Life time wall clock battery

In this project I've used a 18650 ( used ) CELL from my discarded laptop's battery.
There is a converter circuit ( 3.6V to 1.5V ) to power up the wall clock
The component list of the circuit is given below.
BC547 Transistor
10K 1/4W Resistors X 2
18650 Cell
-----------------------------------------------
This will give a new life to your wallclock and you will forget to change your WallClock's Cell for so many years.
Must try this circuit and do let me know about your experience.

There must be a problem with your battery please change it then check

You have over charged and damaged that 18650 cell with 5.6v
It should not provide more then 4.2v
You are lucky that it didn’t blast
Li-ion cells are very sensitive n should required proper monitoring and handling

Yes, you are right that 18650 should be charged at safe voltage level which is 4.2V (for longer time) but you can charge it at 5V for short time ( with safe Ampere Level) it doesn't blast, Here I have charged the cell with power supply which indicates CC when the battery is over charging.

Resistance 10k sy zada ki bhi use kr sakty hai or yeh kitny wat ki hai

Replace both the 3.7k OMS Resistors to 4.7k OMS. Then the out put voltage will be 1.53volts.

Over charging over heating 18650 batteries is not an good idea... This may reduce it's overall life... 🤔

Or transistor Bc547 hai ya Pc547?
