular tourist destination for those visiting Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks which is home to the busiest airport in the State of Wyoming, a 40-minute drive east of Driggs and Victor, Idaho, a 2-hour drive east of Idaho Falls, a 4.5-hour drive northeast of Salt Lake City, and a 6-hour 45-minute drive northwest of Cheyenne. The resort is situated on the eastern face of both the Rendezvous and Apres Vous mountains of the Teton Mountain Range. Jackson Hole is famous for its demanding expert runs such as Corbet's Couloir, a steep and narrow chute located at the top of Rendezvous Mountain, and the Hogbacks, a series of long, steep, and unrelenting trails located on the lower half of the mountain. Serving over 4,000 feet of vertical, the resort's Aerial Tram serves the largest vertical drop of any ski lift in North America. The resort is owned privately by Jay Kemmerer, who acquired the resort in 1992 and is a partial partner on the Ikon Pass, with full pass holders receiving seven days at the resort, however, base pass holders must upgrade to the base pass plus in order to receive five days at the resort.
